Seed in the Dark

Lotus flowers grow from black mud.
This is what Aaro sees,
standing at the edge of a 
pond full of lotuses in the garden.

Beauty rises from darkness.
Pink petals open above murky water,
green leaves spread 
like hands on the surface.

The roots know secrets 
the flowers will never tell,
how strength comes from 
places without light or colour.

Through the labyrinth of my thoughts, I float like a shadow on murky waters

Through the labyrinth of my thoughts, I float like a shadow on murky waters,
seeking meaning in the silent noise of the world,
where men believe their lives are extraordinary,
but in essence, they are nothing more than withered leaves carried by the wind of indifference.
Their stories, like crumbs scattered on arid ground,
awaken only a desire to erase

Dark thoughts offer me great despair,
sparking rhymes who say I don’t care,
shadows drift across moonlit lanes,
troubling fear, who echoes my pains.

Dismal dangers breath twilight’s tears,
aching, trembling ‘til the smoke clears,
tossing, turning, all

Upon reflection
Making ripples upon the stagnant  murky pool
Of  heartfelt sunken treasured memories
Of yesterday that went all way too fast

The Ocean Beckons -POTD

The waves crushing her tiny body with striking blows
White creamy wash caresses her golden skin as the wave slows
Moving sluggishly towards the horizon
Because of a recurring vision she hopes she’ll arise in
Her feet digging deep into the sand as it sinks between her toes
Emersed, with arms folded she prepares and off she goes

Reflections in murky waters is never clear
Kind of like ones fear
Not sure what you really see
In all the possibilities that be
Imagination takes flight
This can't be right
It fills in the blank with the thoughts of the worse kind
It's goal is to cloud the mind
Make you unsure
Truth becomes a blur
Darkens all you see
Hard to break free

bluesy blurbs 
    of
brumal 
    blackness
      its 
  crawling 
clasps
   of 
silvery 
  gnawing
    below 
      shriveled

once …

there - with trunks of monkey’s meth
there grew a breadth of bunky breaths
deplored by dreaded, drunky deaths
to calm their chemic coggers 
the fame of phlegmic foggers

so deep and dark those dribble bibs
didst dig their dearest double-dibs
and drowned, the fartish fizzles fibbed
and, preened with puzzled puzzlers
quite choked their chucking guzzlers

tho bending tendrils tripped those drips
while

Tales of a Hero

After a long drought, it started to rain.
Breaking the spell on the parched plain
Rainfall fell steadily at the begin.
Quenching the land and everything within.

Many hours later of continuous rain
Torrents of water swallowed the arid terrain.
Debris and buildings quickly swept through
People and animals lost their lives too.

He Was the First To Step Into the Murky Waters

Adventure had been born with him just like his very heart,
Facing challenges and taking risks had been, for him, fine-art;
His selection, hence, as a warrior, was purely cogent,
Toward solving any problem he proved himself potent...!

Shells spread like dead sharks above terrace or below basement;

Ghostly Shadows Set a Murky Stage

A dreary sun shoots its milk-warm and colorless sun rays that
in this jovial season should be harmonious and radiant;
raves themselves are wearing the funeral dress...
they croak, lament, and cringe at ghostly shadows
that set a murky stage toward early sunset...
shouldn't everyone raise their melancholic chant?

If gold lures avid seekers so does our luminescent sun
which slowly crosses
