It Lifts, Defies Gravity
That great curving line
made of countless droplets
in shades of aquamarine
to showers of foaming white
it creates an opening
a cave where light can spin
then plummets down again
its passion has been spent
rolling gently to the shore
tumbling sand and shells
small remnant lives
then going back for more.

drowning within its own flood
angel of deaths scythe
shows not an ounce of mercy
reaps a twin flames love

Down the aisle, a princess draped in grace,
Tracing dreams upon silken white,
A smile, a beacon of love’s caress,
Yet shadowed whispers steal my light.
Down the aisle, a tale unfolds anew,
Of devotion woven, steadfast and bright,
Where laughter dances, where grief holds true,
Yet love remains, an eternal rite.
As I gaze, your radiance near divine,
Each step dissolves what once was mine,
And with the echoes of your vow’s decree,
Tears unfurl their silent plea.
Down the aisle, you crown his soul,
A victor claimed—his heart now whole,
While mine, adrift in sorrow’s wake,
Plummets deep as dreams forsake.
Farewell, princess, lost to fate,
May joy's embrace time consecrate,
As I depart, a wounded shade,
Yet wishing love for all you’ve made.

Depression is a canyon—deep, wide, and rugged.
It has a top; it has a bottom.
But there is a rocket that plummets to its depths,
With only a slow and arduous build to the top.
The canyon has an oasis,
But it is infested with arsenic.
A bright pink flower glows atop a cactus.
The glowing touch is beautiful,
But its needles are sharp—impaling, lingering.
Pain freezes time long after the touch is gone.
Sometimes, a visitor comes to the canyon
Not realizing the rocket ride they took,
Descending to the bottom.
Other times, a visitor falls
From their lofty perch—
Looking over and judging those inside.
Mirages of lifelines waver in the distance.
A ladder leans along the canyon wall,
But it does not begin to climb out of the hole—
It is only there to offer false hope.
Be careful around the edges.
They are more slippery than the imagination.
The edges shift, rotate,
Taunt and tease.
Be careful around the edges—
Because you never know
Exactly how deep the canyon is
Until you fall inside.

How many times have we met? I don't have thick skin
if I were to come under the needle of a vet;
barf would linger on clothes that aren't yet washed
down by the hose of a zoo attendant.
The span of your ears sweeping back the stench
I exude with perspiration, thanks, elephant.
My rumbly gut on your gut, your rotund barrel
takes us over Niagara Falls.
A cold, yet steamy mist can exit rage.
A friendliness plummets over me where I stand
too drunk to squirm and go visit my girl.
I turn and want to unlatch my cage, bar
pressing my nose to what might be in store
not ready to eat hay nor sleep on the floor,
grateful that your prehensile
trunk can reach in the fridge and snag a beer.

I bid keeping my mind off the known calamity
A similar item year ago almost took my soul from me
It was only chump change, it didn't really matter
Pushing away the notions of the hearts that it would shatter
Another bidder and my confidence plummets
When suddenly last call blares out like trumpets
My demise in the form of a contract
Is swore and sealed by a pen that retracts

"Running through a mile of wasted compiled vile
I find myself conflicted sitting in a position
groaning I'm foul planting a seed of tan and brown
the snake comes out of me and it flees deposited manure
Gastly every movement is not pure, sometime it's deterred
so now I gravitate as I clasp my cheeks
out from the plummets from the tests intestinal ...
verbiage I'm not on my knees
Yet, yes I bow down bowel comes out of me
What I just planted was healthy indeed
it was a groupings of so many seeds
running in through my garden
or would you pardon
Me as I sit posture above a toilet
and now I let Go of the grouping for you see is my bowels moving
My waste has been displaced
into a porcelain throne filled with water clear
as I touch the handle it's spirals down
Maneuvered Manure
the tunnel to eventually become one with the sewer"

all repetition is intentional
"when"
when life seems darkening
when stumbles knock on doors
let the butterflies surround
when humpty dumpty plummets
when chaos shadows sun and moon
let their illumination through
when rain overflows
when cold remains
inside panes will blanket
remember to breathe
when faced with it all

Per drawn orphic sight, a ringed rainbow moon.
Feather swims in a vagrant squall, plummets,
burden bobbing outstretched like some mushroom,
spirals expel rippled waves pirouettes.
Aurora whisper opportune saffron,
forge balms beam strands to aerate crown's vastness,
errant gasp caught in raptured mist, lissome
Brief rain on lain shape of the gods vanish.
Pristine manna with a sigh midst hollow,
steep in prismatic poise purged euphoric.
Voice guides dulcet zephyrs to arousal.
Imagery caprices waft chimeric.
Vesper, yon the zenith of Terra's, take,
occasions a sign as moonglade o'er lake.

darkness plummets on twilight’s peak
cascading like a gentle creek
veiled by the night, I must confess
I’m puzzled by shadow’s caress
at times, confusion stills my hope
like climbing a slippery slope
fetches doubts that bring nervous stress
I’m puzzled by shadow’s caress
perplexed by the depth of my fears
feels like I’m lost when the smoke clears
drowning in the black, such a mess
I’m puzzled by shadow’s caress
uncertainty silences dreams
the thief, worry, goes to extremes
dimming beauty, bringing distress
I’m puzzled by shadow’s caress
baffled by the seas of dismay
turmoil that leads feelings astray
sometimes in life, more peace is less
I’m puzzled by shadow’s caress

Hear the soft pitter patter dancing off the roof?
A cleansing rain plummets the drain, offering
up its truth..
It sloshes streets and people's feet as it
clears the atmosphere.
Umbrellas swoosh, windshield wipers whoosh,
and life is slower here..
