The chair sits empty on the alter floor
Its arms holding memories unseen
Once carrying prayers, uplifting souls
Now a silent witness waiting in sacred stillness
A core hollowed where mercy stood
Longs for the return of the humility of Christ
A muted longing, poised for grace
Where absence rests seeping out into Alberti’s space
The alter listens as prayers of devotion rise
Filling the void with hope
Holiness prepares to pour back in
Like dawn returning after the thinning tortured night
Fullness shall dwell where emptiness reigns
Strength flowing upon the embroided papal cushion
The sun brushes the valley of the nave
Rosy light spills a quiet promise
Into the incense filled smoky sadness
A renewing earth breathing words still unspoken
Is alive in prayer
Lifting promises beyond the veil of death
Into the warming morning air
There is
no Time
with Love,
for it
is eternal.
There are
no boundaries
for Love,
for it
is everywhere.
There are
no limitations
for Love,
for it
can change
everything,
right here,
right now.
Lift graced prayers to stay faith's strength on tomorrows.
Belief can vanquish dark depths threatening sorrows.
When He comes in the room, Heaven starts to move,
He is right there with you; His presence will soothe.
Let Him surprise you - He knows what to do,
Unfolding His purpose, His plans just for you.
Where the Spirit of the Lord is, liberty reigns,
Breaking all shackles, releasing all chains.
Exalt Him, for He longs to be
All that we hope for - our true I AM.
There is a new oil, rising from the deep,
Stirring the ground from its ancient sleep.
They that wait on the Lord, their strength will renew,
They will soar like eagles in skies of blue.
Signs and wonders will follow belief,
Bringing the broken hearts sweet relief.
Be the vessel He is shaping with grace,
And carry His healing to every place.
Enter every door that opportunity brings,
Create new paths, let your spirit take wings.
When you can see it, you surely can be
Bold and victorious, joyful and free.
When truth is reversed into lies,
a silent cry takes its place.
And when this happens,
prayer becomes the only weapon
against the cruelty of the world.
A cry the world refuses to hear.
A pain that goes unnoticed.
A silent cry in a solitary room—
and yet, a flicker of hope,
a thought still blooming
beyond the ache.
Trust becomes a fragile thread—
easily frayed once you step away.
Laughter echoes in your absence,
not always in kindness.
Advice arrives,
dressed in concern,
but its weight presses you further down.
Encouragement stays silent,
while sympathy hides behind walls.
Words come sharp,
not to lift, but to slice.
They speak as if they know your path,
yet never ask where your feet have been.
The smile once shared
to lift others from despair—
gone in a breath,
vanished in the hush
of midnight blues.
In a moment, everything changed.
Now, with only the weight of sorrow to carry,
I hold on to the one thing that remains:
prayer—
the shield against the shadows,
the strength to block the evil
that prowls unseen.
Will the tears ever dry?
When wrong wishes wreck what we want,
Still, each day we must try,
Featherfins flee from feral fish,
Known for never bein' shy.
Strength still same, sanity stays sane.
So we're still full of grace
Gentle giants give grander goals.
Though failure leaves no trace,
Because best buddies brin' business—
No regrets in our case.
Done deals don't destroy destinies.
Can hate stop our prayer?
Extra egos, evil echoes,
But we're under His care.
Big blessings brin' bolder beliefs,
Till success becomes clear.
We won't waste what we wish we want.
For things our minds conceive,
With wisdom we will win worse wars.
We rather hope than grieve.
Taking turns to task the trials,
On God's robe, our hands cleave—
Right resources, real rewards.
Personal prayer is a personal charging
A cellphone can't stay long for use
There comes a time the bar becomes red
You have to charge it to be useful again
Sometimes, we get weak to realized God
True strength is spiritual in nature
We need to charge ourselves to gain power
By personal prayer we are recharge again.
Morning breaks in upon my bed
welcome thoughts stir this sleepy head
banishing fear, dismissing dread.
Summoning sparkles in my eyes,
on waking up, daybreak supplies
hope-filled words, "Look to the skies!"
And I thank Jesus as I rise.
He hears the prayers I pray each night.
My Savior dawns with strength and light.
I love you Lord with all my might;
I trust you, God and your insight.
Good New Day Beloved
Father in darkness you are LIGHT.
We shine we awaken beautiful in your sight..
As we slept in your presence covered.
Thank you Father for life.
O' God for this new day we pray.
Pray for your continued love your strength this day.
Please grant us your wisdom and guidance
in everything we do today.
So that our words and actions will honor you.
Hallelujah
to God be the glory
your holy name in Jesus name
For Your Glory we pray
Amen

Written words by James Edward Lee Sr.2024
I’m ushered into a new day,
I walk along its path,
As I long to be embraced by its elements,
I pray to find the door to the light of redemption.
Nothing is within my strength to accomplish,
I’m like a turbulent sea,
Hoping to find tranquillity in the day I’m privileged to see,
I pray, Lord, for rest from my chaotic thoughts.
How do I know if my devotion carries a worthy fragrance?
I’m just clay seeking acceptance from the Potter,
I’m only dust yearning for a place in the palm of the Immortal One,
I desire to drink from the river of Your pleasure, O Lord.
How can I change the tide?
I’m encumbered, entangled, and entwined,
O Lord, hear my deepest cries,
Bring me into Your light as I draw close to You.

When life’s been pillaged of calm
I yearn for welcome release
Somewhere far beyond life’s qualms
To know solace and deep peace
I build castles in the sky
Where I retreat now and then
I build castles in the sky
But I never move in
I go there to think and pray
Where no one can breach a thought
A safe place to steal away
And ponder what God has wrought
My castles are of brief worth
Short escapes from tough battles
Encountered here on this earth
‘Fore bang of heaven’s gavel
I build castles in the sky
Where I retreat now and then
I build castles in the sky
But I never move in
“ Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1,NIV
-----------------------------------------------------------------
I Trust Him, He will lead my way
I Love Him, He will not fail
I Know Him, He will keep me safe
I Praise Him, I feel peace within
In weakness, I ask for strength
In despair, I ask for hope
In pain, I ask for relief
In fear, I ask for His presence
I focus on Him, when in doubt
I wait on Him, for guidance
I surrender wishes to His will
I have faith on Him, I believe
Through His kindness, I see
Through His grace, I breathe
Through His glory, I feel
In His holy shadow, I live
Shackled with no name
Been a Slave far too long
Always without fail
Blocked out
Praying to the Heavens
How long?
The Sun beats high and strong
I have been told I don’t belong
I have educated my mind
Read books of endless chapters
Darkened theory
Beaten and torn
How Long?
Night skies being my Race in the day
I run but it is like slow motion
I try to cry but no tears drop
Created from High above
Heaven to think of
Goodness and purpose
How Long?
Dignity and Pride
When will it Truly Arrive?
Determination on whole
God being my threshold
Looking for a Blessing
When?
Tremble and Scare
No one wants to listen nor care
The foundation is on my shoulders
Strength to withstand
All on God’s land
The world sees only what they see
There is no freedom
Trapped within a square and circle
Stuck in but can’t get out
I must bear
Praying, praying and endless praying
Trying to be still and wait
Within is a hesitate
One day the moment, I will be free
A world that shall be judged
Tomorrow will finally arrive
A glorious kingdom and togetherness shall be
Hallelujah Shout
God will brought me out.
While I struggle to see her point of view,
I feel the need to share her truth
When she left the room, feeling dark blue
I could see pain’s shadow in her youth
While I silenced the source of my regret
I felt her dreams stifled by distress
When the tears came, she’d not forget
I thought of the feelings I couldn’t express
While I still see her heart, worn on her sleeve
I feel like she might have won some victory
When she walked away, hearts would grieve
I see how this consequence is so contradictory
While I slowly call to the One who saves
I feel like she must know the light of grace
When she left the past behind, in quiet graves
I knew there was a promise of hope to embrace
While I don’t expect to have the chance to explain
I felt like the Son had splashed love everywhere
When she let go, gave into the darkest pain
I understood her sorrow as I bowed my head in prayer
At the Mount of Olives, in a garden called Gethsemane
Jesus asked His friends, “Please, will you all stay here and pray with me?”
It was after supper and He knew His time would quickly come
So, He prayed for strength to do the things that He knew should be done.
He looked at His friends and found that they had all fallen asleep
So, they did not see His sorrow and His pain ran very deep.
“Can you not keep watch,” He said, “And stay awake a little while?
Pray to God with all your heart that you’ll not undergo the trial.”
He cried to His Father, time and time and time again did speak.
“Willing is the Spirit but the flesh is oh so very weak.
Father, take this cup from me before I freely drink my fill.
But, Father, not as I want, I come to do Your holy will.”
Ministered by angels, who came round to offer strength to Him,
From His brow the blood did flow, and pain racked Him in every limb.
Finally, the soldiers came and all His friends just ran away.
And then, by His own disciple, with a kiss He was betrayed…
