A Moment Out of Time
Stroll with me down country lanes
Through meadows full in bloom
Flower gardens, cottages
Vanilla rose perfume
Arm in arm from dawn to dusk
No sense of space or time
A moment an eternity
It's only you and I
The lilac bushes bursting forth
With scent and color bright
A pretty bluebird landing
She's precious in my sight
Stay with me and always be
My soulmate through and through
Though not yet it's worth a bet
A bookmark waits for you
