Cave

There is no cave
Can hide your light
No hidden place
For Joy so bright

There's nothing
You should shut away
Your beauty needs
The light of day

As friends we'd scale
The highest heights
Clear all the wrongs
Replace with rights

To let you know
The path is down..
To meadows, rivers
In hopeful town

Where dancing, music,
Food and song
Replaces all your sense
Of wrong

Your presence welcomed
To be yourself
Not hermit hidden
Or dusty shelf

For this is where
The love is found..
Where grass is green
Where truths abound

Your heart is free.
Not judged or measured
Just you. Adored.
Accepted. Treasured.

GRACE EMBRACE TRACE

I don’t have time for fun and games, but they do apparently
I don’t have time to commit a jolly crime and shut away society
Please don’t leave me in this wretched mess called confusion
Ease my mind with a grace embrace trace, undoing the lying, dying with godly solution

Embrace the silent truth of my heart
Grace will never forget you…disgrace doesn’t forgive you
Trace it on the bottom of my heart and you’ll find out that it lasts forevermore
Embrace the violent peace of my mind
Disgrace doesn’t live for us, so die for grace
Trace it on the top of my head and you’ll be unforgotten in my memory forevermore

I do have time for no more shames and I choose to love you unconditionally
I do have time to sing you a lullaby and scream out joys tonight
Leave me in the dust of happiness and hopes and leave it to love preciously and beautifully
Ease my mind with a grace embrace trace, undoing the lying, dying with godly might

Heart is broken in two
You have a way with words
Heart is spoken in rue
We will separate like birds

Mind is mended by grace
Mind is blended by embrace
Mind is deserted and will be without a trace
Heart is offended by disgrace
Heart is a lovely hatred with a trace
Heart is unbroken like a vase
Love has a way with words as always
Hate has a way to hurt us these days
Grace embraces us with or without a trace come what may…maybe, someday, it stays…

She saw through tear filled eyes
The kindness in his own
She heard the witness of
The miracles he'd shown
But her past was full of sin
Of brokenness and shame
That made her so afraid
To call out Jesus name
So instead, to show her love
She knew she'd have to start
By letting go of sin and self
By giving him her heart.

What is in your alabaster box?
What came to you at such a great cost?
You've held onto it so long
And coveted the pain
But Jesus wants to free you
From fear from guilt from shame
Pour it all out now
At his beautiful feet,now bare
Wash them with your tears
And dry them with your hair.

 Maybe it's not past sins
 you've shut away and bare
 maybe it's some hurt
that you've refused to share
 now is the right time
 while Jesus is so near
to finally let it go
to finally shed your tears
 and if you continue to
hold on so tight to your pain
 you'll never know the freedom
of how your heart will change

What is in your alabaster box?
What came to you at such a great cost?
You've held onto it so long
And coveted the pain
But Jesus wants to free you
From fear from guilt from shame
Pour it all out now
At his beautiful feet,now bare
Wash them with your tears
And dry them with your hair.

You will always stumble
When you bare a heavy load
All by yourself, all alone
We can depend
on His strength and might
For He said," my yoke is easy
And my burden light"

What is in your alabaster box?
What came to you at such a great cost?
You've held onto it so long
And coveted the pain
But Jesus wants to free you
From fear from guilt from shame
Pour it all out now
At his beautiful feet,now bare
Wash them with your tears
And dry them with your hair.

on a blank canvas
i begin painting
as one builts
a great big wall
So high,
trapped in myself
Shut away from life's hurt

Dreaming of greener pastures
One with happiness
Safe in my Dreams,
An apparition
of what life
could offer
Feeling unworthy
of a place
Left with cruel words

Making one feel
bad about myself,
in the reflection
upon the ripples
a shattered illusion
on the surface breaks

Touched by
my inner most desire,
Like a child's
 first steps
Happy when finding
one's feet,
Slowly learning
to trust your feelings
Smiling when they come
back again

climbing this wall nervously
Walking to the summit,
Dreaming of love
A vision
of happiness,
Escaping my prison

Staring off
into the stars
At ease
with the distance,
So close,
yet so far

The Askance Chapter 3 Part 3a

An Aria Beyond A Silent Dream

Just yesterday, I was dreaming some love I’ll never have
And now I’m sitting all alone, smoking… this night
Some soul within that never was mine, seems to have left
Like falling stars crying so, fading upon its dying light

It was just like a dream, a dream which began it all
A fantasy I so thought, a reality now fought
The enigmatic world of The Ancients is the world I saw
Some place where life is only to belong to the rot

I was petrified from the sights of the ungodly world
And I fear even more shall come eventually my sleep
Betrayal portrays the poison mind from the green of an emerald
And I wonder if strength can still be drawn from hearts of the weak

Its been a while since, had the befallen and the defier appear
I’m lost and very much alone atween a portal through stolen time
Though the bond of a steel may assure the undead minions to fear
Yet dependency is a weakness without the drop of faith close behind

Be it so if I should sleep in reality, I’m awaken otherwise within
And upon awakening elsewhere, it isn’t simply a hallucinatory fantasy
And as once more, I walk the path beyond ancient’s dream
I saw a world lost upon where I stand alone, in complete solitary

{With the reality world shut away, despairing never fails to end
The darken haze aloof the skies were evidence of time bearing no when
Bodies in impossible millions lay lifeless as far as the eye can see
With the essence of blood weighing upon the breath of air so free
From where I stood, the battle before seems wearily over and forgotten
With my sword at hand, I was left mortified with delusions of the tragic moment
How is it, a glitter of hope can present itself from this nightmarish hell?
Yet I knew, extraordinary from ordinary isn’t just some words to praytell
I scan the bloodshed more intensely, knowing not what I may assume to find?
And I’m not alone… as something else was heard from behind
There was a voice, voicing sadness and sorrow in solemn aria
Singing perhaps to the heavens, yearning so to be heard from afar
I trail towards the tune and saw a figure standing atop a shadowy stone
Cloaked in an armour that at once suggested swiftness, as well a necklace of bones
And seen in her hand… she held a crypted bow
Where strap over her shoulder, was as well a quiver of arrows

The Dark Poet

The poet losing touch with life
Faces fear untold
Reality just slips away
Powerless to make it stay
When his demons seize a hold

Deep dark thoughts pervade his mind,
Worms infect his brain.
Empty void of utter darkness
Shut away from light.
No one understands his pain.

Feelings twist, turn, and tangle,
Things he can’t explain,
Oozing mud and pull of death
Beckon to a place beyond.
Is he going quite insane?

Digging, delving, dread... then hope
In his troubled crown.
Memories of long ago
Things he thought he didn’t know
Walls come crashing down.

Time will tell if he will heal,
Escape this dark perdition.
Strength and courage he must have
Going down this lonely path
In search of his redemption.

Harry Potter a boy with no real family
Living under his cousin’s stairs, in a closet’s gizzard.
Shunned and shut away as a nambly-pambly
In another world, a known, famous wizard.

Hagrid helps him get to Hogwarts where he meets lifelong friends
Ron Weasley and Hermoine Granger, a muggle-born witch.
Daring escapades and escapes are Rowling's books’ brightest bends.
Harry’s phoenix tail wand is magic with a flick and a switch.

Harry took off on a broom when he was not supposed to yet ride.
Swiftly marched in in by McGonagall, head of the Gyffindor House
Dumbledore names Harry as seeker of the Quidditch Team’s G-side.
I am not going to ruin the rest of the story; I am not a louse.

To love and to be loved

Maybe in another life I would be the perfect fit
The one you can't let go
The one you will fight for till the end
The one you wouldn't have doubts about.

Maybe in another life we will have out fairytale ending
We will let ourselves enjoy the freedom of being ourselves
We won't care about who sees or hears
We will be truly honest about ourselves

Maybe in another life we will let go of our worries
Live like there is no tomorrow
Laugh like the world will never end
Do all the crazy things we used to do

Maybe just maybe we would have joy in the sorrows
Wipe away the tears that linger in our eyes
Seat by the moonlight and dream about another world
Full of only us and shut away our problems

It's no longer a maybe its a see you later
In another life though
We are soulmates who weren't ment to be
But the love will never fade away

I will love you until my heart can't anymore
Until I give up and I'm weary
Until I can't see you in the distance anymore
Or even imagine you infront of me
Oh how I loved and was loved,
My heart still beats for you my love.

Modern Delirium

Perilous addiction hell bent completion deluded cohesion.
Negative infusion feathered motion, spiraling down like a crispy weathered October leaf.
Faded grasp like the winter sun in vision the same but a difference so vast
The echo of mankind never seldom to my ear, peace of mind never at cheer
Bellows and bellows of screaming lucid thought crippled by the same resort.
Wonky leg like a wonky chair bruised battered weakened and loose escaping like vaporing air.
The ripple of contained liquid just slight but a mystery to the mass I am inclined
Coned, padded, shut away, forgotten, a pressed particle of cigarette ash in a dormant
Hallway corner,
Noticed by a moment of dust filled beams of light, exhilarating in such short time
Gone again like black from night the acute jest of life, smashed glass left and unoccupied
The heart so cold like bitter urine in survival mode soggy chip squashed under foot nobody cares
Nobody’s good. Lost in a cold shockwave of pain thrown to shore different than any other
Too alien to mention too slain to fear a wondrous maze of capital esteem stagnant in movement
Pointless art all curved and pointless oh where I am and oh where do I start.
Can I awake can I resound is this reality or is it just another calamity. Insanity gone beyond
No track to unravel stability of the foundational start, just a implosion of art.

Water

The waves are coming in
The sound of the water is all but familiar
I would let it touch my skin
I would let it wash me away from the world forever

As I held my breath and sunk into
I was swallowed with the world shut away
Given a chance to imagine anew
I was given an exacted moment to know I’m okay

And I never felt more alive being so enclose
Feeling so weightless with waters so heavy upon
Just a while more yet no longer... I rose
Revealing once again to the world I don’t belong

How long can I hold my breath under water?
How long more can I survive the world we build?
There is no need to really be better...
Simply a need to feel... and be real

The waves are washing out
I will hold my breath one more time
Will the waters wash away my doubt
To once more emerge... what will I find?
