I Prayed

Seems like yesterday I prayed
It seems like every day the same
I prayed
And I may ask what I may
you say
So I prayed
for the people
I prayed
for the steeple
I prayed
For humanity
And for every single living creature and thing
I stayed as I watch my life pass away
It seems like just yesterday
It seems like every day the same
They say
I must be still and receive it in Jesus name
Don't no I won't let it be void
I want to be found innocent and not inflamed
It seems like every day the same
