The hours passed like seconds
And stripped our youth away
The years they passed like miles
From the window of a plane
As life goes on and ticks away
And the glass runs out of sand
The hours pass like seconds
Times a curse upon this land
live in each moment, one day it will be too late
Each year that I live
Each burden for all the years
Every emotion that I give
Followed by each bucket of tears
I wonder Oh God, what shall I do?
I have searched the universe
Looking for divine truth since my youth
What is my purpose?
Am I a tool for you?
Every relationship I get burned
Every friendship overturned
Every dollar I’ve earned is from tedious work
Still, I yearn
My hopes and dreams remain unfulfilled
Every waking moment continues to be time to kill
Show me the way for there is account
For all of my breaths
Because I am running out of time and patience
And it’s causing anxiety and stress
I can admit I give far too many chances than I should
I always manage to overlook the bad and see the good
The one thing about me is there’s always a time limit for you
I eventually grow tired of things
Don’t take my love as a weakness because it’s one of the things I love about myself
Never think I’m weak because I forgave you more than I can count on my hands
I love hard and I’m not going to stop
I’m just going to stop loving you
You were stupid for taking my love as a weakness
You were dumb for thinking I would deal with this forever
I was never weak
I decided to love you and be with you
I took a chance with you but there’s only so much a person can take
I never was afraid to leave you
I was able to give you a chance
I stayed for so long that you thought I would never leave you
That’s where you messed up at
I always knew I had the confidence to make it on my own
How does it feel to know that you were wrong?
You played yourself
I don’t regret leaving because I gave you a million chances
You blew every single one of them and I decide to be done with this
I decide to close this chapter with you and be done with you
I'm running out of time
in this life of mine
I'm not fine
my sanity on the line
and I'm running out of time
99 degrees on that parking lot, felt like 110,
no breeze, nothing to cool ears
as they swiveled on a sopping neck.
There she was -
pushing a lightly filled cart
across an asphalt desert.
I'm too young for her,
40 years since my brain woke up.
I was born in my mid-thirties,
problem is, when you are born in your mid-anything
the linear roll of time tends to wobble a lot,
moments drift in and out of you
as if you were an abandoned vehicle.
where only mice may nest.
Half a mile from the crematorium
a pub sells English beer,
I'm just resting there now,
dipping a tired mind
into cold froth.
Never suspected on meeting her so soon,
I was not ready for an eternal romance,
she also had forgotten her place in time.
Old crone eyes looked at me
through a newly minted face.
In many ways, that dry-roasted parking lot
could have been hell,
but for a while we were in a brand-new heaven
our carts coming together
for a long, knowing kiss.
Time always delivers
don't hold your breath
but be sure
Time will always endure --
We may not...:
Vote Trump
and not for more
Marxist/communist-rot.
Out of time
I wanted to be on the gloom outside time
puncture a hole in physical, crawled through
Was met with grey stillness
a sewer of spent time
Also, the time that happened, yet
Also, layers of dead time
a place where all time had to offer was meaningless
Bones of memories, that had been picked clean
like brittles Bones in Sahara
The hole I had punched began closing
But I squeezed through
I had to go back to physical time, where it
At times rain
To live my life out, nothing else made sense
Stroll with me down country lanes
Through meadows full in bloom
Flower gardens, cottages
Vanilla rose perfume
Arm in arm from dawn to dusk
No sense of space or time
A moment an eternity
It's only you and I
The lilac bushes bursting forth
With scent and color bright
A pretty bluebird landing
She's precious in my sight
Stay with me and always be
My soulmate through and through
Though not yet it's worth a bet
A bookmark waits for you
Holy, Glory for His Kingdom worth
Righteously dividing His love and word
Ever present Elohim;
All creator all;
Spoke existence all things be;
Out of time beyond all things;
The light beyond in darkness;
Just a speck beyond all else;
Radiant beams crest divine;
Praying for His will instilled;
Hoping beyond soul myself;
Being firmly grounded in Him as I move forward;
Heaven blissed ever blessed new name Beloved;
I came from above;
Though the birth canal;
Soon I’ll be rapture up in His love;
So when I passed my last breath;
For this you see I'm falling asleep;
My spirit in these those heavenly spaces;
In the mansion, standing on golden grounds;
In His midst amongst the Holy and Heavenly;
The light beyond in darkness;
Just a speck beyond all else;

I'm in the ICU
I think somewhere in Cincinnati
a city I do not know that well.
I'm hooked up to tubes and machines
they buzz and beep regularly.
I think it must be nighttime
there are no windows
but the shadows are deep.
Suddenly the machines start screaming
rushing feet hurry near.
Silence crashes into silence.
A day later
I am at home making plans
for the trip to the hospital
as if nothing yet had happened
and nobody died.
Go not to were the grogwarts go,
Were the fanged tooth ratgut bites,
were death is rife and life is cheap,
And they practice pagan rites.
A throwback to pre-history,
It is a place of shadows and mystery,
It is hidden in the dark of the Woods,
guarded by Hobgoblins in hoods.
This infestation in ancient days,
Was kept in order by Druid ways,
who would gather at the full of the moon,
Sacrificing chickens, and chanting songs til noon.
The beasts are free to roam and kill,
you can hear there awful Howling still
They are, atop, of that far rocky hill,
fighting each other and growling.
It is here that the evil wolverine lurk,
Preying on innocents, going to work,
They now will face his merciless wrath.
Having strayed from the normal quite safe path,
For centuries now this evil place,
Has kept, it’s anonymity safe,
An anomaly, in space and time
Has opened a door, to this world of slime.
How is this possible with modern techniques,
That no one has noticed these terrible freaks
You can try and avoid a confrontation
But something should be done, by the leaders of the nation.

In this nation we buy airtime
Or Data for internet access, and texting
After church I see I'm low on airtime
And Data. From poems, I may seek vacation

But the world is running out of time
For reforming our ways, for environment, home
May I add, Time for prayer, or lockdown again
Omicron has not killed ... yet. A sinister plan?
III
Take heart; powerful folk may not need prayer
Weaker ones like me need my Savior more than ever
We are running out of time; and the LORD, of patience?
As elites play God, ignoring Hebrew exile, Flood of Noah

Pray my dear siblings, for humane talk, and Jub-Jub "smasher"
In this nation, Amanda Dupont was "raped for two years,"
Per SABC Sunday Radio broadcast, by Jub-Jub, culture leader
As we begin 16 days to stop GBV, new or ancient virus?
NOTE: GBV, in South Africa means; gender Based Violence, where killing of women and females as young as 6 years, made news this week (following rape, usually). This is sad news almost daily. We have several pandemics in our modern cultures, education notwithstanding.
I'm running out of time, on this beautiful green earth.
I still feel so young, but it's many years since my birth.
Should I spend all my money, buy a fancy house and car?
Or travel to other countries, so exotic and afar?
But to spend time with my loved ones, doing nothing that exciting,
Appeals to my senses, it seems the most inviting.
I could travel these days away, in my coming twilight years,
But I wouldn't leave for long, or I would be in pain and tears.
For as I've gotten older, one thing has come quite clear,
Nothing means as much to me, as those I hold so dear.
I may travel here and there, for short periods of retreat.
But home I will return to, on my tired and weary feet.
I've learned a lot, through life's trials and tribulations.
The desires of many others, may not meet my expectations.
Give me my family, and cherished friends that may be few,
For that is where my joy is, this I know now to be true.
Yes, I'm running out of time, to do all I likely could,
But life happens only once, I will do what just feels good.
sand begins
to pour at birth
daily clocks
tick tock tick tock
sixty here, sixty there
seconds, minutes
time keeper laughs
watching us closely
time is running
we are frantic
too late now
no time left
