Today's the day Lucky Luke
trades his hat in for a tuque
not sure his fashion choice and flair
will still be a hit with ladies everywhere

Luke Chapter One Verse 18 And 19

"How can this be?" the old man said,
As shadows fell on the temple’s light,
His voice was low, his heart was lead—
Would faith grow pale in the nearing night?

But Gabriel, bright with timeless grace,
Stood firm beneath the altar’s flame,
"The Lord has heard you, face to face,
His promise lives, though you feel shame."

Oh, doubt not power that moves unseen,
In darkness still, the seed is sown,
For even now, though skies may lean,
Your heart’s small prayer becomes his own.

Luke 4:24

'Verily, I say, ' my words unfold,
'This prophet's heart grows faint and cold—
No honor waits where I was known,
For in my town, I stands alone.'

They see the child I once had been,
Not dreams of what I'd come to win;
My tender voice, yet strong and clear,
Falls dull on hearts that will not hear.

The gifts I bring, they cast aside,
The light I hold, they fail to see;
How strange that near can be so far,
Their blindness hides the brightest star.

For in the soil from which I sprang,
My song goes mute, my harp can't sing.
Yet far beyond these familiar skies,
My vision soars, unbound, and flies.

Luke Tries To Mar a Marriage

The clouds dispersed and brightened
And Luke looked The Frightened
His long bright look had darkened,
A week’s prayer not hearkened:
Not that of fervent farmer
A long parched Earth is Hammer
There’s a union he’d cancelled
And sought it by The Rains sealed;
An arranged Heavy Rainfall
That should drown Reception Hall:
Bride soak down to her undies,
Bride groom asking “What’s just this?”

Twelve thousand to Rain Maker
And before now Not A Shake:
Getting back his money sure,
Yet, in spirit remain poor…

Tried Luke to mar a marriage;
Over it run Hell’s Carriage!

Cowboy Luke and Horse Thief Pete

A shootout took place on a Texas street
Cowboy Luke, the rancher and horse thief, Pete
Sun was high overhead
Noon, a body lay dead
Pete's blood staining the dirt red in the heat

Neena J Luke What Do You Want

Lights Camera Action
Photographers Pictures
It's doable
But I had enough
Of everyone forcing their idea
Of a beautiful woman on me
Do anybody care what I want
I would rather go outside
In a big white baggy sweatsuit
After I purposely drop food all over the front
I want to go outside sock less
Walking on the back of my new retro sneaks
Screaming you can't beat me
Then jump over my husband's head
Before I slam dunk
I want to sit on the steps and skip the chair
Like I did back in the day
I can't even front
And most of the time
I like drinking out of the bottle
Instead of with a straw
Sipping watered down
Strong brown liquid out of a cup

Premium Member Our Greatest Need - 2

She sits and listens
Intent on every word
Not once does she visit the kitchen
Where I need her help, her assistance
There is so much to do, so many tasks
And she simply won’t help me

She sits at His feet
Listening and heeding
His every word brings a peace
To her expression…
What could He be saying?
She looks so content there at His feet
Smiling her love, so attentive

She should be helping me, shouldn’t she?
I think I’ll go in and tell Him…
Mary isn’t helping me with the meal…
He’ll surely make her come in and help me

When I told Him I needed her help with these things…

Jesus told me…

**“Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things… but one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.”

Yes, she sits at His feet, breathless with pleasure
She sees that this is what she needs…
His light poured out over her soul, shining in hope
Whispering love, coloring her thoughts
In brilliant rays of faith that comes to life with His words.

Just being with the Lord. This is our greatest need!

Luke For Easter

I
LORD, thy word and sword
They comfort and confront me
As with David, once shepherd then king
But he was reNEWed: man after Thy heart
Holy Spirit, drive me, pysh me to thy Word
For when I read more than daily devotions
As with Luke chapter 9, today
You grant me boons: bounty in Thy Way
Comfort, sword of The Word

II
Jesus trains and teaches across ten days
Knowing, foretelling, what waits in Jerusalem
The bitter cup of crucifixion in humiliation
But he dared NOT turn; set His face toward Zion
My savior! In the flesh He didn't know of Rising
That the holy spirit would resurrect & help defy death
The teaching, the miracles, the TEACHINGS
IN TEN DAYS Before his sacrifice of himself
In Jerusalem where bulls, sheep, pigeons died
As atonement. The most merciful teachings given:
Those not against us, are friends. The low is but High
Unless ye be as this child, you won't enter My Kingdom

Premium Member Naomi Made a Loud Standing Noise Causing Luke Stop Playing So-

Luke couldn't stop thinking about the boy
It was just so illuminating and cold
But he could never forget the tomboy

That morning, Luke was shocked by the decor
He had to calm himself with a key to uphold
Locked inside of himself stop thinking about the boy

Later, he realized that the boy was coy
He tried to focus on the joy
Beautiful so the wall, the rooms decor

Naomi tried to distract him with an noise
Said it was time to start thinking about a hold
Luke couldn't stop thinking about the boy

Luke took action like an ploy
The boy was like a toxic mold
But he could never forget he’s tomboy

Luke nosedived like a blind troll
His demise was tragically bout to unfold
Luke couldn't stop thinking about the girl
But he could never forget the tomboy Naomi

The girl whom made the loud sounding noise A Villanelle

Rip Luke

Luke was one of the good ones,
he wore his heart upon his sleeve,

he was kind, selfless and giving,
all behaviours he rarely received.

time passing changed his vision,
and flipside his personality,

let down and with misgivings,
anger fuelled hostility.

all his decency went missing,
all his grief was setting free.

those liking forced to hate him,
offers to help all ceased to be.

He was selfless, kind and giving,
suicide his destiny.

For the ending, I forgive him,
the old days stay in my memory.

RIP Luke,
God saw your pain and said "Come to me",
you're finally now free.

Premium Member God's Sufficient Provision For All Sinners - Luke 5: 32

Ever since Adam sinned at the fall
sin has entered every human alive
bringing spiritual death upon us all
lost forever no matter how we strive

God has worked out a perfect plan
sending His own dear son to rescue man
this would take Him to Calvary's cross
shedding His blood for His own clan

But man hates to accept God's truth
for the gospel declares God's great love
showing how great He loves sinners
will man believe God is enough?

God's call to sinners to repent
sounds forth to every listening ear
that Jesus is the only sure way
to receive forgiveness that's so dear

God's sufficient provision for all sinners
His call is still open to the day
salvation is found only in Jesus Christ
eternal life is the prize for all who obey

("I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.”)
Luke 5: 32 (esv)

Chasing, Undone

SCARED AND CRYING
RUNNING PROUDER
BLUBBER LOUDER
WHEN YOU THINK DYING
  YOUR KEEPERS ARE GONE
NOW YOUR LEFT ON YOUR OWN
PERHAPS YOUR MISHAPS
ARE CAUSED BY THE CRAP
THATS reviewed WHEN ALONE
When your safely far from home
  YOUR KEEPERS ARE GONE
NOW YOUR LEFT ON YOUR OWN
WHEN ITS THE VOICES YOU HEAR
AND THE EXPLANATIONS UNCLEAR
Contemplate a case
Review it, then put your self in their place
   Your keepers are gone
Now your left on your own
Is it the laws side
Or is it society’ s pride
Or is it really full of cash
Remember the flashbacks from your stash

Premium Member The God of the Impossible - Luke 18: 27

We live in a world of possibilities
that for so many years could not be
so many changes in the last 100 years
our great grand parents would never see

But then there is God who's eternal
impossible doesn't enter His mind
He is capable of anything at all
when Jesus was on earth He healed the blind

For Jesus is God in human flesh
displaying the works of God to all around
the Lord encourages us all to pray
for He's able to answer His certain sound

In all our struggles of life abound
we know God knows our every thought
His promises are sure and certain
for in His word we are duly taught

Always remember what's impossible to man
is possible to God for He knows
all things are in His holy hands
forever he'll defeat all our foes

("What is impossible with man is possible with God" Luke 18:27) (NIV)

When much is given,
Of him much will be required,
Then ask of him, more.

*For unto whomsoever much is given,
Of him shall much be required.
And unto whom God has committed much,
Of him they will ask the more.

I've your tub of salt
Stood in my kitchen
I hope you haven't
Gone out with a hot water bottle strapped to your chest
Cuz I love you, you're simply the best

Shall we open the curtains?
Let him in
Triplicate, sin, bin
Eternal life, choose Him, please so that he may see
What we see. Truth, love, free set me
