Grandpa slid down the chimney X-mas night
When he dusted himself off
His bottom was black ...
But the chimney was white
He became what we are-
so we could be His kin
He became what we are-
to ransom us from sin
He became what we are-
to make us what He is
little Robin perched on snow covered fence,
out in open without any defence,
Kestrel saw an easy meal,
considered moral appeal,
In Xmas show love- no room for offence!

Colors of roses,
Bliss of cherries.
The carolling bells,
Smiling candles.
Herd heroes excited,
Sombre flowers lighted!
Snow angels flying,
Silky stars shaking!
Heavenly love,
Bloom at night !!
Mas que nada
I just want to live
My life for God
God is my Father people
Please people
Don't put ideas on my head
That I am doing a bad thing
Living For God
People I want to make my Father happy
And that is what he is expecting from me
Some special seasons seem sad
oh-so solemn
Others -- sallow, slow, even silly
But X-mas season 'tis to savor
soothing, silky, serene
sending us soaring skyward
with its satiny, snowy scenes

On the 12th day of kiss-mass my true love sent to me
12 dirty undies
11 socks a stinking
10 shoes a humming
9 shirts for pressing
8 trousers
7 days of take-out boxes
6 flagons of beer
5 D V D's
4 mischievous children
3 dozen wine bottles
2 ex partners
and an engagement ring under the tree
Christ my shepherd
Christ my friend
Christ my servant king.
Christ my shalom
Christ my light
Christ my servant king.
Christ my healer
Christ my judge
Christ my servant king.
Christ my brother
Christ my peace
Christ my servant king.
Christ my witness
Christ my end
Christ my servant king
Life’s about distance
and lack of control
A search for redemption
someone to console
Closer than farther
then farther again
A distant horizon
new history to fend
Excuses are many
the reasons but few
Voices heard calling
though old were once new
A spirit still willing
a body that’s weak
My pathway desponding
—once more do I seek

the joys of sleet turning into snow,
are of X-mas to be ushered soon,
brings cheer to hearts as X-mas lights glow!
the joys of sleet turning into snow,
family bonds with winter wind grow,
log fire, wine and dine, with full moon!
the joys of sleet turning into snow,
are of X-mas to be ushered soon!

Porky Pig and Dairy Cow-Moon
did up X-mas at the local saloon
Where Olive Oil and Pepe le pew
had already downed more than a few
Porky Pig and Cow-Moon
joined in by singing a tune...
But when they courted disaster
by all getting plastered
They were tossed out on their keisters

Hoje e sempre;
Sonhe mas,
nunca tenha nos sonhos teu senhor!
Imagine sempre
mas
sem fazer dos planos imaginativos tua meta!
Inspire sim,
e
sempre descreva o Triunfo e o Desastre
Pricipalmente
Trate esses dois impostores de igual modo.
Preencha o minuto implacavel
Com sessenta segundos valorosos!
Assim Tua sera a Terra
e tudo o que nela existe,
E — o que importa — voce se torna humano!
Coughing and sputtering...
The cold night air hurts my lungs...
I inhale my cigarette and Google the freezing point of peroxide...
My days have turned to mundane madness...
My nights blurr past like a speeding train...
I dream of breakfast even though it's 9 at night and I'm awake...
I count my nickels and dimes in hope of a biscuit in the morning...
Life is just a long hospice stay...
Merry Christmas

No Mas, No Mas
Written: by Tom Wright
February 2015
Soon after rising my thought process,
Becomes consumed by negativity;
Not what I desire, but what life has bequeathed me,
Perhaps that is all the respect I’ve earned.
Most days, I sit, feeling like a broken man,
Life has knocked me down, but never out,
I have fought a good fight and the final round
Finds me behind on the scorecard,
And about to cry No Mas, No Mas,
And throw in the towel;
Your the devil in a dress;
stickly sweet sin.
I love the sound of your voice, the light feeling i get.
Your a rush, just like a drug, racing threw my veins.
I get high, oh so very high. I swear i could fly!
But your pain fills me like a syringe; feeling my chest with
blackness and turning my heart to ash.
I am nothing more , nothing less. I am so lost within you. How can i find my
way out?
Even Devils couldn’t tempt or soothe as sex and wealth they offer me.
These things are meager swings of mood – its witches' tools I want for me!
Henbane, hemlock, liverwort,
the left foot of a crow,
Saturn’s fumes and sulfur dust,
an image of my foe.
The withered pose of petal rose and Vervain’s vile tea,
the spider’s leg and lizard’s tail with deadly nightshade seed;
such salts and stones and baby’s bones,
bloodroot, bat, and bee.
These little things the Devil brings
are all I want for me!
