On the narrow streets of the city where light barely sneaks in,
The best people meet their end beneath a forgotten sheet of paper,
While the worst rise in bronze, statues for ages of oblivion,
Stone pilgrims on which pigeons leave their mark unabashedly.
In this theater of life, where values are overturned on the empty stage,
Unknown heroes disappear

The Narrow Road
 Walk the narrow road.
 Keep life simple on your own.
 Take time out to enjoy life.
 Stay humble in delight.
 A footpath on the sand.
 In the dark, hold up the lamp.
 Help others in need.
 Walk through faithfully.
 Don’t be a part of this world.
 With guidance, don’t worry about tomorrow.

Through the narrow window of time, I see fleeting shadows of lives that remain unfulfilled

Men bound to desks like to foreign altars, captive in routine and silence,
Souls enclosed in a shell of paper and numbers, with hearts beating under the cold light's clocks,
Once hunters of dreams and stars, now hunters of signatures and senseless approvals,

My Choice

One road is rocky
with many holes.
The entrance gate is
narrow and few find it.
It is steep, with a
long climb.
A narrow path
with treacherous footing.
But the end is a place
of eternal rest, beauty and peace.

The other road is smooth
with no potholes.

and high and many find it.
The road is wide 
no guard rails needed.

Confined within the steep banks of a narrow mind 
is a cryptic river where men stumble in and go blind
They construct reinforced dams that hold them back
from accepting the candid truth, white is not black
Like the slow-moving current of a trickling stream
their thoughts are clogged and clot like curdled cream

In the narrow corridors of lost time,
where light seeks its shadows in dusty corners,
words sit like butterflies with heavy wings,
suffering under the weight of unspoken silences.
In the silent cells of a forgotten world,
my books traverse walls, like birds searching
for the sky in a windowless world,
trying to free thoughts trapped in chains of paper.

The path is narrow
I kick dirt toward the edges 
Making it wider

In the labyrinth of memories, their steps dance gracefully through narrow corridors

In the labyrinth of memories, their steps dance gracefully through narrow corridors,
Silent echoes of untouched hearts, intertwined with the thin thread of experience,
Their eyes - crystalline mirrors reflecting a universe not yet fully explored,
Their laughter - a cascade of hopes pouring over ungnawed rocks of doubt.
Souls untouched by the storms of disappointment, rose petals still

Narrow Roads

When the roads are grand
yet your mind still will not pass
the toll was too expensive
it required a conscience
with some empathy

ignorance and evil
hold hands when they dance
to de humanize
partners in crimes

Where emotions tread  
Love, dread, pain, sorrow, and hatred 
Journey towards heaven's gateway.  

Like a two-way traffic lane
Vessels surf with joy and pain
Weathering storms and hurricanes  
Yet tender care remains the same.
