Over My Head Poems | Examples

Hold It Over My Head

You pretend you
wanted to help me.
Just so you can
Throw in my face
Everything you did for me.
And try to make yourself
Look good.
Cause you helped someone.
When you only helped
So you can hold it
Over my head.
The least of your life.

I can barely play Go Fish

Old Maid is well over my head
Shogi?
I think not

Over My Head

My head is so full

Loving you is so hard

Watching you feel

Burns my heart

Thy tender lips

And pale eyes

Taking me along

In your paradise

Events of past

Have bruised my mind

Love for hate

you always render

Wanting to change

Before farewell

I want to surrender

Deep Over My Head

A deep hole fraying at the knot
Because the hole is in the universe
Cloudy depth deep over my head
Dying nature in till my world is out of proportion deep over my head
Elevating slipping lower till your covered deep over my head
Falling through hell deep over my head
Going deep into the jungle deep over my head
Hello world I’m in deep over my head
Joking falling killing deep over my head
Killed me deep over my head
Laughing as I died deep over my head
Murder I try to say deep over my head
Not a liar never deep over my head
Oh I am in limbo deep over my head
Popping like a balloon deep over my head
Que hora es I hear the person next to me yelling deep over my head
Rotting away falling in the maggots and dirt deep over my head
Slipping through threw the galaxy deep over my head
To fast deep over my head
Universe is collapsing deep over my head
Vast world. deep over my head
What has the world come to deep over my head
Xray vision closing in on the deep over my head thoughts
Zebra striped world. deep over my head
.Good Bye. deep over my head.

The Dark Clouds Over My Head

There I am
In the calm before the storm
I am here to warn you
Because warning always comes before destruction
This is act 1, I'm going AWOL
I'll be lucky to get out alive at all
And if I die and fall
How could I remain a surviver
Don't think that I have forgot that every dark cloud has a silver lining
Or that I have accepted death as my only means of escape
I'm in a trance, I transcend distances greater than the depths of the Atlantic
I'm going through the gate of Life and I'm not coming back empty handed
A familiar spirit speaks and on the screen you see the message
I will not retract at all, it is the Lord my God Who fights my battles

Light Over My Head

There is a light
over my head
it follows me
wherever I go,
that light is Jesus.

I know it's there
for I feel His
presence, His
hand covers me,
to protect and
shield me.

Someday I'll reach
glory land, walk
those streets of
gold and sit
down with the
Saints of old
and talk shop
with them,
like I never
did in church.

Listening to old
Jonah telling me
about his time
spent in the belly
of the great fish.

How little David
felt when he
was out there
facing the giant
     Goliath.

Oh what a time!
it will be and
I thank my Jesus,
for His light over
me and for my
salvation He gave freely.

He Strums Guitars Over My Head

He strums guitars over my head
While my cheeks are flushed pink
Like the sheets on my bed
Stolen glances will never come back
The pulse of my body
Screams loudly, “Heart attack!”
Oh, how the pillow hits my skull
Not the other way around
Pain from his voice is dull
No stars, solely strings to be heard
All twanged by his fingers
Fit perfect with his word
Electronic voice waves float below
A speaker pumping love
From this boy, a hello
