Notes About The Poem

During the hardest moments of my life, I have survived, only by God's mercy. I have fallen quite often. Then again, we don't run to God fixed. We all need repairs. I stand on my Father's Word and the Devil does not get to claim me. I am blessed by the family I have and the friends that have stood by me for decades. Even when they didn't have to. The Lord has been there through it all. He is my strength when I have none. He is the rock I can stand upon with His promises He made in the Bible.

I pray that all who read my poems find their way to God. He never promised there wouldn't be troubles on our paths. He promises that He will have our hand and be with us through them. My life is a survival guide to others who still suffer. God is using me for that. So, thank You, for all you have done, are doing, and will do with me for Your glory and for my good. Use me however you need me.

In Jesus' precious and holy name,

AMEN!

Satan Never Wins

I am stronger than you can ever be.
Satan will not get to take hold of me.
I stand in the light when you try to hide in the darkness.
I see your plan before you even know what I harness.
Your attempts to beat me down
Are not stronger than the strength He sends down.
The spirit is in my heart,
Jesus bore my scars,
God armors me.
He knows you will always try but you misunderstand,
All I must do is call out His name
And you will only be able to bend your knee
And you will flee from my mind by His hand.
For the Father has already drawn the line in the sand.
I stand on the rock that is my God
And you, Satan, will take heed,
You will be gone.

Hello Hannah, Welcome as Premium member Yes, we are all broken. Romans 3:23 puts it succinctly. I know I was broken. Excellent poem
