My Prayer For Today

Lord give me strength to face this day,
Help me overcome whatever comes my way.
Let my countenance always showcase a glow,
because I’ve been blessed, others I’ll show.
As I survey fields and I see much sadness,
give me a mindset that sees only gladness.
I need your wisdom to get things right,
from sinful things Lord, protect my sight.
Make my tongue clean in the words I say,
help me be your witness, Dear Lord, I pray.
Lord, I’ve been blessed beyond any number,
please give me peace when I ready to slumber.
