Bring back the taste of homemade gifts
normalize giving straight from the heart;
A look back is how this mindset shifts;

Time together is a good place to start,
the best present is to be in the moment;
Life is so much more than a flip chart;

Hanging for hours as the clock’s spent
is more priceless than a diamond shore;
As it happens know what it meant;

Be grateful for every grande adventure;
Start now! Let’s go rewrite December.

Premium MemberIt's November Now

As the bright colors of the fall darken
and the rain and the wind hearken.
Drop of leaves from the tree greatly increases
while the temperature of the air decreases.
And while many days are tempered and dry,
rainy days leave me needing to sigh.
Trees still boasting colors are now half bare,
still causing humans to come and stare.
Leaves pile up in yards so brown
children jumping in with gleeful screams all around.
Halloween has come and gone astray.
November is now here let's be thankful before it goes away.
Apple and pumpkin pie smells fill up the air
spirits are happy and people share.
November has Thanksgiving the kickoff to a holiday season bright,
it has everyone looking forward to Christmas and New Year's delight.

Those Times That We Now Hold Most Dear

Those times that we now hold most dear,
Are the ones that, year after year,
We recall to our minds after
Our jolly moments of laughter.

Sometimes, they suddenly appear,
Those times that we now hold most dear;
When we are all gathered around
Some old photographs that were found.

They fade as time continues on,
But they are never fully gone—
Those times that we now hold most dear;
The ones that bring us the most cheer.

Those who were once young now grow old,
And gather in the same household,
As they remember and revere,
Those times that we now hold most dear.

There once was a cool guy named Jack
Jack o’ lanterns attacked his back
	Witch Cate blew straight through

She saved the famed wizard Jack Black

Premium MemberSky Then and Now

Once there were billions of them; dotting our night skies; stars.
So few are seen today; thanks to smog and city lights.
Back then, I thought they were Gods eyes; not heavenly bodies.

There are many constellations; formed by those swirling, ancient bodies.
Scorpio, the Dippers, Lyra, Cancer and more; created by the stars.
Orion and his daughters three; Leo and Delphinus all formed by heavenly lights.

Deep among them sits the Milky Way galaxy; a giant display of holiday lights.
But year ‘round they’re all offered; those dancing, whirling bodies.
Though they’re now few; I love to still view, those sacred universal stars.

So get out your telescopes and view some lovely stars; magnificent light bodies.

Now I'M Free

Now I’m free to stay out all day, no schedule to follow
No need to stop home before going to the gym

Now I’m free from walks in the cold and rain at all hours
Now I’m free from cleaning up wet floors

Now I’m free to go on holiday without pause or concern
No extra planning needed

Now I’m free to stay an extra hour at dinner with friends
No need to be home

Now I’m free

Oh, what I wouldn’t do to be able to give back that freedom,
To see my little Hudson once again and not be free
to do all kinds of things because I need to be home with him.

Written in honor and memory of my Golden Retriever, Hudson

The Season Now is Christmas
By Franklin Price

The Season now is Christmas
There's something in the air
Love and peace I'm feeling
For everyone who's there

I'm saying Merry Christmas
Not Happy Holiday
Such political correctness
Kind of stupid I must say

If not for the birth of Christ
There would not be this Holiday
Whether you believe in him or not
Here's what I have to say

From the  humblest of beginnings
To the cross upon the hill
God sent him here to save us
And If we believe he will

But whether you believe or not
Live what he taught to do
Do unto everyone you meet
As you would have them do to you

So Merry Christmas to you
To your friends and family
May your presents be health and happiness
And believability

Premium MemberWho's the Turkey Now

Well, It was early in the morning
when I stuck the turkey in
Looked down at my dog
as I wore a silly grin
Roasted Turkey, was high up on his list
And He glanced up at me
then looked back as his dish
I guessed he had me trained well
for I understood his sign
But told him it's a big bird
and it'll have to take some time

Then I started getting ready
all the fixings for our feast
Twenty different vegetables
to complement the beast
Then I set the dining table
with Knives forks and dishes
Uncovering the pies
Each one looked more delicious

I nestled in a basket
bread baked the day before
and finished all the trimmings
when a knock came at our door
Our friends and our families
started pouring in our house
and greeted rather cheerfully
by my kids, my dog and spouse

Then, we all circled 'round
the table with a smile
Working all day long
seemed, well worth the while
It was time for the turkey
Now the appetizer gone
But, when I looked in the oven
I forgot to turn it on.

Le Vacance Pretentieuse: Your Favourite Tv Programmes, Now Even Less Understandable

Gargling, a gargoyle’s groan gulps
From the bilingual blackness of TV,
A clockwork advertisement pulps
Knowledge into your worn mind free
Of charge. Nothing but gobbledegook
Everywhere, an insistent humming bee
And you just volunteered for the hook.
You can’t understand it, but still can see

That it’s appealing. Someone wants it.
We now return you to your film with Mr T,
But subtitled. There’s nothing to do but sit,
enjoy – all else is static - and sweatily agree.
Your mind is a sad wastebasket of re-runs;
Rom-coms galore, dubbed films about keys,
Action films with loud explosions and guns.
Poor translation aside, I enjoy foreign Telly.

Winter Now

Wow!Its winter now
It is time for some snow
Indeed a beautiful show
From morning till night
Every moment a delight!

Infront of the Fireplace
Life becomes a chilly place
We put on cashmeres and cottons
So comfortable and always so very warm
Gods heavenly light reaches us each dawn!

It is winter now
So lets renounce
War and hate
Lets polish our world
With peace and love
Until Laughter and happiness
Envelops each and every place!

Hear & Now: the Cold

Sitting here on this cold day
Wishing the cold would go away

Feeling happy and having fun
But from this cold I want to run

When will it stop, when will it end
Because the cold is not my friend

Leave I say and away from my sight
Let me have just on peaceful night
