The Motion and Mom

Remembering my mother today
Some of the things she used to say
Many of the caring gifts she gave
Some of the humor I thought just hers

One item that she said stuck with me
Was the day she was stirring frosting
And her whole body was in motion
Well at least several chubbie parts

My brother got to laughing at her
She gave him__ the look__ over glasses
And she said, "Well no one can cook good
If they don't have the correct motion."

Since that day I heard Justin Wilson
On his great cooking TV show say
"One cannot cook unless they have it__
You know interesting cooking motion."

This is just one memory of Mom
Many pass through the channels of mind
Blood is thicker than water so said
Mom adopted me__not blood__just love

chubbie parts in motion. oh gosh, she sounds like a fun mom. and if you were truly adopted, then that is kind and your mother, who loves you not through blood is a caring. -Always&Forever Lynette
