Synchronicity

Have you ever made a connection despite adversity, or at a time when emotional warmth is especially cherished?

A connection based on Jung's concept of synchronicity:

Occurrences that are linked by meaning rather than cause?

A fleetingly moment maybe in a challenging time, where meaningful contact that seems both accidental and profound.

Is needed?

A brief pause with a stranger that felt overflowing with meaning?

An unsaid unity formed in a profound silence between new or old friends?

Or just someone appearing into your life at the right time that almost felt like fate?

So, have you ever felt this sensation with someone?

Title.
Synchronicity

(A lone voice whispers)

We came together
Like two autumn leaves touching
In winter's weather

Senryu, like haiku, has three lines with 17 or, but unlike haiku, which focuses on nature, senryu tends to center on human nature.

Premium MemberThere's a First Time for Everything

And there you were in front of me
Standing in full view
A floral dress and comfy shoes
That first time I saw you

And then that night you came to me
From no where so it seemed
I don't know why, but it was nice
That first time that I dreamed

And then one day I found us there
Together on the stage
I got to stand across from you
That first time that we played

Those "chance meetings", occurrences
Born not through stress or strife
Without one's knowledge or consent
Those first times change one's life

Premium MemberMadness To The Method

Madness to the Method
It did not come from mode of method,
nor from the charted mind.
But sprung from a will-o'-the-wisp
spark in the blind spot shadow,
of the brain, disentangled and drifting.

The idea slipped in sideways,
from the periphery of focus,
when attention was distracted,
by the flit of eyes glancing,
in other ways on other days,

For the more you look,
the less likely you are to see,
the brilliant gems lying
invisible to naked eyes,
blinded by the wont-of-desire
for discovery, to stare intensely
at the target, and not look away.

But, it takes a touch of madness,
to notice strange occurrences,
in the clutter and debris of
random observations falling
like ticker-tape from
still-born mode-of-method showers,
of collected failures-to-disprove.

It takes the madness of
serendipity for one
to take potluck picks
in the box of tricks
smart minds often miss,
to pick winners
with happenstance.

The Reason

Days, months and years to all are special,
Because the rate of occurrences are spatial,
A deliberate art of super human,
To propel celebration of event and man,
Even those that are tragically comic.

We hold high birthdays for they are annual crops,
Centurys' first day is sold in a rare kiosk ain't shops,
A new day in a decade is ten years,
Is 1992 calender not as same as 2020 and coming years?
That is also the beauty of leap days.

While some celebrate as...
God and geographers bring mine not like ass,
For I was bore, once in four annuals,
A deep day to find in several biannuals,
As unique as a unicorn.

My birthday, like a sanctuary,
Privileged, get it not a mortuary,
We are those born on February 29th,
Count in fours from 1804 to 2020th,
Should we not celebrate a unique year?

Sometimes humans, sometimes not

Sometimes we are humans, sometimes not.

Witnesses are the past and the present occurrences of the world.

Witnesses are the endless time and the greatest human beings of this earth.

Sometimes they are humans, sometimes not.

Smell The Roses

The chain of events following fragmentation of a giant rock:
A piece got wind down with sprouting of vitalizing herbs.
A miniscule life showed up, then giants started to take over
All at once they departed, unique things began to uncover.
First it was on four limbs, and they were the ones to get selected.
Unprecedented occurrences began as soon as they were erected
How long they will endure amid the chain of ongoing changes?
Since it's fragile, why don't you stop by and smell the roses?

Some people think these recent disasters
Are caused by abuse of the planet
I tend to think they're natural occurrences
The world is just running the gamut

The ebb and flow of changing conditions
Are normal like any time previous
The world has existed for billions of years
Foolish to think we'd be impervious

It's how it's been since the dawn of existence
Today, we're in a technological time frame
To imagine it's the reason for all this mayhem
Is wrong, we shouldn't assume all the blame

There are certainly mistakes man has made
That surely hasn't helped the environment
But to suggest that these are the only reasons
The blame has an unjustified placement

No doubt, we've had some manmade disasters
Without question, can't dispute their effect
Humans certainly are not without culpability
But we've never been thought of as perfect

We are only visiting for a relatively short time
And our challenge is to try our very utmost
To leave it a much better place than we found it
What a great reason for us humans to boast!

Premium MemberChanges

  Conditions, atmosphere and circumstances
and people are each one constantly changes.

Comittments, goals in life are very beneficial
when one's personal growth is within self.

Changes are sometimes painful when it's not
   Particularly reciprocated, unleash those
fanciful mental images of how occurrences
   ought to be.

Changes, It only induces one self in a state of confusion,
    humiliation and emotional issues.

Changes are immensely vital for one's mental, physical
    balance, growth, longevity and well-being.

The Fault In Our Star

Thinking of what the universe has given us.
Some believe everything happens for a reason,
And to some it is by chance,
And to some it is how you want it to be.

Do we see the future,
Let alone to know what will happen tomorrow.
Do we blame the star for every occurrences in life?
Or there is already a fault in the star from the beginning.

We give answer to what we can understand and explain,
And the otherwise we give it to the universe to explain.
Maybe there is really a fault in our star or Maybe not.
Life gives an answer to some in life, and to some there's no answer.

But the universe has laid a foundation for mankind,
We control what we do and how we do it,
And the outcome is us,
As a result of the action we took.

The Road I Drive

It is simple and plain
A few potholes along the way
It is West Virginia that’s to be expected
It is a road just like any other
Divided into two lanes

One way takes me away
For work
For daily life occurrences
For a weekend getaway

I know this road well
I drive it every day
I know it bends
I know its dips
I know where I want to pretend it is a race track

There are days when I forget I am driving
and end safely at my destination anyway
Up hills
Down hollers
In-between the mountains
Is the road I drive
And it will always bring me back home
No matter where it takes me

Simply by watching our body mind
Sensations, thoughts, emotions
As occurrences external to us
A surreal silence is enabled
Where no fears nonplus

Premium MemberPerspective On Compartmentalization

Aiming to organize perfectly with zest
Brain of mine braces up against distraction's pest
Compartmentalization becomes clear mindset as best
Dividing rightfully; yet what along how is a challenging test...

Each has proper place in every way
Failure to do so may, can and will cause delay
Good thinking should function along wisdom ray
Hoisted by trust, prayer-propelled... smiting dismay...

Inevitable occurrences along puzzling maze
Juggling concerns creating issues of mental craze
Keep me confused vis-a-vis compartmentalization blaze...
Lord, help me, I beg to face controversies with simplicity-gaze...

Mental attitude of triumphant glow
Now is my goal against faith* that's shallow
Optimizing divine direction with optimism as I follow
Perspective of wholistic pursuits and wholesome serenity-flow.

*Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Passing Of Time
By: Miracle Man
7/14.2023

As time passes, our individual world’s, we’ll see shrink,
we reminisce on things which we no longer command.
We re-read life’s past pages, and some decisions rethink,
and lament some occurrences that didn’t go as planned.

We’ll try ridding our thoughts of the “what if’s” of life,
but our clock, once elapsed, will become a read only file.
Oft times our thought process will focus on afterlife,
where in judgment we’ll answer for our earthly lifestyle.

Dramatic Axioms

Dramatically and tragic occurrences
that worldly life offers us... :
The disheartening tragedy of the non-smile...
And the embarrassing, malicious smile
of ignorance and evil....!
