Economic Crisis - Finding a Way

(07/21/11)

They asked: who do we turn to
When the politicians no longer care?
And the word change is flying in the air.
Every country, every island, every nation
Is feeling this devastation.
Only 10% of the world-are well to do
But they’ve forgotten about me and you.

90% of the world population
Are the only ones who care
But the other 10% their power and wealth
They do not want to share.

No one wants their countries torn apart
They love it - soul and heart.
They are tired of being the victims
In this unjust world, and it affects
Every person- down to our boys and girls.

We know the politicians can not
help every one in distress
But stop lining your pockets
Give it a rest.

All the public wants is a fair share
Give them that - show them you care.
If the public was to stop buying
For a day or a week
The ripple affect would reach its peak.

Unfortunately this will affect the small people
Who are trying to earn a living.
They know this, and that’s the reason
They’re not giving.
What is the solution to this world crisis
I can not say- but billions of minds
working together - they can find a way.

Premium Member Outing a Spy

Many put up a front and try to hide from the world how vulnerable they have got.
Me, I put up a front and try to hide from the world how vulnerable I am not.
Damn, I just outed myself to my own dismay
just like Cheney did to that chick in the CIA.
Outing a spy? That's no longer anymore treason?
Did I mention that she was one of our spies whose cover Cheney had blown?
Valerie Plame's career ended immediately
after former vice president and traitor "Dick" Cheney
blew her cover as a CIA agent by allowing a leak.
Valerie Plame, her family and her loved ones lives were now all endangered
now that her CIA covert cover had been leaked, displayed and discovered.
I must ask again,
"Is that no longer treason
when one exposes worldwide a covert spy of CIA intelligence?"

Popping Seams

Values.
The glue of society.
Morals.
The stitches of community.

These are the things
that hold a world together
But in the age of greed and corruption
The stitches
Made of goodness
That hold our world together
Are popping seams.

Johnny Got His Gun

Your patriotism leaves meat for the dogs,
Your religious hope has left a carcass for the road.
Pay your country with patriotism,
“Johnny grab your gun! ”
Now the world has a hero,
Rotting dead by the millions.
Defend the righteous from the infidels,
Grab your guns and rack lead straight through the flesh.
Now the world is safe for your Christ,
Now we can worship Allah in peace.

You did your religious duty,
You did your patriotic crap,
You slashed your way to power,
And left behind miles of bodies to rot and sour.

Look at the hero,
He murders for fame.
The religious senselessly bought his gain,
Though genocide was they’re game.
But it’s ok,
God ordered the blood to drain,
It takes the guilt away
Just to know that democracy is safe for gain.
A rotting carcass is a small price to pay,
Now the patriots can have they’re fame.

“Johnny grab your gun,
Become a hero and have some fun.”
A shell explodes, and his body scatters and runs,
But all that matters is that Johnny got his gun.

After the News--The Darker Side

After truly listening to all the discussions decided to delete even the world weary darker side,
return to meditation and to listen, to listen. For it seems too often in this world the very best are the darker side's victims. Though I cannot say the greed and lack of empathy I see and hear do not create concern. And there is so much work to do to protect the sick, the weak and the very air we breath. That dark side born of fear and frustration is meant to give us warning. Perhaps what must be done to acknowledge the darker side is to teach and learn, teach and learn.

Fire With Fire

The world is burning.
Fall asleep.
Dream.
Nightmare.

You wanna know what I've been through?
Been through pain you can't undo.

The world is burning.
Inhabitants of graves turning
Sky falling
Stars aligning
It's my time for revenge.

We've been a quiet mouse for too long
The oppressive world was far too strong
We couldn't speak out in our fear
And now our time for vendetta draws near.

You wanna feel our chains?
They've been tightly shackling our brains.

The rising of the Standing One is clear
In a world of injustice and evil, he will soon appear
Revolt and overthrow the tyrants
Fight fire with fire.

We will destroy currency
The root of all evil and lunacy.
We will free the world from its prison
Unite all races in schism.
Replace the crooks we have as dictators
Erase those who turned our world into craters

We will extinguish the fires
Subdue the liars
Establish a just system
Become a righteous kingdom.

And we will all Stand as one
And establish the utopia we dreamed about.

Dreamed.
Dream.
Now awake.
Utopia? No such thing. I'm dreaming again.
The world will continue to burn
With no end, and no return.

Premium Member None Dare Call It a Conspiracy

The New World Order. Secret societies,
but none dare call it a conspiracy.
You may think you're well informed politically.
You keep up with the world listening to the news on your radio or TV,
but it's only really the puppets that you hear and see
and not the puppet masters behind the scenes,
but none dare call it a conspiracy
otherwise you'll be labeled a Conspiracy Nut just like me.
None Dare Call It A Conspiracy,
is an underground book that worldwide governments don't want us to read
and perhaps many shouldn't. Many may be better off living ignorantly
about the conspiracy that exist today but None Dare Call It A Conspiracy.

Premium Member Colonial Skyline

From the heart of their country to a new world they did sail
Over an expanse of ocean through storms and gales
They settled in New Amsterdam, this Dutch colonial place
To create a new world in their progressional space

Many years later after conflicts took their toll
New York was born, under British control
The gate to this city is passed by a lady so proud
A gift from the French, freedoms torch raised to her clouds

The Big Apple, this city in the year 2001
Where infidels and cowards tried to bring this gem down
But deep from their depths from the loss of their Twin Towers
Feel its heart and strength, its unity powers

Keep Your Coins, I Want Change

I wanted to wake the world from its slumber.
To make it see it lived in its nightmares
not the dreams it thought.
The reality waiting behind those closed eyelids.
The wars,
the poverty
the anger and fear
but the corrupt sing their lies
disguised inside their lullabies.
Somehow they comforted us to sleep, and keep sleeping
I wanted to wake the world from its induced coma,
ignorance is not bliss forever.
"Wake up" I sang, but their ears were deaf
they would not wake.
Had they died?
Had we all waited
much too long
and done permanent damage?
I passed a bum on the corner
he met my gaze and held up his sign
I read "Keep your coins, I want change."
Wake up.

Historical Heros

What's up with all this hatred in the world?
Off the top of my head I can name at least three people that could always see the "big
picture."
Dr.King used his knowledge and his speaking abilities to persuade people to become one.
Rosa Parks endured hardship just 'cause she sat in the front of the bus.
Malcolm X preached with authority and truancy.

Oops, I guess I can name four 'cause Michael loved the trees.
I'm not talking about the basketball star but the one who I always pray to before I dance.
I feel like I owe something to them but I always screw up.

I can make anything happen in my head but when it comes to words, It's better to let
Motormouth say the words in a two second story.
Why is it that no one kid WANTS to remember these names?
They were key players in this world in trying to make the world a better place.

"Yes we can" is what Obama said but are our hearts content?
We still do the idiotic things we did before but at least we don't have Bush to encourage
our rage.

Bankers + Bullets

bankers bank bonuses

the world is in chaos

it is chaotic because they created

                                            chaos carelessly

children starving dying

disease
             famine

    but banks and bankers benefit

government bailouts

is this the sort of world we live in

                   disgusting

backs against the wall

          bullet in

        their brains

bangBang bangbangbang

BANG BANG

Premium Member Will Our Neighbourhoods Ever Be Safe Again

The day will come soon
As our safety ceases to exist
Mans determination
In his killing persists

Street crime is rising
To feed the life of drugs
Many people are afraid
Of these sick cowardly thugs

Society needs to change
Addressed by the powers that be
The ones that have been elected
In trust, by you and me

We need to change the rules
Prison sentences need to be revised
If your prepared to deal in drugs
Twenty years looks good in my eyes

Then it comes to murder
Where many citizens, they fall
But their killers are alive in prison
Their breathing, their living through it all

The world has so much compassion
It's time to channel it's feelings
No forgiveness for these scum
Execution, watch their feelings reeling

Compassion has to have passion
For the right to get rid of the wrong
And just maybe one day it will happen
As the whole world sings the same song

The chances of this happening
As they are sworn into government places
They stand proud to ask for our votes
Once elected, they appear to have two faces

New World Order?

the lies are fed to us every day
we take them as truth and go on our way
no one dares to question any authority
not a soul brave enough to make an inquiery
conspiracy buried beneath us
by the corrupt leaders above us
no hard evidence or conviction brought forth
along with the worthless media not proving their worth
unveil this plot and the masterminds behind it
seek out the truth and press for needed justice
free the world from the "new world order"
before we are pressed to the border
to the border of extinction
only select few are allowed to continue existance
it can be stopped all we need is a will
no need for torture, theft, or to kill
just prove them wrong
show them you were right all along
they will decay within themselves
then they will disappear into the firery pits of hell
for the mark of the beast has entered their flesh
thus their damnation will begin so they can join the rest

The Desperate

The world is not my maker.
The logic it decrees.
When I can’t see the burning forest
For the flaming trees.

I long to fix its problems,
In this my desperate plea:
The rich don’t care for those who live
In crushing poverty.

I long to lose this baggage,
That hangs beneath my eyes.
It threatens to corrupt my faith
Through those whom I despise.

The world is not my oyster,
If only this I knew.
I’m just some guy who writes his poems;
There’s nothing I can do.
