A Mothers Love

As they smile in their sleep and dream of happy things

With covers tucked they slip away and hear their Mothers sing

Sweet lullabies and stories too, they slowly drift away

Knowing Mom was always there to help them through their day

And when the sun comes up again to start the day anew

She will be right there for them just like they always knew

She will always help them on their way and help them rise above

Come what may, She’s always there and that’s a Mother’s Love

Because Its Inspection Day 12-22-2010

deep in this morning
i the processor must clean
set aside the wants of the day
and do the musts, in every dust wiping way

rub and scrub
till its all done
and hope i have time for a little fun
before the night set in

because inspection day (12-22-2010) will be coming soon

Lucky for me
I only been here, for about four months...

Premium Member The Motion and Mom

Remembering my mother today
Some of the things she used to say
Many of the caring gifts she gave
Some of the humor I thought just hers

One item that she said stuck with me
Was the day she was stirring frosting
And her whole body was in motion
Well at least several chubbie parts

My brother got to laughing at her
She gave him__ the look__ over glasses
And she said, "Well no one can cook good
If they don't have the correct motion."

Since that day I heard Justin Wilson
On his great cooking TV show say
"One cannot cook unless they have it__
You know interesting cooking motion."

This is just one memory of Mom
Many pass through the channels of mind
Blood is thicker than water so said
Mom adopted me__not blood__just love

Happy Birthday!!

March the birth month of my parents
I often wonder if it was a cold day or
An early spring like day when you were born
Was the sun shining or was it raining

Your momma's were smiling to give you life
I like to think you were smiling when I was born on that
cold January day, a bright spot in the post holiday blues
New years joy!

Love you Birthday bunch--Mom and Daddy

Mothers Day Poem

Mother Mother
Sweet Mother of mine
My love for you
Shall last til the end of time
the warmth of your shoulder
and the care that you give
is something I will hold
near and dear to me
for as long as I live
although this mothers day
is more different than most
behind all your smiles
I know you still miss Leebo
but things will get better
as time goes by
You know I am here for you
Especially if you need to cry,
Cry your eye's out
as most mothers would do
On this special Mothers day,
I'll carry the love of two
But please dont be sad
and please don't frown
because rest assured
and YOU know
Leebo is looking down
Laughing and smiling
with that big beautiful grin
thinking about all the great times
you and me had with him,
but this is the end of my poem
I'll make it short and sweet,
 Happy Mothers day momma
From your Son's
Cody and Lee

this poem was dedicated to my mother on Mothers day and My brother who passed away this
past december

2 My Mother

When god took you home; We were left all a lone. When god took you home our hearts
turned to stone. You had a Faith that we praised and you were a gift that god gave. We were
blessed to have a mother like no other. You inspired us to live religiously. You inspired us to
love unconditionally. We will put all that we can in god’s hand. For he is the man that we will
see in the promise land. Not a day goes bye that there aren’t tears in our eyes. Not a day
goes bye that we wish you were still alive. We are blessed each day as we try to live god’s
way. You are under god’s watchful eye. Where you will always be alive. We are lost in sorrow
but we know there is a tomorrow. Thank you for the tears and laughter; we will be friends
forever after. We will always love you, as god will always hold you.

One Day Is Not Enough

One day alone is not enough
To measure universal love
Sculptured in her embodiment
One day alone is not enough
To tell treausre greatest of my heart
Besides the shrine where I serve my Lord.
One day alone is not enough
To fill the void that was her love
And set her caring worthiness apart
And honor her with honey words.

This mother's day then
May day shall blow blues again
And moon to dark I descend
The shrivelling path of pain.
What flowers on her grave
Can fend away the gloom
Of loss? No card can crave
The her eyes' bloom like petals
Withered now within the grave
I vested soul and all to save
You for the gallery of my stars
And finite so the thing I prove
How death can any mortal move
And mother's day make scars.

A Mothers Day Wish

It’s Mothers Day once again,
A time to remember who was, is, and will always be our very best friend.
The person we ran to whenever we hurt,
Or with an old rag and spittle could remove the dirtiest of dirt.

Who could put us in our place with just that special look,
Or would hold us in her lap for hours reading stories from a fairy tale book.
Who’s hand you felt on your head all hours of the night when you didn’t feel good,
Whose beauty is ageless, like only it should.

They are the best teacher we probably ever had,
Always instilling truth and informing us if we were bad.
They are probably the second greatest gift that God ever gave,
They are right behind Jesus wanting us to be saved.

This special day is for our mothers whom we love and revere,
Let God’s Grace pour down on them from Heaven, these ones we hold so very dear.
May this day be the best that you have ever known,
As partial payment from me for all the love that you've always shown.

Dedicated to all the mom's throughout the world:
God Bless you on this special day!
   HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

Happy Mothers Day

Today is precious, and you’re so special predestined from
The foundation of the earth. Wise men with their wisdom
Designated to say, happy mother’s day to all the fine women
Of worth.

Good mothers are those who care and understand
And you are among the few. Lay your hair down
Hold your head up high, enjoy today brand new.

You’re so very special, and great at what you do,
You have trained me well, the right path I should take
Without your love and care my life could be at stake.

I truly honor, and respect my mother every day,
From January to December, and back around again.
So mother’s day for me is every day because she’s my
Dearest friend.

Happy Birthday Mom

Have you ever felt the soft breeze?
Have you sensed its sweet caress?
I have felt a touch
That’s even softer than the silk’s latch…

Yet, it lies hidden within
A single person’s skin
A person whose love rushes through
My blood and soul’s stew…

I treasure that person so much
That I can’t describe how much
I ponder at her eye’s gaze
For it carries wisdom and profession
through every phase…

You are my treasure
For you are my mother…
The one that shall never escape my mind
The one that fills my explodes my sad cloud….

You are so unique
For nothing replaces your gentle knock
That awakens the angel within a person
As it guides those who are blind towards the correct direction…

I grew up in your hands
As you watched me learn how to stand…
Until I flew up high
Raised my wings and flew towards the sky…

Yet…Each year….
A day passes with calm music to the ear
As a melody is played across my lips
Addressing you with a tulip

Slowly…That day approaches…
Quickly…That day passes…
A child stood in front of you that day
But today, she’s a young lady
Wishing you a Happy Birthday…

Mother Day In Heaven

Mothers day is fast approaching,Its the time to show we care,
I look up towards the heavens ,because i know she is there.
She is probable watching over us, like she did when she was here,
Because a mothers love, is for always , not just one day a year.

As we get older ,and its our time to leave this world,
A place in heaven is set aside , for all good boys and girls.
I know my mother is waiting, for her family to be as one again,
So we can all pray together, like we did back then.

Its funny how we drift apart,as we try to find our strides,
But come together on mothers day,to watch her smile with pride.
For her it should be a day of rest, no cooking, cleaning,or washing clothes,
But for anyone who knew my mother, she did all of those.

She would say , just because its mothers day,
The choirs still have to be done,
The cattle still need thier hay,
Sweeping the barn out was no fun.

But she did it all with a smile, never once ask for help,
I guess she figured we had enough to do , looking after ourselves.
So for the times she spent ,and the sharing of care,
Im wishing my Mother ,a HAPPY MOTHERS DAY,for i know she will always be
here.
