SILENCE
prowls on soft paws
with sharp claws
Cutting up the
Middle Road
Dark shadow moves
SILIENCE
In absentia
Empty Absynthe
Puncture wounds
Cold wind blows
Over tracks
Skids softly
like warm
gants de Suède
on
Poets’ Row
Rat goes
Rat goes
Red scream
scarlet ribbons
LIFE
flows
Le Mort
blushes colour
a trite persuade
different streets
different gutters
Torn canvas sheets
contained between
prison bar margins
Drafts on the floor
crumpled
Blue fountain
Heart bursting
Love and Hate
Grows
Save Our Souls
Save Our Souls
Sins
Sisters of Mercy
and
Salvation Army Sargents'
Tambourines
Communion
Nibs lying next to
Garbage Bin
Finally Ash Felt
Rain on her
Bitumen face
Black Minx
Fur Pelt
Unfurls lazy stretch
Glass eyed
Minx
Back Alley Dreaming
Bad Luck
Bad Luck
Rolling loaded dice
blood boiling steaming
Brush strokes
Like glyph a glitch
Like glyph a glitch
Familiar mirror
Walks through Witch
Yesterday
Screams
Like glyph a glitch
Repeat curse
Repeat curse
Black Cat purring
Never lose
Hold tight
Pearls in Purse
7 Devils Dreaming
Sleepwalking
Graffiti Warning
Black Cat
Witch
Glebe
Last Stop Station
Rehearse a
Hearse
LIFE
Glyph a glitch

My Next Life

The master said it well with the statement he proclaimed
For I will be that person who has returned again
“Your iniquities shall be visited to the third and fourth generation”
That makes the time just perfect for my next incarnation

Two Thousand Eighty Six is when my next life will begin
A new and perfect body with my old soul snug within
I will start again with lessons that I am learning now
The lessons learned in this life are the things that I will know

I will take these lessons with me imprinted firmly in my soul
These things will surely take me one step closer to my goal
The world will be much different with new lessons there to learn
But what I have learned in this life will help me at that turn

I have taken many bodies; I will take at least one more
In years the cycle is a journey of one hundred forty four
The soul is on the wheel of life and goes from birth to birth
About half the time regrouping and the balance here on earth

When the time comes for my rebirth back into this place
I will choose the perfect body to rejoin the human race
There are things that I must finish, bits of karma to absolve
Certain traits that I must conquer, certain vices to resolve

I will be a better person for my soul will have evolved
Of the seven deadly sins, I know that some I have resolved
I will try to solve the others as I go through my next life
For my soul is growing weary from this worlds' pain and strife

I’ll try to do it in my next life, I have progressed much in this
But I know I’m still a few steps short of everlasting bliss
I hope to do it next time before they put me in the ground
My goal’s to do it next time, in just one more time around

I thank the god within me for his presence I can feel
And I’ll be ever grateful when I’ve evolved off this wheel
It has been a magical journey but I’m glad it’s near complete
And I will soon be occupying my lofty creators’ seat

Many thousand times I’ve come here, it has brought me here to this
Where I will soon be able to revel in its’ bliss
And be reintegrated with the universal soul
Never to return here for that’s my final goal

I have lived a good life I have learned and I have grown
I’ve accomplished many things and I will reap what I have sown
I hope that you’ll forgive me if my poems fail to rhyme
But they’ll be flowing beautifully, hopefully…… next time

Some Unholy War

Each holy man there is, is convinced he's better than the next,
as his right hand tightly clasps prayer beads, whilst he judges others with his left.
Piety the reason that he wakes up every day,
just to forget that only God can judge, even if someone is gay.

Whether devoted to the gospel or in submission to the Muslim holy book,
many of these zealots cannot be told apart from crooks.
Their lies are so often inspired by an agenda that remains hidden
amongst claims they will be forgiven for each slip, no matter how forbidden.

Living in the future, they are consumed with the afterlife,
but it is so convenient to forget the rules every time they take another wife.
These hypocrites misinterpret ancient words however they see fit,
when the truth holds no advantage from which they could somehow profit.

Wars have been fought over less than a few acres of land,
both sides convinced the blood was spilled as part of their God's plan.
Self-righteousness surrounds us, humanity has ceased to exist,
replaced by laws made by hateful pastors and religious nuts like Kim Davis or ISIS.

Who can say that religion has done less harm than good,
when it can be held responsible for divided neighbourhoods?
When practiced with humility, it can be a beautiful thing;
praised for the prosperity it brings, and turned to for guidance in times of suffering.

But more often than not, Ten Commandments are ignored whenever we commit seven deadly sins,
we are so conscious of all our imperfections but ignorant of our blessings.
False prophets preaching in the streets take advantage of our desperation for something to believe in;
the confidence with which they spread their ignorance is rarely seen as deceiving.

Mankind will only survive this state of emergency if we unlearn all that we know,
once we accept that religion hinders us more than it helps us grow.
There is nothing wrong with having a little faith,
if it inspires love and does not advocate messages filled with hate.

God has no religion. There is no more need for these unholy wars,
let us not be so insecure that any offense is one worth fighting for.
Muslim, Christian, Hindu, or Jew; there will always be power in numbers,
lest we forget that before our dogma divided us, we lived together as sisters and brothers.

Living in the Middle

Rules of life restrict us from infancy.
If instincts are true we thrive, each new lesson,
a cynosural guide to success, an urge to forget
those practices made to thwart happiness.
Spare spending habits, avoiding the seven deadly sins,
passages, and reaching for that metaphoric sky
Until, true love, that mystic carriage to what may be;
the chrysalis that cradles heightened mystery.
The inevitable enduring of drudge before we fly.
We are living in the middle, you and I.

There is much we live, reliant upon chance happenings.
What if we had never met? If our paths had never
intersected or, if they did, we failed to connect.
Missed the perfect moment when the sky was right
to usher in romance, the laws of allurement
that shaped 'Plaisir d'amor' in magical renderings.
The ardent awareness of simpler things;
Brilliant colors, ambrosial kisses and heavenly perfumes.
The harmony of mutual understandings
between butterfly beginnings-ethereal endings.

The eager phase of dreams, of promises made,
getting used to things- some expected, some not.
then the arduous art of forgiving.
Our consent to cherish common objectives.
Was it happenstance our love succeeded - or was it
Because we overlooked each other's flaws-
What we expected in the moment?
Two souls astounded to be of the same accord;
that a chance encounter could be the cause.
Despite Natural Law, I'm persuaded to pause;

Too quickly the paragraphs of time we rèad.
Hand in hand we strolled the pages of our years,
standing fast against misfortunes we emerged,
shaped by caring and forbearing hearts.
Refusing to imagine life devoid of one another,
fighting new adversity with every sinew.
Nothing earthly, or in heaven, can measure
this small eternity we have made ourselves.
No matter how circumstance may try to spin you,
if possible, dear, let chrysalis continue ...

April 7 Why Trump

April 7—Figure something out in a poem

Why Trump?

For the last six years
I have been trying
To figure out

Why 40 percent
Of my fellow Americans
Still support Trump.

Still believe he was
The greatest President ever.

I just don’t understand it
Trump is a racist, misogynist
Sexual predator rapist, narcissistic
Fraudster, con artist, grifter.

Who has lost billions
Of dollars over the years
Never pay his contractors
Or his lawyers.

Has been involved
In over 3,000 lawsuits
And lost most of them.

Who lied over 30,000 times
When he was President
And at least 10,000 times
Since then.

Including the big lie
That he won the last election
Both in the popular vote
And in the Electoral College vote.

Over 90 courts concluded
That there was not there there
And that he lost the election.

There was no widespread fraud
The election was fair and square
And he lost.

Trump is the poster child
For the seven deadly sins
And is not a Christian
Far from it.

Yet to his deluded followers
God anoints him
To destroy the enemies
Of the Christian faith.

Now a court has declared
That he defrauded the State
Of New York
To the tune of 450 million dollars.

He stole top-secret documents
Denied he had them
Refused to give them back
And openly talked about them.

With people not cleared
For secret and top-secret
Documents.

He plotted to overturn
The election
And stay in power.

He openly promises
He will be a dictator
And round up millions
Of illegals, and political dissidents
When he is re-elected,

Why he is polling at 40 percent
And not 4 percent
Is beyond me.

The best I can conclude
Is he appeals to those who believe
The whole system is corrupt.

And is rigged against
Lower-middle-class
Christian white Americans.

They feel that they have been
Royalty screwed over by
The masters of the universe.

Who see workers
As nothing but
Disposable labor units
Of production.

And they are right
And Trump for his faults
Speaks to the forgotten men
And women in fly-over country,

That is why he is still popular
And could be re-elected
And if he is re-elected
Can American Christian fascism
Be coming?

Seven Deadly Sins

DEADLY SIN- LIE

SALIGIA,
Or the seven deadly Sins,
Covers all the probabilities
Of peccadilloes,
That could be committed by the HUMANITY.

Lust
glows up within a man
It is like a sentiment
that can not be brought under control
It can make a rich man a refugee,
Because this sin deprives him of his mores and morals,
And makes him do all the wrongs,
Just to fulfill his desires.

Pride
 We all have two faces,
We cover our real image, cover our wounds
Not admitting the pockmarks in our character,
We always keep our real emotions incarcerated
And show the world a conceited face,
Forgetting our hard days.
We assassinate out fears,
And show as if we are the winners of all the races.

Greed
IT develops like a voracious thirst
It creeps like a climber,
Ingests all our emotions
demolishing us from the inside
The want seems to be endless,
Just like wanting a sunrise during a sunset.

Envy
It is like a bane that shrivels us
IT is like a sweet poison that never makes us start the race,
We keep our focus on some other person,
Diminishing our own soul
When we put every thought under rest,
It is too late,
And we never can achieve the wanted position.

Gluttony
Its intake seems endless,
Makes our mind more materialistic,
When we suffer from it,
Everything seems fantastic,
When we realize that
What it has really done to us,
NO one but we are dejected.

Sloth
The body throws out all the energy,
The anesthetizing decline
Converts into redundancy,
That leads us to reverie,
We never try to uplift our position,
Rather we choose to mix ourselves with the ground,
To become a person never ever to be found.

Anger
It rises slowly in our body,
Bubbling our minds
Most of the time the reason is
Incomprehensible
Emotions gone with the wind,
Control converted into ash and dust,
We lose hope, life has no reason
We are into disloyalty and sheer treason.

But then,
All of this consists of one common
Misdemeanor,
That is – Lie and false hood,
It is more than these 7 sins,
It is above all the wrongdoings,
It leads to one sin, to another,
Leading a man to decay
And sentiments to be smothered.

The Seven Deadly

Why are these referred to as Deadly?
They kill the body, crush the spirit,
Alter one's mind, make over your being,
Deal with others inhumanly, defy the law
And the inspired prophetic Word of God!

As long as the earth remains, there is
Seed time and harvest, so being a Sloth
Will get you nowhere.

Envy is not a virtue, you're not looking
At yourself, but at your fellows industriously
Inclined, to promote from the heart what
it takes to become anything worthy outside.

I would call excessive greed gluttony, a vice of the self,
Because the individual does not know that he's
Indulging in self, grabbing and accumulating,
what's his or not his.

Though nice and perhaps charming and sweet as a pie,
This one could erupt scattering volcanic larva everywhere.
A calm answer turns away wrath the Good Book did say.

Lust as "L" as in Lucifer, without any love,
A longing desire satisfying a fantasy whim,
Though the victims may hurt, but not their will.

Greed, casting eyes over to see what Stella has,
Stealthily taking or bullying away, because of a
Longing for whatever you see, when you can't
Use it, just give it away.

Jesus had no pride leaving his royal throne,
And even washed his disciples feet. How can we
Follow in his steps and be, of service for each
Other as God still is to us?

So these deadly seven are really sins,
Detested and hated by the Father and by the Son.
So work from the inside, imperfections are without,
And will gleefully mold you to the shape and form,
That are the deadliest sins ever known to man.

I have tried to poetically interpret, the seven deadly sins and how humankind could be drawn like a net into these web-like forces. Sometimes others have to show or guide us away from such a smear. Don't give up on a "brother" who is down!

Premium Member Morons Are Governing Again

Smoke drifts from the smokestacks
On dark and gloomy days
Just before the first rains of Summer
Crates are collected and stacked
And thrown onto the conveyor belt
So they may disappear into the fortress

A robot sings songs of yesteryear
And humans simply stand by and observe
Give these jeering men some credits
Lest they starve without work
With their blossoming bellies
But they sure love Conservatism

Starving mothers fling underweight babies
Into the jaws of an unforgiving sea
Because they can't take care of them
But neither could they spare them
Remember when a wise man once said
Elections have consequences

A tower is built slowly from the ground up
It starts off small but becomes massive over time
Just like petty rants from the bird's nest seem small
Until they collect over time and form dogma
An entire generation tainted by evil
And the devil himself is blushing

Alas drown your sorrows at the beach
And swim in a sea of glittering garbage
Because this great sea sure does flow
Where thriving cities once stood
But now they reside deep underwater
Entombed by science denial

And for every peace loving Christian
Is one who spreads dissension like disease
Who thrives on stapling gays to the cross
As if it were 1965 in the redneck south
And in truth every person who lets it happen
Is just as guilty as the transgressors

When the good lord said love thy neighbor
Could he have known they'd cast the first stone
Upon all the liars and all the sinners
Just peel apart the jowls of the maiden sinner
And find the seven deadly sins cowering
From a man dressed in a burlap sack

Patience for appeasers is something I lack
And as I rip away the images of this distorted future
I look to the future in two years from now
And I just hope deep in my heart we've had enough
Because at first 2016 gave me a future to believe in
But now Morons Are Governing Again

Premium Member The Sin Question

"Let him who is without sin cast the first stone", said The Master. Her accusers walked away, leaving the offender alone with The Master. Like our own, the sins of David are more than meets the eye, and I suspect if walls could talk, all the universe would cry. But God has been known to highlight certain sins for the record of man. We are then left without excuse, and all the world can clearly understand. David's sin of adultery with Bathsheba reveals the problem of LUST, and adultery follows lust like hunger pains before a forbidden meal. David's sin of murder against Uriah reveals the problem of FEAR, and fear is often the antecedent and driving force of murder.
David's sin of numbering his people reveals the problem of PRIDE. The sin was not about the census, but the 'Big I' and the 'Big Me' inside. And pride is one of the seven deadly sins and most destructible. Attitudes of 'Look at me and my accomplishments' are never acceptable. Such pride is one sin inherited by Adam's seed which includes all of us. Moreover, a humility that says, "Look at what the Lord is doing", is a must. David's sin of moving the Ark of the Covenant reveals the problem IGNORANCE. In all endeavors of life, without regards to motive, God is to be consulted before acting.
