    Porky Pig and Dairy Cow-Moon
        did up X-mas at the local saloon

     Where Olive Oil and Pepe le pew
        had already downed more than a few

   Grandpa slid down the chimney X-mas night

      When he dusted himself off

         His bottom was black ...

            But the chimney was white

little Robin perched on snow covered fence,
out in open without any defence,
Kestrel saw an easy meal,
considered moral appeal,
In Xmas show love- no room for offence!

the joys of sleet turning into snow,
are of X-mas to be ushered soon,
brings cheer to hearts as X-mas lights glow!

What is a virus,

But a mutation of cells?

Yes, it's true, some are shiny,

Some have bells.

Whistles too,

Like me and you,

Doing, consistently, the opposite

Of what we should do.

Blowing the horn,

Banging the gong,

One we should have, could have,

Sounded for so long and,

Though, now, it just seems wrong.

Are we strong or, at least, stronger

When our words instill fear?

A thirst

X-Mas

Coughing and sputtering...
The cold night air hurts my lungs...
I inhale my cigarette and Google the freezing point of peroxide... 
My days have turned to mundane madness...
My nights blurr past like a speeding train...
I dream of breakfast even though it's 9 at night and I'm awake...
I count my nickels and dimes in hope of a biscuit
