I cried out to God on bended knee
I listened as He prayed over me
That prayer made all the difference
Yes indeed it set me free
Now set free I am so joyful
All the day long I sing His praises
Lifted high above the heavens
He's with me all of my days
Father please forgive me
I've not prayed to You today
The only way that I can say
I deserve Your love this day
Is to open up my bible
And read the words in red
Feel Your presence, Holy Ghost
And then my spirit will be fed
I prayed
the gift came in the mail.

who touch

Tattoo my tongue with candy kisses
that pour into my heart like fine wine
Caress me dear wide as the atmosphere
With a red quilted touch in time
Sway with me as we dream
singing our favorite songs
Stay with me despite challenging
Teal times that go wrong
When I cry let us decide
that empathy helps me heal
When I try to run and hide
You pull me close help feel deal
Oh my love how could you trust
My Sagittarius red fire ways?
It must be you I prayed for who
would be my man of faith.
Thunder Eyes
Thunder in her eyes,
cut me me down to size,
lightning in her mind,
she seemed to be a bit unkind.
Then she did amaze,
when she said "you're just going through a phase".
with all the dues I've paid,
I've finally found the one for whom I prayed.

Some of which are not so easily broken
I don’t hate you, but I do hate your sin(s)
I don’t dislike you, but your wrong/choice your behavior

I prayed for joy
God sent me a rainbow
Sunshine light and crimson truths
Awakening my soul to shine
As bright as the dawn
I prayed for faith
God sent me pure grace
To sustain me when I pray
And when I can’t find a way
To say what I need to say
I prayed for hope
God sent me a warmth
That abides inside my soul
Coloring my world in thoughts
Of innocence, inspiration, insight
I prayed for love
God sent me a single smile
Gifted me with the pleasure of one
Who knows that the world is alive
Thriving with the dance of life
I prayed for blessings
God sent me a sense of acceptance
Of all that I encounter
Be it trial, worry or failure
He gives me His direction
I prayed for knowledge
God sent me wisdom from on high
A feeling that I could find the strength
To reach beyond my weakness
Into the heart of deepest peace
I prayed for insight
God sent me a pang of regret
A knowing that I had been selfish
With my prayers for all of these things
And I prayed… for someone else
God answered my prayers
With His gift of fulfillment
I wasn’t taught to pray for you
I wasn’t sure what I should do
I didn’t know I could’ve prayed
As you’re lying near your death
I watched you take your final breathe
I didn’t know I could’ve prayed
I sat there with you by your side
I knew that you were soon to die
I didn’t know I could’ve prayed
I’m watching you deteriorate
I didn’t know how long it’d take
I didn’t know I could’ve prayed
The cancer slowly took you over
I watched you as your eyes got lower
I didn’t know I could’ve prayed
You talked to me with spoken words
Then your words could not be heard
I didn’t know I could’ve prayed
I think that I was just in awe
You never made it to grandpa
I didn’t know I could’ve prayed
We buried you that rainy day
I didn’t wipe a tear away
I didn’t know I could’ve prayed
I think of how you’re really gone
Time will heal as we move on

Although you’re gone, I know you’re here
I strongly feel your presence near
And now I know, I’ll always pray
I prayed for you FOR US TO BE TOGETHER--
Will you love me?
For I am worthy;

For I am of God;
I prayed for you for us to be together
If you just stand still;
Allow it to be His will;
In your subconscious you will believe;

My love for you is created free;
You could love me;
For God says it’s okay;
I may not be in your site the right one;
To appeal to your heart strings;
But let go and let it ring;

Those whispers you’re hearing;
For in those sweet soft-soft quiet tones;

I am yours as per my prayers to God;

I prayed again today
That the pain would go away
And leave me satisfied
Making good for what had been denied
But silence was all I heard
With no relief from what had occurred
For truth is fickle you know

I prayed till I touched Heaven,
I got the victory that night.
When God heard my cry he said,
“Child trust me, I am the light…”
I know your life and your cares,
and I know just what to do.
If you trust me I’ll give Grace,
enough to see you through.
My Grace is sufficient for everything
that you will have to bear.
With every temptation you will face,
a way of escape will be there.
Just look for that way I’ve made,
