The lifting of the veil
a revealing of all that was concealed
some see beauty, others bewail
regardless of feelings all will yield
the separation has begun
from the goats and sheep
everyone get ready for the arrival of the Son
some will shout for joy, others will weep
a metamorphous is taking place
the Bride is making herself ready
we are about to gaze into His face
for some the price will be too heavy
prepare the way
for the coming of the King
there is no more delay
the trumpets are sounding
and the veil is lifting

Yesterday, you were two,
Today, you've become one;
A single string, knotted
Into a bow of eternal love:-
As trials and tribulations
test and tease your string,
The tighter the boe-knot
Must bind itself:-
An ocean's salt and its water
Do not flow in separation;
Rather, they flow as one wave:
Yet, the water remains water
And the salt remains salt:-
Thus must be the flow
Of the bow of your love
In the ocean of marriage:
1 x 1 = 1 frothing wave:-
Let your union ever be
Like the sun and the moon:
An embered reflection of
Life-giving life in blessed oneness:-
Know that love is eternal
And cannot be altered;
She is and can only be
Who and what she is: LOVE!
Always know that love is of God,
Impervious, and surpasses all things;
May you forever be blessed
To sip divine grace from love's saucer:
Her divine cup forever overflowing:-
Miles apart in the gleam, I believe her,
Upright on the porch, staring at the mighty above,
Her glassy eyes shimmering with a deceptive smile,
Her loose hair flowing like ocean waves.
Must she be seeing the moon similar as mine?
Our children lie in slumber deep,
Too young to grasp the storms we face.
Here I stand, lost in whispers of the dark,
Unformed, without any foresight.
Oh, my love! How will I ever repay those emotions?
The deepest depths no longer sting,
Perhaps the Almighty is a reconsideration away.
What have I done so horrendous,
For you to endure this?
My soul feels lost in its entirety.
Where a blink's separation takes us closer to certainty,
My beloved, forgive me for this single night of parting.
If there is a strong mind
There is no separation
If the dream is of two
It will never remain unfulfilled.
Not husband's money
Husband support and love
Is the best gift
In a woman's life.
They were the definition of marriage
My parents' union seemed flawless
Their bond was built on courage
In their hearts, love was fearless.
But that night, the thunder struck
I saw a broom and a hen weaponized
I saw the danger anger and trust provoked
The story of their divorce, never fully realized.
Their separation to me was scary
Though I wasn't in anyone's custody
My childhood felt a motherless void
Without God's grace, my light would've been destroyed.
Yet, their relationship is a book
Every page filled with wisdom
A crystal-clear stream
From which I'll always draw knowledge.
The Disaster.
When you play the helpless victim,
making me out to be a whore.
I'll move out of the equation,
Your fantasy villain, no more!
When I feel like a worthless slave,
that disappointed his master
Please accept my resignation,
Yours’s Faithfully,
The GrandMaster.
Two pairs of eyes could see more than most can,
It was as if future nor past did matter,
What mattered was present served in a platter,
And warm lips froze as if in blissful zen.
Talking were they the tongue of reticence—
A duet sung serenely sotto voce,
And words vouched not by lungs, a strange mute voice
Deciphered by the estranged two at once.
Love vibrates deeply unknown depth to seek,
And is much less prone to prose than is sung,
It being evolution's oldest tongue,
A dance of life in search of sublime peak!
Today the end seemed of their life's sole search,
The two love birds had found their long-lost perch. ________________________________________________

Poet’s note: Two long-separated souls met after an agonizing wait. Sure, they had many things to share with each other: complaints, frustrations, how they weathered their long separation. But the joy that they met overwhelmed them, and then nothing but the sound of silence survived. The word zen used here does not refer to any Buddhist philosophy, but simply to meditation like stance. The word zen has come from Sanskrit dhyaan.
How do I thrive?
Having faith,
Self-discovery,
Having belief.
That’s what makes me
Feel alive.
What is a life
Without growth
And full of pain?
It’s a struggle,
Like rain
When all you want
Is a sunny day.
My sunshine,
That’s my son,
He is the key
To the recipe to thrive.
Thriving,
Alive,
He is my sunshine.
Sometimes it feels like
My entire life
Has been
Time wasted,
It feels like
So much time
Yearning for freedom.
All I want is a life
Worth living,
Not a lie.
Is that too realistic,
Too high of expectations
Must I lower my standard
To sunshine through saturation.
I always welcomed
The chance
To aspire more fulfilling
Aspirations,
To desire a self full of
More determination.
Road blocks
Slowed the road to
Reaching my expectations,
On the edge,
I cried out,
Head first I dove into
Chronic separation.
My sunshine deserves more,
No more depression spells,
No separations,
No addict in his life
Creating messes.
That’s why in the
Here and now,
My recovery is thriving
And I’m chasing
My aspirations,
My dreams are becoming life
And our life is
Full of life
Because I’m thriving.
Temptation has kept many warm
Every relationship has its right and wrong
Dissatisfaction is in everyone
More we want, younger can be better
Before your correction know personal preference has connection with emotional reference
Sexual desire can expire and still get fired
Judge not if you don't have experience
Some feelings you can't cheat but bare with careful and care
When you have the one or two to share
Being open in a relationship has relation to an open relationship
Let's face the facts
One partner or a lifetime partner is somehow a lie
You can't deny you can love many people at once
Relationship, rebound, separation the heart is not at bay
Secretly polygamy rules over monogamy
Love is a sentiment relevant in emotions but not a backbone to marriage
Trust is vacant when it comes to who you bone
Love on the surface is easy to clone
Its a puzzle to be in this entanglement

Love at first bite takes you into a loving scene that surprises you at night. Darkened skies energizes the mosquitos as they fly. It’s like a mosquito in a dress that desires for human flesh. She rattles your heart with love at first bite that rises your pain above the endurance kite. You fell into her itching potion and cried out loud showing hurtful emotions. Strangely you want to marry her while at the same time you think a way out towards a separation lure. Your passion of love comes with mixed feelings instead of trying to find an antidote for healing. You found a hickey mark on your arm that raises a red flag from the mosquito’s suction alarm. The sun light starts to shine but your love bug is too hard to find. Maybe she was not the one but you know that deep down in your heart it was an awkward fun. God Bless!
Do not close your doors on your tears,
Spontaneous they are, let them flow.
Let your emotions navigate to your heart,
Do not stifle them, let them blow!
I caress your tousled hair,
To gather your tangible thoughts,
Please do not for a moment think I patronise.
I shall wait for eternity if only to hold your hand,
And guide you past this grief stricken life,
A marriage need not be a fixation for life!!!
In my arm I hold you, I know you belong to another,
When I kiss your lips,
you dig your fingers into my back,
Push your body against me and bite my lips,
in reciprocation of my love,
I am intrigued by your quiet endurance..
Walk with me to that portal,
past which lie revelations of true love!
Come with me!!
Each Color a Scar
by Michael R. Burch
What she left here,
upon my cheek,
is a tear.
She did not speak,
but her intention
was clear,
and I was meek,
far too meek, and, I fear,
too sincere.
What she can never take
from my heart
is its ache;
for now we, apart,
are like leaves
without weight,
scattered afar
by love, or by hate,
each color a scar.

I do miss him now that he has gone
He finally left during dawn
To him I always was drawn
He made me feel a pawn
He left by the lawn
There was a swan
He’s don juan
I’m wan
Yawn

Dorrie Ann left Herman again.
It happens on a cyclical schedule.
October, January, April and July.
A quad-yearly thing.
We cousins take her in.
Knowing in a day or two Herman will show up.
Sweet, with candies and maybe flowers.
He will sweet talk her back home
because he is tired of frozen food.
Dorrie Ann could be annoying after the
second day but none of us know this because
Herman’s pattern is cyclical too.
The Secret of Emotional Mist
Evincing nothing, she remained mute
To nuanced intimations of intimacy.
There was nothing left to conclude but that
The greatest prison is boredom,
The greatest torture --- betrayal.
Thus we parted in the concrete now
Leaving behind that nebulous separation
We had shared almost as if a secret,
Venturing towards precious.
Just as an ill-fashioned keystone
can splinter upon contact if
timing is precise...
Why is it that Time seems to know just
When to strike?
Always.
Leads me to believe
That if Time is not anthropomorphic
it is nonetheless prescient
No. That can't be right...
Time predates and outlives all
(has already outlived us all).
Romantics claim other yet I
Dare gainsay them each and every
Spirit can be broken
like glass
Love become mere bagatelle,
Children, still tuned to magic,
laugh at us as we follow our own
Shades to the underworld of
Wonderment and wonder
How did I ever believe
The intangible was not frangible?
