Premium Membertired of wars

I'm sick of being wrong,
and you're being right
in your sick convictions
and your perversions
that are so longing,
for my so called attention,
sucking up to the moderators
with lies and exaggerations
of your coked up stories.
I have better things
than your obsessions,
I would never hurt children
and passion is your obscenely
of your falsified pretensions,
Have I ever been arrested?
I raised as a modern day poet
so admit this is about jealousy.....

Premium Memberwhile my guitar gently weeps

lady of the tiger tattoo,
i, the lonesome hunter in queue,
bathe your toes, obscenely straining,
a beleaguered virtue waning
while my guitar gently weeps, i
should scold desire, but hearts deny
seekers trapped by your auburn waves
do meet their ends in many caves

Premium MemberKnowing Angels

Angels are almost silent
Subtle
treadbare steppers
subliminal stalkers
determinedly quiet
except at choir
a pair of cherubic hums
can equivalate
to the drones
of a billion bees.

Can you separate
the noises
of bouncing sparrows
on wet sands,
from belly-down
thin-skinned slitherers
roaming in beds of grass -
obscenely dense,
from burglarizing ants at a picnic party?

Angels are seen
since they come to visit.
Unannounced,
but friendly faces
beaconing
like lighthouses.
Their halogen coronets
fulgurate and exorcise
diabolical agency.

Other angels may be noticed.
An invasive host
shod in threatening boots
dangling peace and safety
but entangling angles
strangle.
Hopes
course
in descension:
brambles
boulders
ports of fire.

Sic semper tyrannis thus always to tyrants. Rebel rebel rebel ! Storms of rebellion topple his brutal regime capture the capital, Damascus liberation celebration. His brutal regime…millions fled for their lives while squashed beneath his iron fist thousands flee who stood by him as his subject's writhe and perish ‘neath chemicals unleashed. Asleep at the Wheel

The obscenely convincing,
have arrived in their stealth mobiles.
We are made to unmake-belief,
to regurgitate Saran wrapped words.
Wide-eyed we watch the spreading creep
of windowless thought-factories.

Druids rage for the loss of their tongues.
Magic dragons puff obesely
and cannot now climb their spines.
Combative batmen tussle
with spitting cats.

It all makes no-sense, and yet
we know the fantasy is built
on self-destructing concrete,
we see now how red lipstick
smothers us with a smirk
in the dark.

Too late to run for cover.
Even as we slumber
the mother of all bombs
gives birth to yet more
pre-packaged fictions.

sentances ending with o words

In fall its leave color browish red and orange
Oak tree nature meaning occult
Ever think of owning
sapplings known as oaklings
Oaklings somewhat oak like
I have seen Oarfish
I certainly  oufgushed
I hail from Oaktown.
I dress flashy some say obscenely,
I am a sailor obviously.
The floor boards of mysail boat, oaky.
No problem for me okey.
Sailing on the Pacific ocean,
The seas are choppy and open.
In the ocean you will see oarweed.
To find my perfect oasis
I have no obang.

Premium MemberFighting With the Night

Reflected gentle in the skies,
Moon and stars, strolling serenely
Laughing winds in shadow implies
Quiet dreams dancing pristinely

Listening for the chance to rouse
Phantastic that might prove keenly
Hidden away like the still mouse
Quiet dreams dancing pristinely

Dusk falls light against the spirit
Mounting dreads, seldom obscenely
Mighty moods, the heart can hear it
Quiet dreams dancing pristinely

Even the night cannot explain away
Hence, feelings dark, not so meanly
Nocturnal dread, filled with dismay
Quiet dreams dancing pristinely

Fanciful twilight falls softly
Echoing musings quite sheenly
Beguiling glooms, quite awfully
Quiet dreams dancing pristinely

Satan Worshipers

Some people are Satan worshipers
As luck would have it they are few
They love cheating beside evils and devils
Active in showing coloring of a chameleon
Not nowadays but since their early beginning
What do you expect Satan worshipers do?
Obscenely they come and go, say and sing
Rancorous men and women most of the time
Sake not humanity welfare sake not facts and truth
Humbug day and night deceive others and themselves
Identical to Satan and its misgiving its obsession
People hate Satan, evils and devils all over the world
Except those ugly Satan worshipers
Really Satan is their leader and their god
Satan lovers!

About this simple poem, please note that there is nothing personal, nothing related to old friends and readers at all.

Premium MemberDee Wore a Bikini

Dee wore a teeny weeny bikini
All guys on the beach whistled her keenly
She caused hullabaloo
As it was a see-through
And green-eyed gals swore at Dee obscenely.

Legends

August 1977 and the King is gone
Forty years later the legend lives on

He was the worst Elvis tribute act
There had ever ever been;
So bad he was almost good
And just had to be seen.
They came from miles away
Just to see him perform.
Not your usual Elvis, no,
Nowhere near the norm.
In spite of the jump suit
And top range black wig
Nothing could disguise
A complexion like a fig.

And when it came to height
He couldn’t be called tall.
In fact to tell the truth
He was under 5ft feet tall.
In truth I suppose he could
Just have got away with that
If only he hadn’t been
So obscenely fat;
But up there on the stage
He gave it all his heart
Threw himself fully
Into his performing art.

He couldn’t dance
He couldn’t sing
But mixed jeers and cheer
Made those halls ring.
He gave his all
Every time he sang;
He was Eddie the Eagle
Of the tribute gang.
He’s out there somewhere.
Still on the club scene.
The worst Elvis tribute act
This world has ever seen.

Thank s to CD’s we can hear the real thing

Premium MemberShrill Oddquain

Howl;
I’m throbbing
blanket of stillness;
It’s too loud to hear the scream;
Wail,
stranded obscenely inside;
Fiercely constricted
by my thoughts
shrill.

Premium MemberOn Doing My Best

I did not set out to rise to the top, in fact
I didn’t even know that recognition existed,
Until one day I was exploring Soup’s sections
Found my name at Top 100 Community listed.

Having little else to do, I read and write poems,
Indulging myself with what I’ve always enjoyed
Writing encouraging comments to be beneficial,
I’m not Frost, Angelou, and certainly no Freud!

I don’t know why I’ve been vilified by a few,
Called names and belittled for simply being me
Saying my poems are “obscenely dull and reeling,”
Could someone be in the clutches of pure jealousy?

Some say it’s best to just ignore these sick trolls
And I think there is merit to this sage advice,
But, it's easier done when you’re not assaulted,
When did defending oneself become “not nice?”

I will keep doing all I can to make Soup the best
By contributing, encouraging, and doing my part
I will promote peace, and while eschewing discord,
I will do my best to write from a sincere heart.

And, when I am gone, I’ve heard “the clarion call,”
Let it be said, “Milt did his best, folks, t-t-that’s all!”

Premium MemberMy Spirit Seems Wrecked

I humbly beg of thee, o death, come speedily!
I'm feeble with everyone, so let's rumble leniently.
Whatever you handle, start coming down, O destiny.
And to alleviate the acute pain in my wounded body.
My heart is brimming with fissures and eternal misery.
Wipe away his sorrow and mend the apparent incongruity.
It is not cowardice, blaming, or valiantly attempting to flee.
But the sore heart refuses to acknowledge humility tacitly.
Or you could allow me to dwell in such a wolf obscenely.
It is foolish to occupy the ideal life of a timid lamb belly.

The Poet Fool on the Hill

Deems any words on paper, a poem
doth make?
Sans meaning, depth, beauty, tis but
a veritable fake!

Classical forms cut to pieces with joy
galore?
Ah, but new forms named after sandwiches,
oh my, they do score?

Poems that make our spirits rise or
surreptitiously fall.
These, my fellow poets cannot be purchased
at your local mall.

Repetitive long poems with Thesaurian words
obscenely dull and reeling.
Shall I pen these, to be at the pinnacle of the
Poetry Soup ceiling?

Tis said it takes ten years to become a good poet.
For me, I am just a beginner, and I most humbly
admit, I most painfully know it.

Premium MemberOff the Rails

Expressionless faces from nondescript places
Each to work races to go through their paces
Mothers on day trips with Garrys and Tracys
Hope to avoid unexpected disgraces

Packed in like sardines which happens routinely
Keep a hair’s breadth apart, else it’s unseemly
A man who’s expression says ‘thinking obscenely’
Presses up close, just a little too keenly

Did I feel a hand where a hand shouldn’t be
I don’t mean my arm and I don’t mean my knee
If Mr Obscene one more time gooses me
I’ll give that old pervert a lobotomy

I’ve thought it before and I’ll think it again
This daily commute renders good folk insane
Will I get a medal if I inflict pain
On those who bring prams on a rush hour train?
