when you dare open up and bare your heart
in all honesty and without guile
to reach out and make a true connection
that’s when I know soulmates can exist
when you trust in me implicitly
your past reveal its open book
walk me through its pages one by one
that’s when I know soulmates might exist
when you invite me to sail
the turbulence of your seven seas
and guide me to serenely roam your heart
that’s when I know soulmates possibly exist
when gently you take my hand
to meander through rose gardens
in the light of a gilded magic moon
that’s when I know soulmates probably exist
when silences are as comfortable
as summer picnics in a meadow
and whispers say more than books could ever
that’s when I know soulmates really do exist

Inspired by our immortality

Let no labels define us
Let no names force our hand
Our energy and souls
Are powerful beyond our galaxy's end
For we are one with the Universe
We are beyond actions and words
We float free in space and time
Inspired by our immortality's poetic verse
Fate and Destiny entwined
Each soul a unique role and blessing
Each loved by our Universe's Creator
For we combine to create a tapestry unending
Ethereal and eternally free
We choose each of the lifetimes we live
The lessons and the soulmates
Who embark with us on our journey
Let us remember our starlight and stardust
Let us embrace our divinity and light
Forever inspiring our immortal souls
To shine as a blessing so pure and bright

There's an emptiness within me,
a loneliness I can't appease,
the days grow longer as I long for you
I know it's out there somewhere,
a love that can't wait to be shared,
another heart that beats in the same tune
and though my voice my be broken,
my heart remains outspoken,
you can't hear me but I'm calling out for you
and when in my mind it may seem hopeless,
my heart remains devoted,
you can't hear me but I'm calling out for you
Confusing is the irony of sorrow,
that a heart so full of love could still feel hollow,
and the echoing is a deafening sound
still I know it's out there somewhere,
a love that can't wait to be shared,
but I know I'll be lost until you're found
and though my voice may be broken,
my heart remains outspoken,
you can't hear me but I'm calling out for you
and when in my mind it may seem hopeless,
my heart remains devoted,
you can't hear me but I'm calling out for you
Last winter, I refilled my blackened quill with
a dose of your sensual sonnets,
allowing your soothing voice to be the maestro
of moaning moonlight,
reawakening a cathartic infatuation.
Drunk on symphonies that you’ve orchestrated,
a throbbing thirst instills
tantalizing tercets into my trembling veins.
I submissively let every ounce of my skin
be stroked by your titillating tongue,
tracing the milky quartz trails of
goosebumps you’ve ignited,
leaving me intoxicated in your
mellifluous world of poetic pulses,
where your honey-dipped fingers strum
the script of my love-struck soul.
Awakening fervent fireflies to flutter,
flickering luscious sparks,
while cocooned in electric feathers,
caressing the internal warmth
of wildfire whispers.
Yet, there is something about
the way the skies burst euphoric writings
on your untold rivers~
never revealed, forever lost
in the silence of sultry suppression~
luring me to follow the magnetic rhythm
of your restless roseate runes.
I will someday kiss you into written poetry,
when I take a breath
to climax as couplets intertwined,
screaming caffeinated stars in hypnotic cadence.
The seeds of your love
will illuminate pining petals,
pressed between velvety sheets
of lunar-glazed pillows,
and the cinnamon sun of a sage dawn,
awaiting drizzling diamonds
with sinful secrets etched from sweat and tears,
teasing the melted twilight
that flows behind periwinkle prose.
So place me on your empty canvas
of nocturnal stanzas.
Paint me with tender rhymes,
flowing like fluorescent ink,
bleeding from your aesthetic baton,
so effortlessly,
forever aligned as soulmates,
tied to the gossamer tunes of timeless harmony.
In the mind of a poet on days when his muse is uninspiring
In the smile of great-grandma as her wrinkled hands hold her great-grandbaby
In the thoughts of a philosopher when he ponders on the intricacies of life
In the eyes of a farmer when his soil yields good crops after days of toil
In the silent prayer of a devotee as he stands before his Lord with eyes closed
In the sweet cuddle of a pet when he sees his master after a long time
In the tears of a mom when she meets her son after several years
In the void, hitherto unfilled, in the hearts of distant soulmates
In every single bud of thought that blooms in a mute’s mind in his lifetime
For Timothy Lee
We skip and dance our love thru every chance.
My true love freed you, your true love freed me
and as a true we, we grow bright our free.
The greatest gift of our soulmate romance
is living sincere through time’s circumstance.
Immortal love does life authentic be
for sincere joins force with eternity
when love is glance-gold woven in advance.
Perhaps, no surely, we have loved before;
felt our souls merge deep within seeds of time.
Perhaps, no surely, reaped in each one’s core,
immortal love supports twin soulmates’ shine.
Every again, and new, thru my eye’s door,
I recognize that I have always been thine.
Silently weighing smiles and frowns,
Fate ensures that balance is kept.
But the scale tips ominously,
with the added weight of tears wept.
The pursuit of happiness has
unavoidable side effects.
For fueled by Hope, passion's flame
flares, in places the heart protects.
Yet trust realigns confused thoughts,
keeping the dream of love alive.
And souls find soulmates like magic,
allowing fantasies to thrive.
Soulmates form a duality,
sharing their feelings every night.
And fear retreats to the shadows,
cast by the aura of love's light.
Purging anguish from memories,
time erases tears of regret.
And resuscitates dying dreams;
that hearts choose never to forget.
"As if you were on fire from within.
The moon lives in the lining of your skin." ~ Pablo Neruda
When the sky unfurls your silhouette,
like moonlight glazed in sequined haze,
I breathe the ache, cradle the air~
on tiptoes beneath quivering stars,
to taste poetry within your warmth,
free-flowing on the sighs of silence,
where silken veins mirror tender dreams
of soulmates engrossed in rainbow mists.
But am I to remain a veiled verse,
an irrelevant flame ~ a blemished rhyme,
as songs within your heart fall out of sync,
amidst paper promises, still forged in love,
beneath the wings of gossamer sparks,
raining tears of memories...

You discovered the ever-seeking soul in me!
Looking for truth, for all of mankind to see!
Unaccepting of all common, unquestioned beliefs.
Ignorant, educated dullards brought to me,absolutely no relief.
Late, late into the foggy evening’s very last twinkling, summer star,
Plato and Aristotle, greedily we devoured, while riding on a cable car,
And, although you now are insensate and in an impenetrable grave,
See my soul, my sweet, for truth, it rants and in my poetry, madly raves.
