A Winter Stroll Beckoning Wordsworth

A walk through the fields, the marshes nigh
Water risen steep along the banks
Swinging low a grey tailed hawk flies
To the girl's shrouded figure, stooping, it aims
She feels the swoosh of its wings, her ash curls caught
Entangled in a hundred claws

Oh Oh she cries with a fearful yell
The wind races the clouds' billowy bursts
As she struggles to try and free herself
She bends to the ground, though only for the worse
Blood splatters the grass and soaks the soil
Life gushes out, like lava at its boil

Winter buries deep, the snowfalls and the setting suns
Virgin white covers the silent and the frozen
And in the Spring, when new life has begun
Within the hug of her bones, a wing is broken

Committed to stay triumphant all day
Warrior am I in the fight for what’s right
Steadfast as champion along winning way
Marching toward victory with God’s might.

Amidst struggles to protect freedom’s best
Against dominion of invading fear
Girded am I with peace-armor’s finest
Geared to vanquish terror of hate-filled tear.

With faith in the Almighty Who grants grace
My soul rejoices to raise my flag high
I face my foes, enabled by Christ’s brace
Conquering well till final battle draws nigh.

Now to the war zone I fully embark
Soldier* am I bringing hope’s fiery spark.

*2 Timothy 2:3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Christ.

Life's Complexity

Look deep within the light my love
My gentle caring sleep
the song of nature drifts along
at times the wind is steep and strong

The heart a hollow empty song
the drain on life complete
but then from out of emptyness
the song of love grows strong

The energy returning
you dance upon your feet
the cuddles that you're yearning
returned you are complete

my mind delves into darkness
it fights with dreams and scheemes
it struggles with the truth of life
I need to know whats real

I need to know the truth of life
to know whats really real
we study then the body
the life of man complete

look to see the beauty
complexity so sweet
interwoven nature
our thoughts of glowing flame

We study terminology
we study anthropology
we study then biology
with thoughts that do compete

In truth this sweet compexity
holds answers over time
who did design the human brain
who did design the mind

The arguments from science
I then do not believe
It simply was by accident
we came to be conceived

the body's so complex my friend
I think they self deceive
I do believe in science
the study of our life

I do believe the bible
that god created life
I do not see your problem
I do not see your strife

It say's that god created man
it does not tell you how
Could evolution be my friend
the tool that god made to make man

Bipolar and you

I see you not the title
Not what you need when life is survival
You are you and that is that
A separate entity that you combat

This shadow follows you everywhere
Something that is not nice or fair
Your daily battle is to keep them a shadow
And not let the play your brains piano

I have to accept this is for life
In good times and in strife
There is always a third wheel
That will be conceal

This figure keeps you up at night
When you feel most vulnerable despite
The drugs you take to keep him away
And not portray you another way

He is always at arms length
Whispering in your ear with each breath
Your body and soul fights him
To keep your lights from going dim

He dictates how your day goes
But never appears to impose
His mood affects your own
He is unwelcome company so your not alone

When he wins a daily joust
You don’t scream or shout
As tomorrow is a new day
Where he won’t put you on display

I understand you and your unfriend
I am here to attend and defend
Against the shadow that follows you
I’m not one to join a queue

I see your emotional struggles
This life is not full of fairies and bubbles
Day to day life is a grind
This bipolar needs to be co-signed

If I could take the pressure off
Not just as a one off
But forever to make your life better
I would take away that pressure

It's percolating from below.
If lava ain't allowed to flow,
you'll see something more abrupt.
One day, it must erupt.

A pompous, boring oration
continuing without cessation -
trying to listen to what he said,
a fly has landed on his bald head.
Trying to suppress thereafter,
impossible, you burst into laughter.

An injustice, and you start to boil.
It seems like such a heavy toll.
As you try hard to keep your peace,
it struggles for release.
Like a kettle filled with steam,
you can't stop it, and you scream.

Maybe, it's not entirely proper,
a genteel lady and a sharecropper,
but, with this impassioned lust,
if it must be, then, well, it must.
Spurred on by a little brandy,
a closet comes in handy.

It could be a poem or piece of art
locked up tightly inside your heart,
a message, you feel you must impart -
is it dead before it can start?
No, my dear, it continues to live,
until, your gift, to the world you give.

Authorities can suppress the truth -
rulers, teachers, influencing youth,
who slowly grow up and bide their time,
appearing to all to toe the line.
It may take a while, but without fail,
the truth will, one day, prevail.

It's percolating from below.
If lava ain't allowed to flow,
you'll see something more abrupt.
One day, it must erupt.

The Last Romance

I waited for a moment of silence.
For my heart to find the right beat
And immerse my soul into romance.
For the thrill it possessed was sweet.

All the desires were immense struggles.
That is worth far more than any pain.
Fleeting embers embrace fiery cradles.
in the quintessence of a new beginning

For in the romance, I find no rejection.
And in those moments, there was no end.
We share the sun and the crescent moon.
See the beautiful stars and felt the wind.

Worlds falling apart, rules with emotions.
By silent dreams, I celebrated in private.
When dark shadows changed the seasons.
I was left with the cold feelings of regret.

Though our worlds became rapidly waning
Into history, the deeds veil was drawn over.
From the shadows, a new era approaching.
A better romance others may discover

Premium Member Those We Love

Those we love don't go away
They walk beside us every day.

They walk with us, in happiness and sorrow,
As our guardian angels in the darkness of night,
Inspired us yesterday, will motivate tomorrow.
So we are fearless when struggles are in sight.

My angels tiptoe gently in dreams when I close my tired eyes,
The mysterious glint in their smiles fills me with sweet surprise!

"How can they be gone" I tell myself, when appears the image of
My wise grandpa scanning newspapers with glasses on his nose,
Watch my grandma quilting a blanket with meticulous details,
Passion for art transforms in compassion for needy, I suppose.

My visionary father with his garden tools, my knight in armour,
Mother, icon of grace, intent on playing music on a sitar!
Siblings and cousins, friends and neighbours, no longer with us,
Their cheerful faces, magical company, beckon from near and far.

Those we love are bound to us
A bond that is never lost,
An invisible connection,
Deep in our soul that's embossed.

A million nights in the darkness
Just my thoughts to keep me company
Poems and songs that will never be written
Memories of loves lost decades
Apologizes that I should have made
Changes in my life that never should have happened
Rarely a dream struggles to get through
Dreams that quickly turn into vicious nightmares
Demons ripping into my soul
Despite a billion other souls struggling to survive
No one to hear my screams through the darkness
My past haunts my every moment
Although I am not ashamed of what I have done
I am afraid of what the past holds for me
What the future has to offer
Death and suffering
Pain beyond a mortal's endurance
Loneliness and grief
And maybe a fleeting, rare moment of happiness
Just enough for a second of hope
Then it will be gone

Ur car should be burning it
It's Top of the line when referring to my whisk(e)y
Regular, average, standard means the opposite
It's like a hundred dollar bill not a fifty
An A+ on the Final Test
Writing for the few
Show them who is the best
Anything less than Premium will not do

My internal engine burns E85
Cheap and isn't made for certain cars
I don't need Premium gas to drive
I can go just as far
Struggles and challenges give my wordz drive
Money hasn't brought me this far
I write these wordz & those wordz to feel alive
Not having natural ability so u pay to be a superstar
I won't be great until after I die

Sometimes they r outta Premium & u gotta get mid-grade
20 cents less but I'm not good with numbers & percentages
Paying more for Premium gas doesn't make u great
Membership has it priveleges
It's ok cuz my diamond shines even in the dark
Don't need the Big City cuz I'm fine in the Villages
Set fire to their city and my next line is the spark
Without money, I guess my poems are only Mid-Grade

Premium Member Beyond Romance Ecstasy

Beyond romance
of one-flesh* ecstasy…
above sweet expectations
during marriage-vow recital…
may God’s love lift you up together
bound by His passionate affection, divine
toward blessed, blissful, beautified union… verily triumphant!

When facing turmoil
after grand wedding date…
from struggles and adjustments
despite sweet honeymoon’s delight…
may the Lord’s care keep you all the more
cleaving well to one another much intimately
thanking God for blessing you as husband and wife!

Constantly in love
within faith-commitment’s cord
enclosed by the great Lover’s warmth
fiery, to quench coldness of decadence…
may Christ’s grace ceaselessly wrap your hearts
sealing your devotion, to weather marital challenges
as you stay joyous in your partnership that exalts the Saviour!

Dedicated to Agape and Joey on their wedding day, January 7, 2020.
