pending, undecided
penalize, fine

can you be fined for being penniless?
or writing something penny dreadful?
or for being a penny- pinching miser?

Premium Member To my Quarterback

To my Quarterback,

We are first round draft picks, starters, ready to get off the bench and begin a new season.
We have tackled many problems in our lives and in our previous relationships, but we will not penalize each other from what happened in the past. Yes, there were some fouls in our past, some incomplete passes and some unnecessary roughness, but we don’t have to put our guards up for defense. This time around, we both are on offense.

The difference this time is that God is our Coach.
Therefore, there will be no blocked kicks, no onside kicks, no running offside, no personal fouls, no pass interference and no substitutes.

You threw the perfect pass (your heart), and no one was around, which left me wide open to receive it. I caught it and secured it gracefully.
I wasn’t going to fumble this one. I ran it in and that day we scored a touchdown.
You sweetheart are indeed a perfect catch.

You and I together are now on our way to the Championship, for we are undefeated!

                               Love Always,
                          Your Wide Receiver

That Blighted Rose

So plant it on that petrichoric soil in rows
As you bring at my funeral that pure ruby rose

And so? If I'm unable to perceive it's essence
Don't shatter either penalize it in a burst of incense

Then nourish it with spring warm water to lush
And let it expand on more roses to reserve for Mush

Thus let a lover pluck a part of them for his muse
So that I would cherish it's use and you can be excused

So allow it to make my cemetery more graceful in the graveyard
Indeed, my love , pick your favourite and have it in your yard

Let it bloom and thrive in the sight of your field
So that , I can be there for your eyes to be healed

And if you ever feel dull to look at them in the autumn
Rest your heart, dig them up and burry them in the bottom

Premium Member I, Speed Camera

I'm practically a ghost,
seldom seen.
I'm mounted on some traffic lights,
so ease up on the gas pedal!
You never notice me
unless your GPS is in use,
but I see you coming.
I never sleep on the job.
I see everything
day or night
rain or shine
I'm a road photographer.
I wonder why vehicles
never smile
when I take their pictures.
Perhaps they're angry
for their drivers as they know
a mailed citation letter
is a sure thing?
I'm a proud revenue cash cow.
I do not discriminate.
Rich or poor,
young or old,
I will penalize if
you exceed my speed limit!
Slow down road warriors,
or I'll bite a chunk
off your bank account!

Blatant Megaphone Misfits

Intoxicating sweat of misfits
Consuming your glowing banners
Robbing free information from the mansions
Settled silently in a tight space
Peddling sympathy, logic, and fate
I'm a poor boy with a dull toy

Don't penalize me for your mistakes
Dont enslave me with syrup dripping pancakes
In the heart of trivial bull*****mounds
The purest hounds will release their chains
Echoing dreams from raw sound chambers

With my megaphone blatantly displayed
Ill funnel the furry
Of this generations dead mercenaries
Those corporate baffled cocktail parties
What else to steal the banquet

Gossip peddlers employing
Data mining technicians
All the drama of man versus woman
Ensemble- nature has a date
With destiny

Guilty

Execution of love simply by the crimes committed by the heart
crimes of passion or lust where do we start?
heart racing anticipating the moment of death
setting it free with the last breath
penalize by the charges against thee
raping the emotion murdering of the soul screaming begging and pleading
how dare the heart allow for this to happen
robbery of thoughts even kidnapping
falling for the wrong consumed by another
careless behavior has sent him farther
so far gone there's no turning back
a thief in the night as understood based on fact
caught off guard loosing control of self
no one to guide no one around to ask for help
a social path desensitize from all feeling
unable to grasp or feel the heart beating
as these crimes that were committed
love is on the line the heart has admitted
a confession of reckless behavior
only death is the perfect savior
the heart deserves no defense
putting it out of misery will finally lay it to rest
buried six feet under ground
love no longer exist it will not be found
