The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

The Dark Clouds Over My Head

There I am
In the calm before the storm
I am here to warn you
Because warning always comes before destruction
This is act 1, I'm going AWOL
I'll be lucky to get out alive at all
And if I die and fall
How could I remain a surviver
Don't think that I have forgot that every dark cloud has a silver lining
Or that I have accepted death as my only means of escape
I'm in a trance, I transcend distances greater than the depths of the Atlantic
I'm going through the gate of Life and I'm not coming back empty handed
A familiar spirit speaks and on the screen you see the message
I will not retract at all, it is the Lord my God Who fights my battles
