The Holy One Whom those reborn turn toward
gives joy, hope, life eternal, and His grace
when with hearts contrite they kneel before the Lord.
All souls with faith will feel the Lord’s embrace
because His power and His boundless love
will save the ones who’ll one day see His face.
Our suffering and grief are a few of
the things which can be healed by God’s pure lamb
upon Whom fell the Spirit like a dove.
Believe in Jesus, for His truth’s no sham.
He's the Word who said, “I AM WHO I AM.”

It seems that saucy little girls are rather smitten,
By the playful antics of a cuddly, furry kitten!
Whether she teases it with a tantalizing feather,
Or when they take their afternoon tea together!
The long-suffering kitty must find it hard to understand,
Why it must submit to her every mortifying demand,
'Specially when she places a silly bonnet upon its head!
(It would much prefer that she'd scratch its ears instead!)
She dresses it in a frilly frock and parades it in her pram,
Swaddled in fancy blankets. Oh, what a ridiculous sham!
Most humiliating of all is seeing the inscrutable smirks,
And hearing the catty jibes of alley cats - those ordinary jerks!
She insists that it take tea with a bib tucked 'neath its chin.
For table-mates a chatty doll and scowling bear to its chagrin!
It patiently waits for its bowl of milk to be properly served.
It abhors the many social graces that must be observed!
Though it suffers through the little girl's many dreadful schemes,
It loves to snuggle among her golden curls as she dreams.
It softly purrs in her ear as its little friend goes to sleep,
Making sure that she is safe - only then does it fall asleep!

Tonight I reappear in my gleaming silver gown,
my neutrons fusing to glitter your little town,
a family reunion of stars dancing in Milky Way,
you'll see the Helix Nebula of Aquarius in silver array.
Celestial ballroom to brighten the dwarf planet you call,
poor Pluto in desolate black hole of sudden downfall.
The tiny planet no longer charms earthly creatures,
transient in eternal universe-- oblivious preachers.
The comet they've named Halley had told me long back,
exploding stars in supernova fulfill wishes--their knack.
Alas! We laugh but burn to make your planet glow,
until this loop circles to your Sun in Big Bang blow,
aloof from this sham I'll pour love as a sprinkling spinner;
Oh! Just so you know in Kuiper Belt, Pluto is a winner.

“Even after our corporeal form leaves, a letter speaks to us in a language so intimate, conveying pent up emotions so personalized that one cannot express through spoken words without causing embarrassment to the one thus divulging” ~ By Poet
It was like a cunning marauder,
That cancer sneaked into his healthy body.
After the initial shock, John got over it.
Then ensued a brave fight to restrict its advance.
But it ravaged his body inch by inch.
Stage four cancer took residency in his bones.
After thirteen months of incessant struggle
His invincible life came to a peaceful halt!
At the end of his funeral rites, his best friend
Showed himself up before the congregation.
In halting voice, he said he was on a task,
To read out a letter John had prepared.
Long before his death but had kept sealed until then.
Opening an envelope, with wavering hands
Like an envoy divinely ordained on a sacred mission
He took out the carefully folded sheets of paper.
The subdued murmur inside the spacious hall
Gave way to silent breathless anticipation.
'My dearest family and friends' the words ran,
'Long at last, I am at peace, absolutely at peace,
With no emails to check, no bills to pay,
No more deadlines to be worried over!
But unfortunately, no charming females in sight''
The words breathed his flamboyant humour,
With his trademark grace and copious dignity.
He led the audience through his life under death sentence.
He was thankful for the love and concern,
His friends and family had so profusely lavished on,
In his ailing days of agony and dejection.
That exceeded far more than what an ordinary man,
In the whole of his lifetime could accumulate!
The last part was a pronouncement of love,
On his beloved wife and his wonderful child,
Who stood by him in silent suffering by proxy,
With a plea to all to keep peace with one's soul.
Despite life's sham, drudgery, and shattered dreams!
The congregation silently dispersed, walking away,
Into a day of sunshine, greatly consoled and inspired!
Darkness descends,
And the destination lies far behind
God! Let the fire that burns in you eternal ,
Which is the only true fire,
Light up my eyes to perceive the right from the wrong,
The genuine from the sham.
I ask Thee, blaze my spirit with your fire
So that I get the prudence to escape the snares
Laid by wolves in lambs' clothing.
I ask Thee, the courage to dissent,
When forced to act out against my will.
The glitter of gold or the sceptre of power
Let them not dissuade me from my resolve.
I ask Thee, to grant me the fire,
So that I get the power to resist,
Justice denied, rights violated,
The weak exploited, the poor smothered,
The innocent accused and the guilty acquitted.
I await the true fire to ignite my whole being,
As the darkness of gloom envelops my spirit
Where fear like worms eat into my core.
I await the eternal fire to break into me,
To see myself bare and naked!
My cavernous interiors hide designs - malign.
How I put on appearances to suit my designs!
As I burn in the fires of worldly passions
Oh Lord, send the flames of your fire,
And with their tongues, swallow the darkness within.

All I can be if it’s left up to me
Is a brain in a tank full of bubbles
Can’t hear it, can’t see it, I only can be it,
And that’s just the start of my troubles
It was no disease that killed most of me
But a brain catcher down at the docks
Now, my one sensation, a dull static hum
And occasional electric shocks
I think I recall being near six feet tall
A man who could see, smell and hear
I could feel hot and cold and I thought I’d grow old
With only arthritis to fear
As a brain, I’m estranged from my mortal remains
I know that this dark is a sham
I cannot see light in the day or the night
But I think… and that means that I am
With stimuli lacking, my sanity cracking
When will my mad captor devise
A restructured me, so that I can see
Through some poor soul’s extracted eyes
***
At last, there is light, goodbye to my night
Will I frighten or will I delight
I know how this goes for history shows
Should you see me then you shall take flight
Through this hocus pocus, I cannot yet focus
Is that the doc’s form lurking there?
I once read the book and however I look
I’m gonna give people a scare
My vision is clearing and so is my hearing
I see I have rather nice hands
And I have a soft voice… did the doc make a choice
For my voice doesn’t sound like a man’s
“It lives,” the doc cries with his beast by his side
Did the monster manoeuvre the knife
It stomps to my side with its arms open wide
I think I’m the bloody thing’s ‘wife’
But his nightmarish fun has barely begun
As I had it away on my toes
But he’ll have his fun because I cannot run…
In stilettos and pantyhose
The Gentle Ride
A light breeze brushed and passed me by
As I rode along the timeless scene,
I marvelled at the pellucid sky,
A light breeze brushed and passed me by.
And overhead I saw a swallow fly,
Effortless, supreme; so very serene.
A light breeze brushed and passed me by,
As I rode along the timeless scene.
On Your Bike
Shifting the steed, hammering the knee
Rainbow warrior leading the quest,
Passing by Mrs Fay Randonee
Shifting the steed, hammering the knee.
Peloton 'sham-Wahs sitting pretty,
Waiting for the ultimate test.
Shifting the steed, hammering the knee
Rainbow warrior leading the quest.
Two Wheels Gone.
On the velocipede with various speed
Sat a dandy horse astride in tweed.
Mrs Penny Farthing, her derrier aflush
Her bone shaker making her all ablush.
Some say she's as daft as a brush,
Many would say she oft dillydallied
On the velocipede with various speed
Sat a dandy horse astride in tweed.
Have you ever watched a sitting
of an Australian parliament
For thirty years or more my attention has been absent
From what I do recall
the language that they use
is full of vitriolic abuse
They have inflated audacity
in what they do believe
They are empowered to enslave us
it's a model I aggrieve
These parliamentarians, they are described as sitting members
when supposedly "democratically" elected
But are they ever sitting, seems to be they're mostly lying
It's a deceptive model, which for three decades,
I have vehemently rejected
And then to rub our noses in the dirt,
they assume the title, the honourable member. How can this be is this a joke
Dishonourable is more apt, treat the sleeping population with contempt
For so many decades this dis-empowering system
Why have the people never been awoke
Such atrocious decisions that are surely made
Conscript young men to fight another nasty corporation war
No love for humanity or for themselves
do we need them? Such direction I abhor
The irony of it all is that we are forced to vote for a so called democracy
Such corruption such a sham
war propaganda, lose your job if you're not jabbed
all these lies issued, to perpetrate a filthy scam
And there's the pensioners, the disadvantaged
who exist, just above the line of being poor
Whilst these parliamentary parasites
send millions to support a Ukraine/Russian war
I maintain no desire, for another human being
to claim he represents me, in any shape or form
And so I do declare a pledge , to do all within my power
to deviate from all political norm
How to educate the public, where does one begin
Of the treasonous system embedded deep within
My allegiance is to adhere to the principles
of our loving Father, existing hgh above
To include each and every day
a simple message of harmony peace and love
Daydreamer....
Skyscraper....
I wish to be famous
In the same fortune bus
Arrogance and pride
Marrying me like a bride
I'm a bad boyfriend
And I don't mean to offend
Chillin like a villain should
I shouldn't be so lazy
I'm feeling a little hazy
Drunk off of energy
High off of being free
Trying to hold on to positivity
Let me be, negativity...my corrupted baby...
Rebellion shouldn't be my middle name
Shame on me for being so lame
Lost in a multitude
Shy with bad attitude
I drowned in frowns
I had no friends to begin with
Going through my downs
My life...I wish it was all a silly, little myth
I will not be a potty mouth
Liars are like phones that lag
My mind goes from north to south
I'm a thousand dirty little rags...I'm annoying straight individuals again...don't ever say I'm acting like a ***
Because gays, lesbians, and bisexual people are human...
And they should be treated as one
I will be a responsible adult-teen that's good
It's not good in the hood in my ghetto neighborhood
Tho...
No...
I guess I wasn't meant to be a poet
Ideas get thrown down the pit...
Again....
Frustration and vulnerability make me a victim of sham shame
Just graze in your own maze
Leave. Me. Alone.
I'm mellow-yellow anger
Red doesnt describe what I feel
Discreet like two quiet feet
I'm feeling as worthless as a fatigued whale...far away from the sun-shining shore
I want love in my shoes and more
No...I'm a temporary show
The audience doesn't care
I'll go by my own flow like a gray, white and black striped crow
I'm not gay...I'm not pansexual...I'm not bisexual...I'm not transgender...I am straight.
I'm happy with being me
No labels involved hopefully
Feeling so bleak like winter's night
Let's fight the greatest fight during divine flight tonight
I'll fly with my might
With no shame
I'm not playing my mind games
My confusion increases
My heart is shattered in pieces...
Then things get ugly...abuse is seen on TV...a thousand times and more...it's a sad earth without mercy and mirth...
I mend slowly
So lend a hand and help me be free
In sunlit glee...give birth to a heavenly mirth
I'm not in grave danger
Being me isn't stranger
I woke up this morning trying to remember who I am
To the mirror I looked, am I a woman or a man
Maybe I'm somebody else, just another in my head
Or am I who I am, in my mind I sometimes dread
I woke up this morning trying to remember who I am
Asking why my friends have decided to be in my little scam
All my life I've wondered just who the hell I am
Again to the mirror I looked, am I a woman or a man
I woke up this morning trying to remember who I am
My mind has invented another, being deceitful leads my sham
Maybe I'll find the clues for I to realise my tomorrows
And return the names to the graveyard, but I'll doubt I'll sorrow
