When Dreams Met the Eiffel Tower

A dream for many a watch for some  
The Olympic journey, Here it comes!!  
It was in Paris, few days ago  
It rushed a shiver from the head to the toe.  

Flags carried through the Seine river  
The horse was galloping in the water, even the ring of the high

Watching the Olympics

Visiting some family, 
We sit and watch TV,
But mostly it’s a show or movie
I don’t want to see.

Today, though, the Olympics 
Kept me smiling and content
With a level of excitement 
Worth the hours that we spent.

Though it’s nice to see my sister,
Aunt and cousins, truth be told,
It is sweeter while we watch the U.S,
Going for

somebody on the bus asked me, 'do you have a mellower view of humanity?'

City of Light, Games of Fire

In the City of Light, a new flame ignites
Olympic fire burns, burning bright nights
Paris springs to life, life in full swing
As champions spring forth, forth they spring

The Seine flows with dreams, dreams flow fast
Flowing with athletes from present and past
They run for gold, gold standard set
Running the banks where the sun has set
