Her Meteor

Actually, I am not a good forecaster
And She was not that good forecaster
Audibly none is that perfect worthily
Adducing, we all are artists worthily.

But she did not know well to count
Boldly, to count meteor’s step out.
Bustle, it came and took her wholly
Wholly handing her tickling beauty.

Cruelly, curtained from her bathroom
Carted from bathroom to dead’s room
Crowned, it eternally took her wholly
Wholly handing her tickling beauty.

Definitely, she is an elevated artist
Decorously, a perfect-enough artist
Descent artist to design a post-life.
Wholly she had a tickling beauty.

Educator she did became ever since
Ever since a cursed meteor took her.
Evaporated, she did leave me empty
Empty, fully, without a matriarch.

Premium MemberMary's Good Friday

Mary,Miriam by her hebrew name,
Jesus' mum,her well known claim to fame;
A young maiden of reticence and tact,
Her tale ,she sang out ,in  Magnificat;
Fled to Egypt to save her son,
Arranged his bar mtizvah, & circumcision done;
Heard & saw many things from the start,
Keeping them secret in her heart;
Remembered by her son ,in her greatest loss,
By these words, uttered from the cross.

Night Sky

Behold, a crack in the sky...
Its a star ! And then it multiplies...
A thousand million
 silver twinkling confetti...
Galactical milk in celestial ballet
Your white bedazzle takes the breath away
Soapsudded moon and underwater candellabra
In an ocean of quiet delivery
Oozes a rhapsody, nay a symphony!
Gliding on golden orbital slide
A bridal comet gown on fluted notes
MAGNIFICAT! MAGNIFICAT! MAGNIFICAT!

Premium MemberQuietude and Boom

I decorate a grotto for you, Mama
where orchids and holy images
embellish this special place and day,
that saintly icons guard you there
as if they beg me to be released
from years of guilty devotion…
Yet I polish their laced clothes;
then end the night waiting
for wind chimes to knell,’ Magnificat.’

Scenes from younger days resound,
while you, Mama, gift me with love and hate
flickering through my confused mind :
And sharpened bells ring in my ears;
the gong of your voice banging
across the hall... yet I still recall,
mouth so tender, droning lullabies
in the soft of window sills, ‘Magnificat’…
How can I reconcile quietude and boom,
when the little girl in me longs for your timber
here beside this special place--
till holy statues listen to my own chimes
and finally,     understand this adoration.

Botticelli's Dream

Adoration of the gifted Magi
In colours of red, gold and blue
Tremendous beauty that captivates you

See the Birth of Venus, seductress
Life seen within her alluring eyes
Silencing mortal mans sad and lonely cries

In La Primavera, Allegory of Spring
Such splendor in the garden evening
Light filters through trees, so intriguing

Then shone Madonna of the Magnificat
Serenity and grace so wondrously personified
Gentle Lord upon her lap, long before we crucified

In the Cestello Annunciation
Angel spreads her glorious wings
Triumphantly of Heaven, she so softly sings

The beauty of the Madonna of the Pomegranate
Surrounded by six angelic smiles of gorgeous gold
What exquisite images, to silently behold

Searching the luminous heavens
Combing the pastel skies
He saw all this beauty, within his laboured eyes

With brush he gently stroked
On faded canvas and blank ceiling
With each stroke, it exhilarated his being

Raising his eyes to heaven
At the visions he had seen
He closed his eyes and thanked the Lord
For the images became Botticelli's Dream
