a girl making pizza dream
her toppings make tastebuds scream
tomato tossed swirls
with cheese in great curls
queen of the epicure scene.
Divine and crunchy the pizzas that you serve,
Sweet the liqueurs I get but don’t deserve!
Your eyes are dark, and moist they are like dew,
Shooting darts with power to pierce me through.
Pardon please an odd and pious hope.
I think your case should come before the Pope,
I’m sure His Holiness would gladly canonize
One blessed with power to make those hot mince pies.
Strange thoughts have I while, waiting on this seat,
I see your smile before I taste the suite.
One Lou Malnati stood on the Elk Grove mound
Found a piece of gold on elevated ground
He changed it into flavor
The result of hard labor
'Well done', said all,' a pizzeria profound'
Today I’ll go to the galleria,
To shop for "small" precious beautiful things
A ring, a necklace, and a tiara,
That will totally pull at my heartstrings.
I’ll meet a friend at the pizzeria.
Before that, I have to get that new dress.
Shoes and bag to match - ala Senora,
My look, surely my friend will be impressed.
On my way to buy my favorite things,
A resplendent flower cloaked me with awe,
The stranger’s sweet smile meant everything,
Heartwarming was the gaze the lovers threw,
Utterly wonderful delights! Me thinks.
They are just simple, but beautiful things!

She said it so matter-o-factly,
that girl, Morgan Kay Ackley.
"One day it will be so
I'll be rolling in the dough!"
But being a pizza maker what do you mean exactly?
NOTE: This was another funny story at work. Not exactly my joke, but I turned into a limerick for laughter's sake. A girl was telling me about how she's be famous one day... how she'll be "rolling in the dough"... and I was like, "aren't you doing that already?"... Ooohh good times they were... good times.
It tastes like heaven, with dripping cheese,
Pizza tempts me like sorghum does bees.
Mouth is overwhelmed by the deliciousness,
I am completely allured by the lusciousness.
Delectable, scrumptious, mouth-watering;
With the Mozzarella cheese topping.
Pizzas are not meant to be eaten in haste,
They’re meant for satisfying the craving for taste.
Pizzas have a firm round doughy brown bread base,
Their aroma tempts me from every pizzeria pizza showcase.
A little salty with a gooey satisfaction,
Even novice eaters show a wonderful reaction.
The way one wants, one can toss;
And top it with vegetables and red sauce.
Some prefer cheesy, some prefer meaty,
Some prefer chewy, some prefer crunchy.
Be it a great connoisseur or a novice pizza eater,
Pizza has a standing on everyone’s food meter.
Starting earlier every year,
Christmas costs more and more with less cheer.
This year Santa fell flat.
His diet took the fat,
Elves said,” this will not be good” they fear.
Watching commercials, they got idea.
Close diners, except pizzeria.
Each ad on T.V. now,
Pictures of pizzas wow!
Santa gains, without diarrhea.
Ads worked, he got a jolly belly.
Elves solemnly sat in a deli.
Commercialized just right,
His red suit fit so tight,
They needed petroleum jelly.
This recession was a great idea
I've quit going to the pizzeria
I just don't eat anymore
Cause I am simply too poor
I can't even afford diarrhea
I entered the poetic cave.
Lit all the alliterations I could, so I could see.
I had hoped for a burlesque show, but settled on ordering a sausage canzone
from the pizzeria.
When I was in Vietnam, under Carpe Diem, he would often reflect on the visual
power of the Nazi Chatushka. I thought it was a cinqku, that if we went before the
Clerihew, the mob would not attempt to implant us in concrete.
As I watched him adorn his head with a crown of sonnets, the crystalline form of
the cave around us became evident.
I drove my Diamante outside in hopes of catching a prehistoric didactic take to
the air.
Sadly, my diminished hexaverse was overpowered by three Japanese martial
artist witches in their doduitsu.
I ordered a double dactyl, and downed it in one shot......
