French Mistreat

Silent black and white
She goes
In reluctant
French stain on you
Goodnight
Sleeps
On mine

Devious

Irish Poetry

you get what you give

You get what you give
If you give respect respect to others
You will get respect
If you mistreat you friends
You are going to lose them
And you will end up alone
And isolated
From the outside world
If you make a promise to
Your friends you should keep it
If you break the promise
You will be letting your
Friends down

There Ain't no cure for hate

There ain't no cure for hate
My friends
Why do you hate my guts so much
What have I done to you
To be mistreat by you friends
I never mistreat you on friends
I have lots of respect for you friends
I never mistreated you once in my life

I want to break free

I want to break free
I want to break free
From my sleepless night
I toss back and forth
Yes it drives me crazy
Because I feel exhausted
And I can't sleep
I want to break free
From my sorrows
That I have
If you mistreat me
You are going to lose me
And I am not going to be your
Friend anymore
I don't want to be mistreated anymore
Black people
We are family
Remember that
I accept you the way you are
Black people we are all born Christians
We are not going to live forever
Because we were not meant to live forever
We have to be grateful
That we are all healthy
We can't forget to pray to our God

Premium Member CHILD ABUSE IS AN EPIDEMIC

Children today, are the future of tomorrow
Why destroy a life before it starts
A world problem that's overlooked
I can't understand why we mistreat our kids

Society condones this criminal offense
Where not enough attention is given
As parents, home violence must stop
We must be more accountable to our kids

Case loads are of epidemic proportions
Which are tolerated by the court system
We get frustrated when no action is taken
Cradling the law into our own hands

Someone please help, I'm crying for help!
It's difficult to face such an environment
Your self esteem and respect are shattered
This is an epidemic of child abuse

Premium Member Behind The Curve

Do you need me as much as fish
A waterproof raincoat would need?
A piece of salmon on your dish
Is dressed with sprouts and beet
You watch the breaking news report
One candidate withdrew
His rival did survive from shot
Looks like he’s getting through
The world will get what it deserves
You vaguely think of this
And there I am, behind the curve
Still casually exist
I’d love to come across the floor
To see your face again
Why you mistreat me like a foe
Unblock my weary brain
The words are said, the deeds are done
All days belong to you
And all the evenings, when the sun
Tints up your eyes with blue.

Premium Member THANKFUL FOR THI INNOCENCE OF CHILDRN

Today I’m thankful for the innocence of children
and for Rabindranath Tagore
the Indian poet, playwright, painter, composer and philosopher.

who said (and I’m paraphrasing here)…that he was of the mind
every child comes to us with a message from their creators…
The creators message:
that they are not yet discouraged with humankind.

But as our creators watch we humans continue to mistreat each other…
as we have…century after century…
I wonder…
how much more patient with us…our creators are willing be

Something your not

I am not allowed to be it
Not allowed to show it
Can't be visible
Can't be seen
Be anyone
Wash me
Hide me
Cover me up
Pretend I am someone that I am not
Pretend that I am some sorta of actor in a film
Someone new
Someone who can hold their own
Why is it a crime?
All I want is to be on time
Like everyone else is
Just to love
And be loved
I will be locked away
Throw away that key
They will mistreat you
And hold you to ransom
Batter you
Kick you
Until you have nothing left in your tank
Learn to be ashamed of it
Self - shame
And self - harm
I can't help it
I am it
I love it
I can't change my mind
I am like this
This is it
It is me
Within my DNA
Part of me
Can't be me
Is it a crime
Locked up for a long time
Never see that sunlight
Sunrise
Fresh air
Feel that touch
Feel those lips
Touching mine

ALL ARE CHILDREN

Why don’t we show them love?
Why are we so rude?
Why don’t we treat them well?
Why don’t you show equality?
Why are they mistreated
Why! Yet it is your blood, red blood.

Is it because of their skin colour?
Is it because of their sexes?
Is it because of their background?
Is it because you were forced to do this job?
Is it because you are revenging?
You teachers who punished you.

Why do you give core punishment?
For the other
Do you even find time to talk to the other?
Why are the others rights not respected?
Yet they are all children.
All are children
They are the youngsters
The fathers of tomorrow
The school masters of tomorrow
But which image are you portraying
Should they also mistreat their male students like you do.
All are children.

Premium Member Out Of Sync Melody Rimas Dissolutas

My boiling point’s hit third degree;
‘Lying swathed in euphoric slick.’
Your lyrics demand a reply;
What’s up with no resolution?

Left an out of sync melody,
finish every strum that you pick;
I am aware your humor’s wry,
but so is my ammunition;

I’m what you need to amplify,
don’t you dare mistreat my passion.

Premium Member Benevolence of Forgiveness

On troubled roads of life, when opposing sides collide,
Conflict of emotions clamors, agitating ego and pride,
While empathy warns: let forgiveness be your guide,
As benevolent angels, in missives of compassion chide.

Mired in wins and losses, when humanity strums offbeat,
Adversaries propagate hatred, and blatantly mistreat,
As meaningless conversations puff up, donning conceit,
While expressions of solemn amiability retreat in defeat.

A proffer of calm and goodwill, checks enemy’s reign
When sanctity prevails, calming a perturbed domain,
As atonement and humility heal, soothing angst of pain
And disturbed vibes seeking revenge, begin to wane.

As nobility of repentance tenders offers of mercy, grace,
Malevolent behaviors recede, ashamed in disgrace,
And enlightenment of intellect inspires vacuous space,
When hosting redemption, reformed enemies embrace.

In affluence of cognitive thoughts informed minds elate
Harboring tolerance and sympathy, discarding hate,
Being harmonious with peace, mundane life they liberate,
Achieving balance within, unfazed by travails of fate.

Premium Member Practice What You Preach

We teach our children the rights and wrongs
The correct way to behave and be
Manners, morals, fairness
Kindness and honesty

Be respectful to all of life’s creatures
Do not hurt or mistreat
No verbal, emotional, physical abuse
From violence you retreat

Lately, l feel disillusioned
With the behaviour l have seen
Of “supposed” adults
Words and actions obscene

Hurtful words, inappropriate conduct
Disrespect, disregard, ugly displays
I wonder what our children would think
Watching how their “teachers” honestly behave!

Forgiveness

The hardest thing in life
To really ever endure
Is a heart split because of mistreat
A heart broken in two
There is a such thing as forgiveness
But it's a battle everyday
Sometimes it's not because of ethics or morals
It's because of the games people play
Inside most try to be strong
And let the right out do the wrong
However in a world filled with selfishness
One may ask themselves in the corner of forgiveness
Do I belong
When you seek peace the only thing is one that remains
Let honesty and truth be your testament
And let kindness
Get through u forgiveness storm of rain

Life

You're precious enough to be wasted.
To get the better of you many never rested.
Some never tasted the taste of how you taste.
Some prefer you simple and cheap,
Some luxurious and fancy.
Some rich and peaceful,
some just prefer rich.
They dont realise every inch of you matters.
Every "bitter-sweet" medicine you give counts.
Every second that goes to waste counts.
This will cause a lot of regressions.

Beautiful enough to let us dream.
You give us a choice to take action on
our dreams or either keep on dreaming.
Some cherish your beauty and your worth.
Some delusionally mistreat and
Disrespect you for some reasons.
Some enthusiastically surrender you,
they profusely believe that whenever
Some uninvited guests arrive they can never
Be more proud.

No matter which direction we turn our head,
Drugs and lawlessness continues it’s spread.

We vote to legalize things currently banned,
putting the illegal element in direct command.

Some try law changing when it doesn’t fit them,
and most disagreements are reason to condemn.

Social media has evolved into a coward’s tool,
we ruin social standing, and cause bullying at school.

Most morals are gone and we’re filled with hate,
if hurt, to get even, that person we invalidate.

It’s in the numbers of illegals breaching our borders,
the cost is billions as they become resource hoarders.

We’re running out of space so some sleep on he street,
causing much resentment and some will mistreat.

When they come many bring their socialist belief,
wouldn’t sealing the border bring lasting relief?
