Bountiful starlight reverbs with echoes
that fade but hold a bit of that drumfire.
Raising that whimsical smile even higher,
electric shadows cast a glow on your toes.
A sound you can’t place in the real world,
music that was bestowed from the Fey.
You wake and long to be whisked away
on a comet’s tail both pearled and curled.
High dollar melody delicately bouncing
like a wrist wrapped in celestial jewelry.
With a gaze at the sky’s rippling gallery,
three coin tossed wishes and counting.
Diamonds are on a roll hard as a rock,
playing your high hopes with sure strokes.
As if you really need any kind of a coax,
forever a girl in love with sidewalk chalk.

Deep down inside her earthen throat
God fashioned a pearled railroad...
Her freight train soul gifted the world
a bouquet of thorns and blue hearted roses.
An existence of devilish fire and heavenly rain
Shot glasses of needles and stem rose champagne.

I bought the world.
Can you see where the merchant likes to sit?
I wanted to buy, that strange thing that pearled.
I offered my heart
but it wasn't enough.
So, I offered my spirit,
for they should never be apart.
But he would not trade for it.
The shady merchant offered me riches in gold.
envy of people, a life that was bold.
"Please look away!"
he said as my gaze fixed on the globe.
but I decided to say
despite the questions he would probe.
I could see deep into the ocean's waves
and smile at the creatures she saves.
the lives that flutter and pass us by
the wings that soar and touch the sky!
I wanted it to be mine!
I offered my breath
I offered my Time
I offered my death!
"Give me a name."
the Merchant requested.
"I have always been the same.
But I want to be something new.
I want to be you."
that is when I knew.
I had been bested.
My name is yours to hold alone.
and then, my words turned to stone.
I traded and won.
now before my life is done
remember the place where oceans waves curled?
In that place and when I was young, I bought the world.

"The buds on my pear tree will become florets this day,
prettily unfurled a creamy white." by poet
On leaves of green streams down the gold
of a radiant April dawn,
and blotted out is winter’s cold
because sun’s here to warmly smile upon
the pear tree that is posing on my lawn.
The first day for her blossoming has come.
White pearled clusters now adorn my favorite tree.
A lovely fashionista this day she has become.
Can any other tree be more beautiful than she?

Granted, Karen was on Top of the World,
her passionate voice brought her Close to You,
We've Only Just Begun, her gems hid pearled,
her Rainy Days and Mondays changed our view.
Bless the Beasts and Children, expressed warm peace,
The Night Has a Thousand Eyes, sleep awhile,
to being Solitaire, Walk On By, please,
Make It Easy on Yourself. Rest a spell.
Called the yard to buy a Ticket To Ride,
Beechwood 4-5789,
from San Francisco to LA, Cal's south side,
it was 1980, a younger time.
So long ago, it's Yesterday Once More,
Karen's Goodbye to Love was my top score.

"My soul ceases to stroll ~
in the ruffled leaves of lotus letters,
whose paper sun
has never surfed to your seabeds..."
~ quote by the poet.
Say, I'll be the saviour-spell
...for your champagne stars, sinking
in eyes eclipsed by cupid
where orphans of daylight, dwell
when I am nothing... but pain
a puppet princess, dethroned
I dream to be your heartbeat
...pearled in peace periwinkles
when poetry is Psyche
...freckled in my fogged marrow
and petals fall, pulse by pulse
ink me feathered, in grape-golds
if the hydra hymns forget
to breathe my name in silence
O' love, I'll bask ~ laced with lores
healed in you...like a poem

I'm fifteen darkwater dreaming or drowning
adrift and alone on the ocean of the bathroom floor
tossed on tidal waves of pain pearled with perspiration
a clattering clutch of shells contracting
shingle shushing stifled shrieks
the shucked shell of my womb
emptying like an oyster snared
by umbilicals of seaweed Far away
hazy-faint through saltwater mists I see
a little pearl glistening floating and rocking in red sea
I'm all at sea without anchor on tides a boat floating free
seeking a mooring in the harbour of the doctor's consulting room
her voice a deep dive anchoring me with subtle sympathy
through muffled underwater sounds sea-shadowy fog shawling me
I want to tell her about the dream submerged stories of a tiny pearl
maroon-mangled and foam-spangled slipping slowly from me
into scarlet sea drifting away sinking to darkwater depths
Driving home my mother's rings clink like shells against the steering wheel
and a shaming sea of silence fills the car pretty shells shucked and shocked

The cherish of the pearled constellations reflect
in her eyes, so wondrous her eyes.
It is the hour of the romance of the spring equinox,
the saints are whispering in their night vespers.
Her muse slumbers in a gown of velveteen dreams,
yet, her moonlight-blessed creativity is such
lyrical ecstasy born from her quintessence.
Her gifts of poetry bid me to breathe them in
with their stardust enchantments.
No, she is not mortal,
she pens of not only love's light and stars,
but of humankind and it's folly.
The blithsome moon desires to stay,
as her eternal face of ageless lover's
inspiration will not leave her timeless poetess.
Poetess, oh poetess, reclines on
cumulus clouds of eventide pink and lavender,
that billows so gently from her being.
Rise, dear poetess, and pen more the
mastery of your words, your verse,
til God's gilded dawn. ~

In the quiet of the night, I hear your call,
A whisper soft, a gentle plea, enthrall.
Your burdens heavy, your spirit unfurled,
Come rest your weary heart, let me hold your world.
In the chaos of the day, I see your strife,
A struggle fierce, a battle for your life.
But in my arms, find solace, unfurl,
Let go of the weight, let me hold your world.
The stars above may dim, the moon may fade,
But my love for you will never degrade.
In every trial, every tear pearled,
I'll be your anchor, let me hold your world.
Though storms may rage and darkness looms near,
Together we'll face what we fear.
In each other's embrace, find comfort swirled,
Trust in my love, let me hold your world.
So rest now, my love, in the warmth of my embrace,
Let worries drift away, leave no trace.
For in this moment, our love's flag unfurled,
You're not alone, let me hold your world.

Honeyed gold pearled shades
brown ferns and aspens
into shadowed paths
lit embers and oaks
As darkness draws near,
with bowed tears of stark
runic streaks of light
dapple my sky
showing only maze
of black enigmas
crimson, lucid blaze.
leading to plum sky.
Swift shades drape my thirst
like dim-lit daydreams
that persist through time
niggling at my nerves
in sparkling strings of
stern frame blush skyline!
whilst glum chorus swells
in ghostly darkness.
Gloom morphs darned mayhem
veiled cinereal shroud
as she touches me
gazing with sleek sight
hushed tones, wan relics
of laid skyline bleeds
lost in shades of rouge
Onyx oboe chords.
The blaze has withered
oblivion crave.

It was the bronzed bell of a tinseled Ocean ship.
Until destiny was scuttled by a fiery water witch.
In time, it became the haunting clang upon a reef.
A macabre Nic Nac for cliques that ruled the deep.
They returned like blue birds, lonely for a blossoming.
To pay homage to every sailor overtaken by the sea.
They lay bouquets of flowers, over shadowed grief...
as ghosts pared sweet memories into paper effigies.
Between shuffles of worn decks and ninety proof lips.
They spin tales of crimson seas and horrible dorsal fins...
Torn hearts and sails, forever on a starboard list
Drifting between a blue refrain and the salty mist.
In the graying vein of time, everything's forgotten.
The sweet angelic, the mundane, the eternally rotten.
Gravestones hoard salt within their granite cracks.
Tokens to a time when auroras bled into blackness.
One by one the crew will drift from this pearled realm.
Riding TradeWinds into the gilded scented heavens...
or becoming driftwood, in the brackish heart of hell...
as the captain sways to the clang of his beloved water bell.

Your will is what will now, let me be free ...
'Tis be darker times than before, more childless,
This is crazy! Topsy turvey they'd be,
matters of convenience act the mindless,
It is the right of every woman, or,
Is it the right of every woman, so,
Some folks fighting for life inside the core,
others say the fight is more blow-by-blow.
The written trek crossed Egypt and the world,
Rome, Greece, Mesopotamia, and more,
rice patties and bamboo trails that were pearled,
procedures taught too numerous the score.
Be crib death, world plagues, poor, starving, and this,
quest be, will we exist ... 'Tis hit or miss.
~~ Bestill ... lil' maybe!
