Impending Doom

Cup does runneth
over, rhyme inside'a
me at last, was
barren and so
empty til inside
there drops a
splash,

of rich poetic
potions mixed with
collard greens and
hash, let's picture
hours after the
economy has
crashed.

The whole world
saw it coming on
our back;
impending doom,
so don't believe the
newsroom talk of
how it's ending
soon,

it's not just pipin hot
it's burnin 3 degrees
from noon, but won't
be real until you
hear this nation
sing the blues.

We'd lose the
government's
assistance, it would
be no joke, the
unemployment,
welfare food stamps
gone, there'd be no
hope,

come slice this
mental Wonder
bread then sit and
eat a loaf, there
wouldn't be much
growth around at all
to feed the folks.

The homeless
though do lay their
heads by where I
catch the train, the
richest country in
the world can't help
them, that's a
shame,

but multiply the
handful by the
millions that'll hang,
their heads in
shame with no
economy, yo that's
the game.

The President's
approval ratings
dwell where cellars
be, the days
of 'meat for dinner'
gone, no sales on
celery,

and that's for those
of us who're
blessed with God's
defining truth, or go
out like the 30s
where we'd stand in
line for soup.

A real life 'Book Of
Eli', ain't no gas to
run the cars, your
feet would beat
retreats in cold and
heat to run you far,

in fact if the
economy did end
up true deceased, I
guarantee you'd find
those selling kids
for food to eat.

The loss of all
morality heats up
like yellow sand, to
witness inhumanity
defeat your fellow
man,

brutality and
savag'ry would grip
this very land, to
have the cleanest
water or a bit of
DairyLand.

It then would turn to
war amidst the
races and the
creeds, Apollo died
while boxing, folks
like that are safe
and free,

majority's priority,
minorities would fall, they'd
light us up Paul Mall
in other words they'd bomb
us all.

Scenarios are
worse case but I'm
not that wrong at
all, so fellas stuffing
dollars in the
thongest of the
draws,

and ladies who just
live to go and ball
out at the mall,
enjoy it, stand up
tall and pray to God
it all don't fall.

Speechless!!!

“That dream only needs a speech to bring about the change the world has been waiting for,
never be speechless no matter what; you have something to say...”
 Felix Joseph.o

SPEECHLESS!

A feeling contends to conquer me
Perhaps, I wanting to defeat it
Indeed, my irritability of the obvious
My contest to make it plain, baffles me
My best try,
 Fry me to cry
Helpless my mouth
It cries echoes is speechless

When truth mutates to odium
Falsehood applauded as in a stadium
Avalanche of wrongs
Beaten into a compendium
Corruption celebrated in ovation
Justice, yet foreign in a nation
In reckless abandon,
The games rule is impunity
Flaunting absurd rights as immunity
Shame like a name
Honored as fame

Speaking the more
They have colonized the peak
Your audio, print and visual ranting
Concludes you an ant
A pens ink, as tears
Their brick hearts, quickly ignores
What then unlocks their hearts mystery?
Power emitting from the army’s canon?
Perhaps, the pens might
May cause a rethink
Yes a reflection amidst the stink
Confronts all loudly

Speechless is the act of the feel
Yet, still I dare to make a speech
A speech for my compatriots
A speech desiring a change
Yes! A speech to propel the speechless
Am speechless, yet not lacking in speech
Speechless is all it makes me feel
A speech can break the chains
Being speechless is not a gain
It germinates pain, like rain

Speak and rule the peak
Roar to unseat the freak
Shout and alarm the weak
Sing a tune, their hearts will break
Cry, your tears may cajole compassion

Yes! A speech ushers the change
The villains abhor a change
Truly, a speech moulds them speechless
A speech a world desire
Lacking in speak, all backfire
yet a speech will save the day?

Why speechless?
Just a speech of change will unveil the dream
yes! A dream for real change.

The Cross and the Lance...Pt.1

The human experience fulfilling sensation,
our environment is our creation,
not ours originally, but ours to maintain,
natural system,needs are sustained...

Everybody has a bell that rings
cellular vibration,in song it sings,
a siren song enchanting desire
a high which takes you higher and higher...

The world is full of it's rising stars
untapped potential which takes them far,
it also has it's falling stars too,
a world of fools,a world of ruin...

A new portal behind every door
a gambit of play being explored
every encounter a game of chance, but,
what do you bear, the cross or the lance ?

The relic spear a source of power
Imperial thrones built up their towers
from Constantine to Charlemagne,
the Byzantine to the Lorraine...

All just sequels of transformation
preceding was laid their emulation
enacted improvements instituted
system of governing constituted...

All in hope to outlast the past,
relay race,a passing of the staff,
still only bond by popular opinion
confounded by those noxious minions...

The eastern hemisphere full of rage
they crossed the Atlantic to disengage,
but,in their scope,they brought disease,
methodology which didn't appease...

The red west never got a true chance
as invaders stormed behind their lance,
Montezuma welcomed with open arms,
soldiers of fortune brought firearms...

Indigenous people filled their plantation
others were chained to fulfill fruition,
Noble's became Don's,others slavemaster,
chain of events was still a disaster....

From fuedalisms fortune of birth
circumstance directed self-worth
peasantry suffered tilling the soil
while others got fat from plundered spoils...

Premium Member I'D Like a President Who'D Govern America

They all seek our votes and promise change when they are elected,
And to correct the follies of their predecessors, but just as we expected,
Once they attain that exulted office and the trappings they deem are due,
They feel they have to govern the world and not the likes of me and you!

They traipse about this troubled orb seeking fame and adulation,
Forgetting that their first responsibility is that of caring for this nation!
They're generous with our money - never mind that we need the money here,
To care for our homeless, jobless and hungry who need that help so dear!

They involve us in senseless wars, sapping our precious blood and treasure!
Alas, orphans and widows are left to wonder why - so sad by any measure.
They strive to solve the problems and get involved in other nations' affairs,
Wouldn't it be swell if they stayed at home and attended to our cares!

Some seem concerned about redefining and protecting borders of other nations.
Gee, wouldn't it be novel to protect our country's borders from illegal violations!
Some seem more concerned about protecting terrorists' constitutional rights!
Never mind that they killed many innocent folks with those horrendous flights!

Seems to me that Presidents have enough to worry about here at home,
Rather than trying to solve other nations' plights as about the world they roam!
They'd find enough to keep them busy here if they'd take the time to look.
I'd like a President who'd govern this nation in accordance with the oath he took!

World Wide Wacky Dot Leaders Dot Nut

Let’s look at our wars, rebellions,
riots and disturbances
which have been burning our world up till now.
Baghdad, Jerusalem, Gaza, West Bank, Mindanao,
Ambon, Aceh and many other places in the world
have been burnt out.
So much blood has shed
Too many lives have lost in vain
What have we really been looking for?
What have we really been showing off?
Looking for an honor?
Keeping world peace?
Reaching a glory?
Winning a victory?
Showing off patriotism, nationalism?
Striving for jihad or the spirit of religion?
No. Absolutely not
We have not been doing anything of the sorts
but for our own sake only,
that is to satisfy our evil passions.
We have, of course, found nothing except
bigger and bigger hatred which spread
all around the world
We have exactly showed off nothing except
our greed to own what other people own.

Let’s look at again and again
the crashes our doings have resulted,
the chaos our actions have caused.
People, children and women who are innocent
have been killed by our bullets, missiles and bombs
Let’s ask our inner heart some questions:
Is that in a fair way to reach our world peace?
Is that in a fair way to unite our mankind?
Is that also in a fair way to affirm our humanity?
We all certainly will answer at once :
No. Absolutely not
(But of course
who is the man will plead himself his insanity …
None!
We are all in fact though.
(It is exactly we all who have become insane.)

Political Greed

(07/09/11)

The world is changing and so are we
We are reaching the stage of poverty
Times are harder and prices are climbing
But our wallets are really declining.

How do you tell a politician who has
Money in the bank that we’re on the
Road to bankruptcy, when beyond
Their nose they can not see.

How do you get out of the coffin
That they have made, when your
put inside a grave.

How do you open up that coffin door
When fresh air you can’t breathe any more.
When that latch is closed so tight
And you try to open it with all your might.
This my friend is an ugly sight.

People all over the world are asking for change
And the politicians are the ones to blame.
They think of them selves and the almighty dollar
While the public screams and hollers.

Some times I wonder if going back
To the times of bartering
Is the key- to get out of poverty.

I have what you want and you
Have what I need, and no
Middle man in between.

You make clothing and I make shoes
Let’s just exchange and no one will lose.
There has to be an end in sight
We are tired of this constant fight.

We must open up their eyes
For to our needs they are blind.

Let them live in the slums of any
State that they choose, then they
Will see how much they lose.

Give them that challenge and you will see
They can not live in poverty.
Not one of them will reverse that role
Because it’s too hard and much to cold.

"let Freedom Reign"

Let freedom rain like the drops from the sky
Let freedom reign it was said but to me it’s a lie

What does it mean to be free?
In this world free is of an idea
Not reality so in all actuality how can freedom reign

Free: not enslaved or held captive
Enjoying personal rights and liberty
But the truth is that I pay for the air
That I breathe I literally live for a fee

In a world where potent politicians
Navigate words persuasively
Covering up the corrupt
Just to keep it away from me, away from we

See they give us no choices
This comes with no explanations
And they can curve any path they want
With no direct destination

Yet still in a world where every boy & girl
Wants to be an entertainer or famous an actor or actress
And supposedly this is the land of the free
But yet I’m caged paying taxes

And I see the white collar worker trapped in his castle
Mugging us and bugs to us as if we are a hassle
So he digs in my pocket trying to profit
And it’s illegal to stop it so I just sit what a look that is baffled

It’s like their robbing us blind
But we clearly can see it
Because we see between the lines
But between the lines we don’t read it
So that means they keep feeding

The land of the free where gas a gallon is a dollar plus three
The land of the free where candidates are uttering trust me
But there must be a way for a change
But until that day just “LET FREEDOM REIGN”

The (Not-So-Great) Bailout of 2008

Gather round children,
 as I tell the tale,
Of how all the banks
 started to fail.
About how the government
 bailed out the rich,
Rather than the poor,
which would have been a switch.

People were greedy,
 for something called cash,
Brokers on Wall Street had plenty,
so what they did seems rash.
And so they started
 robbing regular people blind.
That's how America (and the World)
 got into a bind.

The banks began approving loans for homes,
 to anyone who might need.
The value would go up,
 and you could re-mortgage indeed.
People started spending
 what they never had.
The way money was their religion
 was awfully sad.

People would spend thousands of dollars,
On luxury items and diamond rings,
While poor children went without
 food, braces and things.
The world was on a bubble
 about to break.
Still banks pushed loans and investments
 with ratings that were fake.

The economy crashed
 like a run away train.
Regular people watched as their savings
and retirement went down the drain.
The president and congress
 fearing another crash,
put together
a bailout plan fast.

They reasoned, if we don't fix the economy
 the whole ship will sink.
"You don't understand," they claimed
the world is on the brink.
And so the government taught future generations,
 handing (the rich) a bone,
That's it's okay to spend
 more than you own.

The 2012ers

you know them
probably had a talk with one or two of them
maybe
just
maybe
you are one of them
be it something you wear on the outside for everybody to
see
or something you hold inside
a deep hope
that everything will soon end
so that your own personal struggle will be over
& mixed with a complete apathetic nature
given your surroundings as a functional
human
this is one scary thing
my friend.

there are those that have conversations with friends, family &
coworkers
in which the end result of the conversation is
“well, it doesn’t really matter---because the world is gonna end in 2012”
& there are people giving money to lobbyists who on their behalf
try to push our congressmen for more war in the middle east
in order to
bring about
“the rapture”
because apparently little ol’ jesus can’t come back on his own.

the 2012’ers want the mayans to be right
the mayans,
whose prophecy never stated that
the end of the world was coming
whose own calendar was just that---
a calendar
and all the new age spiritualists
follow in suit
there is gonna be a GREAT change they say
come a few days before that famous fictional baby’s
b-day.

i wish these individuals put as much energy that they do in wishing for the end,
in preparing for the end,
in hoping and on their knees
praying for the end---
in trying to make the present better.

Cataclysmic Change

Do you see the dark clouds coming, a menacing in the air
Do you hear the voices of many saying who shall hear
Do you feel your own heart beating erratically and loud
For we know what is ahead of us will soon twill bring us down.

Oh Babylon, Oh Babylon, your destruction must repeat,
History upon history it must complete
Time is shortening, that time again is so near
The trumpet is blowing in our ears

We’ve been watching, We’ve been hearing
Many decades now gone by
Like sheep to the slaughter
No one to turn the tide

We’ve been talking with no avail
The world enmeshed in our sorrow, connected we have become
Money’s hemorrhaging, greed’s belaboring
Strangers from a estrange places to bail us out

With these uncertain alignments
Indebted we’ve become
Powers exchanging, soon retreating
No longer number one

Once a great country free yes and brave
The glory days are over now for times have changed
Is there an answer we have yet come upon?
To halt this spinning wheel

In our desperation what answer will we take?
We’ve been primed we’ve been prepared
New World Order is becoming our fare?
Time will tell just watch and see.

So keep watching and keep praying

Some things must surely come to pass

Remember, our only hope is in Him who forever will last.
