When I chose to be a witch, I gave up true love
I love to be alone, 'cause eventually people really bug

There is too many mind-games & selfishness in humanity
Thanks, but no thanks - I wanna keep my sanity

Everyone's always in it in the end for just themselves
There are way too many far too gone - they can't be helped

I believe that those that do not bring to the table - don't play
And when the times get rough - they never do stay

When bickering begins, there's much too much of each other
(I'm sure you wish you were doing another)

Like she once told me - when the cat is given - they change
But once you catch on - they then become enraged

If it's not their way, it's no way at all
(Says the motherfvcker, too afraid to fall)

Love is oh so temporary - and only convenient for the moment
If it's gonna be forever in your eyes - then fvcking show it

Compromise, show attentiveness - do little things
'Cause everyone knows what a healthy companionship brings

Quit going into something new - thinking they're like your ex
Why not give everyone new a chance - then see what's next?

I once new a man who thought he was bad,
He couldn’t make you do only wish you had.
In seeking a sequel,
along came his equal.
The sequel was wearing a knuckle do dad.

I once new a boy,
whose disposition was bad.
He relied on fear.

Premium Member Thanksliving Day

I once new a girl from Nantucket
Who sat with a turkey to puck it
It sure was a site
As he put up a fight
But it ended quite quick, when she struck it

She thought He would make Her thanksgiving
And couldn't while He was still living
But She hadn't the will
To simply just kill
Now naked, He wasn't forgiving

Premium Member A State of Apathy

Apathy, is a state decrepit and cold,
Where emotions no longer hold.
A feeling of numbness seems to imbibe,
Every little thing to which you ascribe

Days go by all in a blur,
As if nothing matters anymore.
All that's left is a hollow shell,
A lifeless existence, a living hell.

So let us hold on and not give up,
Let us fight and try to disrupt,
The chains that bind us to this state,
And strive to find a new, a brighter fate.

Take a deep breath, and open your eyes,
Look around you, see the beauty in the skies.
Feel the warmth of the sun, the touch of the breeze,
Let nature's embrace teach you to please.

Find a new passion, an endeavor to explore,
Something that ignites your heart once more.
Let your creativity flow, let your mind roam free,
And let the joy of creation set you free.

A Wonder Wander

I wonder
in the past
did a creator sing
a scientist perhaps
experimental mishaps
an explosion in nothing
and he was killed in the blast

I wonder
an alternate invention
could there be a maker
of this huge universe song
who when bored, moved along
to seek pastures new, a forsaker
and now in a different dimension

I wonder
about the connection
between time and space
only history in the night skies
because how the speed of light flies
and will other life reach our place
maybe that will be our direction

I wonder
about billions of years
we're not even a percent
but we think we're the thing
forever those destined to sing
who think they're heaven sent
passing down DNA of their tears

I wonder
what else shall I do today
get a shower and a bite
then meet a few friends
a joke or talk trends
filling day and night
my part in the play

I wonder...
what do you wonder...

Living Truth

Ancient guides of venerated truth
Stumble through numb spiritual graveyards
Where truth casts its shadow in chiseled words,
A signature of affection,
On moss bathed alabaster stones that once
Gleamed in treasures of veracity,
Autographed insights of the ancient sages
Screams out the litany of wisdom
Then begs, like balm, the insomniac unconscious heart
To intone a resurrection,
A living trove of living verbs in action
Breaking from the bondage of a chrysalis redecorated
With raw promises to shake off stagnation,
Relight the lantern star of the eternal spring’s veracity
Springing into actions that rise from stone inertia
Insight’s revelation releases a new song of songs
Truth that lives anew –
That propels the quest of new a-ha’s
That plants new reasons for renewed actions
In the waiting heart embraced.

Here Comes Christmas

This year is new, a change in theme, something not done for a long time

The last few years there seemed no point, so just me and dog not thinking much

It’s like this for many I know, and I joined this group, not a negative thing, just how it was

Touring villages and towns, admiring the lights, the trees, the festivity

But from the outside, by choice, by design

This year is different, now with partner we will be with her family

I am not sure how I feel, I examine my feelings being honest with myself
I know I do this for her, and to honour the invitation of parents

I know I am happy, and will enjoy the day, cooking, talking

There will be moments of thoughts, back to a different family, when it was different

Perhaps I avoided this, maybe the reason

Time to jump back in feet first, see where this new moment goes to

Watch out Santa, here I come!

BOTOX BRIGADE

Oh so numb, I can’t stop myself drooling,
Can’t feel my brows, touch them, one is drooping,
My lips I feel are massively huge and swollen,
I should have realized that this was a bad omen.

My cheeks are sore, injected frequently,
Obsessed by the media talk increasingly,
I dare not put lipstick on, for I’ll look like a clown,
I stare at the mirror in horror, I have no frown.

For boobs I requested a size thirty six
Simply wanted to be one of the chicks,
But the surgeon had extra silicone,
Even the so famous Dolly I outshone!

A nip and a tuck were done on my tummy,
Which I inherited after becoming a mummy,
And after the final touch of a firmer bum
I looked like new, a different me I had become.

I knew I was in fact addicted,
This was to me often predicted,
Developed scars, no recognizable features,
Too late, now one of many Botox cheaters.

Apron strings loosed, untied as maternal voices faltered and cried when a soprano voice lost its elan and a boy became a man.Peer pressure would not hide and difidence was replaced with pride.Desire, with warm whispers heard,
questions answered with just three words, filled with joy and love a union blessed from above .Holding a first-born,as two self-absorbed,became three.
Trust was born-a-new a changed life came into view as a work of art with gifts to share and impart.

I saw my swarthy skin shine again a little bright
The rays of my imperfection covering my face like a veil
I saw my shadow multiply images of my existence
Thus my soul remembered the sound of my heart beat

I saw my swarthy skin shine again a little brighter
This time I new, a drop of Jesus’ blood was poured in my cane

Ever Mine In Time

Loving you made me feel brand new a new spark that started inside me but now I feel so lost unreformed whisking in the air like mist from the sweet kisses I once had thinking you were different but now am feeling different why can’t I be loved the way I love them ? Questions unanswered by many of mine dandy affairs asking myself will this keep going will I ever find the one that desires me as I do to them but a man hand picked by god himself is to be formed into my ever be Ever mine all in twine in my fantasy and dreams never hurting again living life with the peace I wanted and dying once more in his arms feeling the warmth of his skin so sensitive to touch knowing that he will never turn a blind eye from mines and him flying with me cradled in his arms forever will you ever be mine or would you come in time like fine wine that gets better and better like sour lime

Premium Member A Boy and a Baseball Mitt

His dad gave him a baseball mitt
   Brand-new, a 'Rawlings,' a perfect fit
The boy's face glowed with happiness and pride
He hugged his dad tight, then went outside

To play catch with his best friend
He had to break that mitt in
Make it softer, flexible and pliable
He'd catch every ball, be 'Mr. Reliable'

The boy played 'till it was too dark to see
Then raced back home, bursting with glee
Tucked the ball into the pocket of his glove
He'd sleep on it that night, his pillow above

So the mitt's pocket would be perfectly formed
To the shape of the ball it would precisely conform --
Proclaiming, "Dad, you're the best dad there ever could be!"
Love coming straight from his heart ~ Wouldn't you agree?
