moon-spirit mettles
sun and earth orientate ~
sun kissed and moonstruck
Not a house
Not a garage
Not a place for tools
I shouldn't be prescriptive
Yet these have to be the rules
A chair, a lamp
A heater
A kettle is the max
A place of peace and quiet
So that nothing then distracts
I will allow a volume
I will consume the words
I will restore my whole
With poets and the psalmists
Strive to elevate my soul
Turn away all of the gadgets
Turn connection down to null
Turn my mind to still and quiet
Volume up on natural
Orientate myself to try it
We all need a sacred harbour
We all need that peaceful place
We all need to sit and dwell
To pursue the 'inner sanctum'
So internal noise will quell
Do you hear me when I say this
Do you sense the inner call
Do you long to calm the din
Find that place and don't deny it
For that space is deep within
The camera inside the picture
concertina's time-lines into exclamation points.
Antique tripods brace themselves,
their quaint brass fittings
help minds to adjust.
Some turn a grooved infinity sprocket.
Some cave paint on the arching
bones of elk heads.
If we are to discover what is out there
we must board a ghost train,
plot a milky way over a whiteboard -
orientate to relate.
Spirit, that invisible violin
in a trio of appearance,
is a lone lover.
The third lover arrives at night
walking across fingertips,
while a pale moonlight
moves hands around
a clock of want.
The other elements
of frequency modulation
are the sex machines
that transmits power to pressure,
they are small devices
that molest moments into prayer.
Lastly there is
the whistling tinker man.
The rattle of pots and kettles
behind his moving caravan
enchants all we children
of much lesser gods.
A woman, or a girl,
hooded and hiding,
may pensively gaze down
at the sun, or a sinking stone.
Or a man, not a boy,
neither hooded nor hiding,
may, in her stead, gaze, ecstatic, upward
at the corner of the mystery.
A crawler on the oceans floor
may cling as an ocean crawler would,
sucking up whatever remains
from the feeding frenzy above.
Or a larger beast
may extend its armoured frame upward
and arch its back to swallow
the sun, or a sinking stone.
A jester, or provocateur, laughing quietly,
is surely nearby,
suspended upside down for now,
he, too, will change with the change.
Stones cast off, or scrupulously gathered,
and the bleeding edge of enigma,
may change or remain the same,
we won’t know until we turn.

Failure can never define
My emotions I shall iron
They say love is devine
Change I want,to my state of mind
For my only thoughts is you and I combined
The art of us brings me joy
My heart is playing me tricks like a toy

The love I have for you,is devine
This cardiac tumor in me is benign
For it shall do me no harm
As long as I have my emotions ironed
My emotions I shall hide
For my state of mind is us combined
The laughter you bring
Did I just mention the butterflies
The red hearts reappearing from my eyes
As my retina interprets the view
The view I have when I see you
Thinking you my boo*giggling and blushing*
My state of mind
You are the ray to my photosynthesis
It may seem early to say this
But you my friend,you contain me
Like pollen grains and the bee
We share the unsaid
Even my smallest atom's shells

what needs to take place!
There’s a savior who loves us!
And offers his grace!

They’ve been created…
We’re wonderfully designed by God!
This shouldn’t be debated!
Allow the power of Jesus,
to orientate your life today!
And listen to what your creator
really has to say!
Where there is emptiness… God’s love does

~Born after the flesh, orientation toward cash
Orientation toward Spirit, heavens are always near it
That which one loves, covers one like a glove
Orientations make clear, toward it one will always steer
One’s orientation always manifests as one’s connotations
and by it Love or greed take a vacation
~A awesome retreat, is an end as a rest complete
while if lust be thrust, in it one will trust
~If Love be one’s glove, one trusts in heavenly Dove
Meditate and orientate, Love a wait’s one’s fate
to open or close one’s sacred gate
Born then, now and again
a waits Love at one’s begin, patiently at one’s end
~Born after the flesh, orientation toward cash
like a stock market’s eventual crash
Connotation as vacations are temporal creations
illusionary information, fleshly concepts of creation
Selah!
Mom got moved to the dementia ward
more one to one
and hands on care
help dressing, help bathing, words to orientate
still sadley
the rest home doors are locked
kid inside me chuckes "She's in lock down"
not that this is funny at all -
but such levity brings a little smile to the room where mom and I sit
and even though
she doesn't understand where my smile comes from
it makes her smile anyway
and the moment
is enjoyed.
