That's When I Know
when you dare open up and bare your heart
in all honesty and without guile
to reach out and make a true connection
that’s when I know soulmates can exist
when you trust in me implicitly
your past reveal its open book
walk me through its pages one by one
that’s when I know soulmates might exist
when you invite me to sail
the turbulence of your seven seas
and guide me to serenely roam your heart
that’s when I know soulmates possibly exist
when gently you take my hand
to meander through rose gardens
in the light of a gilded magic moon
that’s when I know soulmates probably exist
when silences are as comfortable
as summer picnics in a meadow
and whispers say more than books could ever
that’s when I know soulmates really do exist
