Sun down in Death Valley
The memory of white branded heat
Falls away so fast
Dissolving in flashes of sagebrush shadows
The long flat bands of sand
Submerged in desert darkness, the sky
A wall of impassive indigo
The moon a ghost, ancient
When the sun was young
To walk this vast
Wind pricked emptiness
Is to feel the grim beauty of nature
As our dust parched pioneers did
As windows of timeless reverence
Here is abandonded the
Plushy comforts of convenience
Here, the night gives you nothing
But silence and stars

Blow down the snozzle
this windy wild world
is nowt but a hornswoggle.
Giddy are the blue birds
in head and heart,
blithered are the bush-beating
snit-shifters.
A good day to die and live again,
a day for tripping a bright bombastic.
A yet better day
for some nonsensical boggle
that wags words in a
beery muddle.
Fluffy are the puffy footloose
that skip well over a plushy clover,
great the laughter of children
that dance in the minding eye
of an everlasting God today.

a green forest canopy and all that lies beneath
all the beauty one adores right between the eyes
soaring birds, strong eagle wings, swooping trees
emerald ferns and fairies, full of fairy dust
all the beauty one adores right between the eyes
chanterelle mushrooms thriving in a rich black soil
emerald ferns and fairies, full of fairy dust
hippogriffs and unicorns, thestral horse's tail
chanterelle mushrooms thriving in a rich black soil
aside a four leaf clover lucking it in plushy style
hippogriffs and unicorns, thestral horse's tail
pedestrians with smiles following the trail
aside a four leaf clover lucking it in plushy style
Alice wanders bout the Hatter and the grinning cat
pedestrians with smiles following the trail
hopping like jack rabbits down the rabbit hole
Alice wanders bout the Hatter and the grinning cat
soaring birds, strong eagle wings, swooping trees
hopping like jack rabbits down the rabbit hole
a green forest canopy and all that lies beneath.

It was a sizzling summer of electric blues and vibrant hues
in a garden full of flowers inked in plushy spanking reds
a wall of buttress wood splashed with vines of green
a purple morning glory with a touch of dewy sheen
over by a mossy pond a mandarin duck of orangey blue
The sun turns amber like a big fat shimmering coin of gold
in a sky that often blushes fuchsia, pink, by a cloud's enfold
emerald blades of grass behind a white striped skunk
a gradient shade of orange, from a Siberian chipmunk
here by the royal blue bench, a vibrant peacock fans bold
It is a season of rainbow colored rain and red electric trains
in a terrace full of trellises of white, roses bright as Spain
blooming with vigor inside my bright oasis
happily connected to a Revlon kiss,
of cherry berry merry, on a girl named Mary Lou Fontaine

A flower dances in the sunlight close to me
with with every breath I take, a tendril petal falls
across the fields of memory , a daisy still...
Emerald grass, plushy dreams
oh how my senses thrill,
when sweet upon thy scent of earth,
the memory takes its fill;
Mornings awakened, by the summer heat
as gentle as a touch, made up of little lace
Like everything that lives and breathes,
the tiniest of seed sprouting on the ground,
in the softest spaces, called my heart;
I find you in the sweetly blossoms,
encounter you in love and only love
while you nestle in my soul like dear agate
I come to meet you face to face,
and proudly name you, "Grace "

DEVIL AMONG US or just MANY FACES
Hebrew described Satan as adversary,
Not a sole individual that you should worry.
But they walk among us.
They talk among us.
Never noticed? I doubt it;
As they drop their despicable bomb among us.
Never faced one? It’s skeptical,
Check out the mirror; they born among us.
In our era, it's people with many faces preying on disgust.
Let you out to dry scathe or rust.
A face that you thought you can trust upon,
Turned out to be loathsome with a prosaic face on.
Nowadays Satan suits up to a comic character.
You don't know what cynicism you come across at the end of your vector.
Nocuous it is, being credulous on your side,
don’t trust me? Try yourself as long as you can abide.
So what to do? Just wondering never resolves,
A face to develop a character to evolve.
Make your heart an invincible fortress,
Bearing plushy reflection, discreet your clouds of distress.
And every time the verdicts on you;
With a grin on face see if it comply, else eschew.
Just like everyone else around in demise,
Go on conceal your face, not even devil can recognize.

What kind of lust is this?
Firey daggers of romance
Two-pronged on the table
Your heart at significant crossroads
Fearing he still grips the pulse of dreams
Believe me, when I come full bodied
My stance is definite
Along your quicksand embryo
We've danced through armaggedon
Reality and the pillows of thought
Plushy laid upon your sleeping grove
Watery graves in thrall beyond the ruminations of language
Music deftly played continues its vast beat
As you and I merge together

“Don’t water your lawn!”
They told me.
There’s a shortage of water and
we need to conserve.
Yet, I saw fire hydrants open
and water flowing like a spring.
Kids skipping and dancing
getting wet and cool.
“Don’t water your lawn!”
It came again on the news.
Driving down the street
I saw pretty gardens
in the median, with
underground sprinkling systems.
Setting off mist in the air,
drifting like clouds.
Yet, my lawn is dry,
and cries for water as it
fights against dying thirst.
Who made the rules?
As I drove, I saw people toasting
with glasses of lemonade.
Politicians drinking champagne
from long stemmed glasses.
The lawns at their homes
plushy green and neatly trimmed.
Yet, I’m told,
“Don’t water your lawn!”
Does it deserve to die,
or should I …?
