Ulay kasano'y kadagsen di problemam
Adikan itolok ay mabege ka, labanam
Ta maga to met lang di odom ay kaseseg-ang
No baken sika ay manang

A basketball player named Odom
Wants to dribble the balls in his scrotum
He tries to bounce them
Hardwood boards renounce them
Odom can't put 'em back ~ has to tote 'em!

Today Was Cloudy
By: Woodrow Odom Lucas
Today was cloudy,
Dark all day,
I wish I had hope,
Come what may,
I saw a homeless man,
And gave him a kind word,
His smile lifted me to flight like a bird,
A bird of flight who fears not night,
Who fears not fate,
Who fears not hate,
But I wish that he was warm inside,
With a woman who loved him like I love God,
And his plan to redeem the Sun and Moon,
I wish we had a better world coming soon,
Do we?
I’m just not sure,
But the sun still rises,
And babes are still true and pure,,
Today was cloudy,
Dark all day,
But clouds don’t last forever,
And neither does suffering,
Suffering is but a momentary eclipse on a sun shiny day,
And soon I’ll say I love you,
Valentine’s day is coming,
And I have no partner yet,
But I’m warm inside,
And that homeless man was freezing,
I wish he was warm inside with a woman who loves him like I love God,
Because in the end we all smile like that man smiled at me today,
In the end we all say I love,
And we mean it!

Verses prt.2
By Valerie Odom
July 27, 2017
I need a girl that’s gone
Keep it tight
Eat it right
Never leave me
Just stay by my side
I need a girl that’s gone
Keep it real
Show me the whole deal
Not just play the cards
Girl just show me how you really feel
I need a girl that’s gone
Vibe with a v
And chill with a c
Eat this kat with a k
And strap me down
S-T-R-A-P

Really Realize prt.1
By Valerie Odom
May 19, 2017
Things are not how they used to be
Look up from your phone and then you’ll see
There is no love in these streets
It’s hard for someone to match your fly
When all of these girls just want guys
Can’t you see the pain in my eyes
Life is really what you make
You have to give so they don't take
Don’t break my heart for love's sake

No Greater Sin
By Valerie Odom
April 13, 2017
Black man
White man
This man
You man
He drinks
He smokes
He steals
And he provokes
He's polytheistic
And he works on Sunday
He makes child videos
And he loves the money
But I'm gay
So I'm automatically first in line for the fire pit right?
But if she throws that ass back for the one time before marriage
She still has an open seat at the end of that white light
This **** is crazy man
I thought no sin was greater than the other
So how come y'all disapprove of my decision
But y'all can bear my brothers
While we got children having children
Y'all turn a blind eye
But when y'all see me with a strap
I don't see any allies
Why dont we learn to keep an open mind
It doesn't matter where I go
If I go this way and you go that way
Then it was your opinion that I didn't really need to know

All Lives Matter
By Valerie Odom
June 17, 2017
How can All Lives Matter when your
are bombing kids in the Middle East?
How can All Lives Matter when you
are killing black people as you please?
How can All Lives Matter when you
are taking away gay people's rights?
How can All Lives Matters when trans
people still have to fight?
All Lives Mattered until you called
that Muslim woman a terrorist
All Lives Mattered until you lynched
that black man in your backyard sis
All Lives Mattered until you made fun
of slavery, genocide, the Holocaust
All Lives Mattered until you watched
that girl kill herself and have her dead
body be tossed
When you say All Lives Matter you mean
the whites ones mainly
You think your race is more superior but
we were all created equally
So next time when you say All Lives Matter
make sure you include everyone else
Because All means All not just you stop
thinking about yourself

Crack That You Sniff
By Valerie Odom
May 22, 2017
Once your gone youre gone
That means youre dead for real
Its like the healings going backwards
Man im tryna heal
I cant take all this suffering
I cant take this pain
But when the trigger goes off
Itll be sent through my brain
I gotta hire some goons
Cause i cant do it myself
Day by day i try to fix it
But its hurting my health
Maybe if you send me away ill get fixed
But my mind is taking over like the crack that you sniff

7 Talk Love
By Valerie Odom
May 19, 2017
If you want to talk to me then I'll always have the time
I may be busy everyday but you'll still be on my mind
If you need someone to love then I'll really show you my all
But once you start acting like you don't care then I might as well just fall
I don't even ask for much I just need someone to care
Feel like I'm all by myself again its not even a real pair

Never The End
By Valerie Odom
Dear whoever reads this,
I just wanted to say it wasn’t your fault that you did this but humanity itself for creating a beautiful light and destroying an undying love. If you feel sorry you should. Regretting is not the main problem but reject of being different. If you cry, cry beautifully so that the gods may even weep of sorrow. As of all let your story be known even if it’s hundreds of thousands of years from now when the Earth may burn and die and may not even matter then.
Never the end,
The Old Valerie

Mr. Brown Baby
By Valerie Odom
February 14, 2017
Mr. Brown Baby
You either knows too little or too much
The white man still gonna beat you on the daily
While you're still accused of raping that young lady
Everywhere you goes their purses they try to clutch
Mr. Brown Baby
They call you dumb because you was born at Grady
They call you dumb because you was miseducated and such
The white man still gonna beat you on the daily
It was a sad time for the 80’s
Everywhere the blackman went he was beat but the whiteman was untouched
Mr. Brown Baby
Can’t even go and drive a mercedes
Without you being reported and put in jail and such
The white man still gonna beat him on the daily
Why do they hate you Mr. Brown Baby?
He’s the blackest of the bunch
Mr. Brown Baby
The white man still gonna beat him on the daily

GMO(Get Me Off) All The Way Till I Die
By Valerie Odom
March 14, 2017
A processed way,
A processed life
No more factories
GMO all the way till I die
Bacon, ramen, flavored nuts
Get me off!
Get me off!
Get me off this bus!
A metaphor, a wish
Please don’t serve me that processed dish
Leaves not “vitamin” beans
Check the label don't trust the machine
9 not 8
Get off the bus before it’s too late.

Blackface
By Valerie Odom
March 24, 2017
Blackface
White man down
Black paint
Yell our race, stand in the crowd
While you screaming “All Live Matter”
Our men being shot to the ground
Blackface
But you got white lips
Blackface
Why you making your white supremacy the top of the list?
Blackface
You tryna catch these hands?
Cus’ you can catch me outside
Take that black paint off Man
You’re a fool
The disrespect is on 10
Claim you’re just having fun
These lies needa end
I’m tired of the mistreat
I just only want peace
Next time I see you with that black paint on
It’s finna be a rumble in the streets

Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe
By Valerie Odom
March 5, 2017
Eeny, meeny, miny, moe
Catch a tiger by the toe
If he hollers let him go,
Eeny, meeny, miny, moe
My mother told me
To pick the very best one
And you are not it
Eeny, meeny, miny, moe
By day I have to put on a show
Just sit and smile and not say no
While they give me their opinions on my afro
Eeny, meeny, miny, moe
By night my sorrows start to glow
My rhythmic notes begin to flow
And form into material
They tried to tell me
Keep your head high
And you will not fall
