Father above
You alone
Thank you for the new day to rise
Being a blessing to recognize
Guide me through the day and night
Give me a breakthrough when I encounter a plight
You are who I seek
Help me to stand strong and not weak
Keep me humble on your solid ground
Show me how to encourage others
Uplift my soul in your good news
Embrace me in being inspired and enthused
When telling of your goodness, help me to speak of your truth
Surround me in your spirit in blocking the Devil out
Daily as I move about
Assist me in not letting the unbeliever to challenge me in refuse
You are my King and I am your devoted Servant
Heavenly Father, enrich me in daily Wisdom and understanding
Keep my Faith strong
You are my uplift
Deliver me from approaching evils
Help me stay away from questionable personalities
The get along spectrum
You are my purpose
Let my spiritual light be obvious
Let the unbeliever see in curious
This I pray
Heaven’s gateway
Assurance everyday
Everlasting among
Amen

Preceded death;
Absent of breath;
What have I left;
As my remains you view;
Yet this is not me nor is it you;
As the many changes have came and passed;
I've gone on into the aftermath glances;
Phoenix wings and light so shine;
I have flown I have risen;
I have flied, tho! You cry;
Sigh!,.....................
Shhhh! Don't cry I'm O K
I'm with God NOW

When I was a child, I heard some adults talking,
About a saying that made no sense to me,
Something about a bad order carried out well,
Being better than a good order poorly executed.
Later when I was older the same saying or similar,
Was repeated in a film I was watching,
A war movie I think,
Age however, had not enlightened me on the relevance of the saying,
To do with life as I knew it.
That was until COvid-19 came along,
And lockdown was introduced,
Along with social distancing.
Now we can only sit back and wait,
To see if the proof is in the pudding,
Or as great grandparents might say,
Proof of the pudding is in the eating,
Which may be more apt,
And less confusing for a child,
If we go easy on the sherry.
