Desolate, windswept trees are shivery,
when red and purple leaves are falling.
Ungathered cherries hang in reverie!
Desolate, windswept trees are shivery,
engaged in multihued, cool creativity.
Goodbye violet birds skyrocket, calling!
Desolate, windswept trees are shivery,
when red and purple leaves are falling.

green has gone dormant
days have become much shorter~
autumn's gentle grip
maple proudly flaunts
multihued autumnal leaves~
a feast to the eye
dry leaves fly about
they all hasten to their grave~
to become fodder

The paths of my mission would be rows of roses, I thought.
To my shock, in tipsy turvy twists and turns, I got tossed
Didn't I desire to know the known to know the unknown?
Each wish of mine, like worn-out shoes of a nomad, got torn.
The moon of joy in my gains should have been at the zenith.
Struggles, like palms, tall-grow. Bliss, like dried grass, peeps from beneath.
Like iron-rods in saline waters getting eroded
The weakness of my will, like pumpkin buds, is unfolded.
Virtues, as fallen scaffoldings, are disintegrated.
Absurdity, like the blood red moon, is reiterated.
My vigour, before my puniness, like a dewdrop, fades.
Apprehension and anxiety, like gems, I adorn.
Pessimism lifts its head like boom-slang cobras from burrows.
Coffins and graves compose knells. The deceased have no repose.
Death and decay have become the blessed norm of the day.
Despair and disappointment, like thorns, pierce through every way.
Self-confidence is erased like mud paths during monsoons.
Will the Times, like the rainbow chromas, bring multihued boons?

Flora in its way, fauna in its way; work hand in hand.
Uniting all, keeping the health of habitats intact
Does my existence incorporate another extant?
Do I live and let live as coconuts and palm trees act?
Plants breathe carbon dioxide, grow, and breathe out oxygen.
Oxygen, in turn, enables animals to nourish
Who does more harm? Who does less? Tiger, oxen, or vixen?
It's consciousness and conscience that should make morals flourish.
The growth of one's self is mirrored in others' growth as well.
When one's attitudes change, change in another too is seen.
Should change be stirred or in an equilibrium-spell?
Does any concept, here, hold a precise path in between?
Concepts clench; philosophies progress; theologies throb
Birth, growth, and death are plays with many a multihued garb.

Yonder hills
are covered with an array of flowers,
we may only see this once
when our eyes are neither closed nor open.
Those far trees are as green as the sea
when the sun is low in the water,
or perhaps
beneath the sea-green
they are
as multihued as any rainbow.
We perceive only
their imperfect reflections -
eyes deceive and the world
is upside down.
All mountains are aquamarine blue
whether covered in ice or not,
this we may want to be true
or deny,
yet truth is a glimpse into a window
that we first must open.
Unfortunately, we have long since
painted this world,
with a blind artists brush.
Vision comes
when the light of the mind
is brighter than that which is seen.

Ever-changing Autumn, its shapes and shades.
Fanning breath stirs the heavily laden;
transforms and redraws like playful charades,
prepping, and grooming, all the misshapen.
A pastor's mural paints pure from trespass,
ever-changing Autumn, its shapes and shades.
Prismatic design grounds tell-tale stained glass
and forest steeples are Redwood's crusades.
Kids taking the plunge, multihued cascades,
succumb to trampling and crushing horseplay.
Ever-changing Autumn, its shapes and shades,
the bejeweled waits: Sunday's white bouquet.
Awe striking vista blessing amble eyes,
bounteous nostalgia praising persuades.
Peace thine harmonious artwork baptize,
ever-changing Autumn, its shapes and shades.

My love for this multihued world, like a magnet, pulls me,
The unknown, (portrayed like pie in the sky), surges my fear;
My rebirth, though it looks like a myth, brings a bit of glee,
An absurdity, yet, within, often seems to appear...!
Everything, here on earth, looks like a celluloid fancy,
Days dawn with wonders, optimistic and pessimistic;
Joys and pains, like mushrooms after rains, are often chancy,
Caring and sharing, like heaven, make life altruistic...!
A single human life, here, is enough, if lived deftly,
Born again to die again, is a mere musical chair;
The soul should find its place of rest, being lived intently,
A life, clear as a crystal stream, is my only prayer...!
Finding the divine in each being be my constant strife,
May Nirvana (perfect peace and happiness) fill my life…!!!

"I believe we all have the choice as to whether we fulfill our destiny,
but our fate is sealed." ~ Paulo Coelho
Clotho is the savvy spinner Goddess
Weaving the destiny of man flawless,
With the twirl of her gossamer hands
She creates vibrant multihued bands.
Across the heavens her domain spreads
With the web of shining silken threads
She garners the straying morning mist
and the sparkling sunbeams in the twist.
So that my soul may find salvation
and save me from my own damnation
She blazes a trail on my pliable soul
and the reins of my Fate duly control.

Dazzling dawn with the sun rising high
Shines like a vivid kaleidoscope,
Spreading iridescence in the sky,
Crimson orange golden rays sparkling,
The Master Artist's multihued dye;
Sunrise unravels new mysteries,
Myriad colours pleasing the eye,
Aurora's beauty fills us with hope,
Daybreak delights - To darkness, goodbye.

Sparrows chirp, parrots squawk
Koel sings koo-Ooo, squirrel squeaks
Leaves rustle, wind howls...
Melodious music fills me with exhilaration
Sun paints picturesque scene
Moon and stars glow
Sky a dynamic canvas
Multihued colourful flowers
Dance on multitudinous multihued green leaves
Colourful butterflies and dew drops ...
I watch mesmerized
Greens are soothing and relaxing
Colours sprinkled on them bring joy
Tempting fruits, variety of birds
Loving caress of breeze
I feel God everywhere
Blissful vibrations fill me
Sitting on green soft grass
Watching insects crawling
Being close to nature
Feeling one with it
I loose my identity
Mind is tranquil
Nature, you are my greatest weakness
When in midst of you I forget
I am an housewife and mother
I have duties to perform
I wish to stay in forest
Just you and me
Mud and grass
Flowers and insects
Birds and butterflies
Endless greens

Pale dappled clouds drift across the sky_
Chasing the sun away when she wants to peak out;
And when in the shadow of clouds- there is a chill;
But, still the pretty birds glide and fly;
With many multihued gems floating about;
Calling in high-pitched whining shrills.
While across the water are multicolored shadows;
And scattered bleached rocks (of no particular frills!)
Below the ripples on ripples swim speckled trout;
And the birds are in violent pangs and throes:
As though dancing the quadrille.

I cherish my dear family
And so, I hold them close to me
I cherish all my loving friends
Relationship that never ends
I cherish time spent with my pets
They are part of my life's assets
I cherish watching the flowers
Showcase their multihued powers
I cherish the sun and the rain
Reminders of God's awesome reign
I cherish the song of the birds
They help me pen delightful words
I cherish reading good fiction
And simple poetic diction
I cherish melodic music
According to my mood's sweet pick
Yes, I cherish these little things
Which has helped me try out my wings

Earth wears a mantle of green,
Having shed her robe of white,
Embedding bright new colours,
Spreading her multihued sheen;
Baby fauna jump about,
Dew makes everything look clean,
Little birdies chirp and tweet,
What a fresh resplendent scene!
Look at that magical sight ~
Bright new colours embedding,
Spring is now the reigning queen!

November breezes in with style
Autumn zephyr carries a smile
Multihued leaves, they float around
Before dancing down to the ground
Hope flames high on smoky bonfire
Melting out hatred's dark desire
November dreams make it worthwhile
Autumn rakes up the leaves that pile
Gold and bronze and russet abound
Chromatic colours sure astound
Love burns in our humble heart's pyre
Kindling faith when we most require
November knows Winter's hostile
Therefore it lets Autumn compile
Various patterns on leaf mound
Dazzling the eyes, while we're spellbound
Life plays under God, the dyer
Before ceding to snowy mire.
