When weighing smiles and frowns in life, Hope ensures that balance is kept. But the scale tips ominously under the sheer weight of tears wept. Lovers form a duality, sharing their feelings every night. And fear cringes in the shadows, which quickly disperse under light. The pursuit of a soulmate has unavoidable side effects. For the passion behind love, takes Trust places that the heart protects. Time heals broken hearts like magic, ensuring that dreams will survive. And Hope realigns confused thoughts, helping fantasies stay alive. Purging anguish from memories, time erases tears of regret. And resuscitates dying dreams; all but the ones you should forget.
