September 29 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Haggai 1-2
Key Verse – Haggai 1:5 Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
FAITH IN GOD WHO COMMANDS US TO CONSIDER OUR WAYS
God commands us to consider our ways by His perfect time
Letting our faith grow along His precepts’ truthful prime
Toward fruitful stewardship of diligence-chime
Not to be bought with any worldly financial dime.
God commands us to consider our ways by His assured calling
Letting our faith increase along His Scriptural fulfilling
Toward committed service with His approval sealing
Not to be knocked out through carnal failing.
God commands us to consider our ways by His powerful Word
Letting our faith uphold His covenant record
Toward effective use of the Spirit’s sword
Not to be hidden inside cowardice-ford.
God commands us to consider our ways by His sanctifying holiness
Letting our faith glow along His imputed righteousness
Toward bright Christian testimony of good works’ bountifulness
Not to be reproached because of pride and selfishness.
God commands us to consider our ways by His merciful grace
Letting our faith triumph in running life’s race
Toward exalting His name in all our days
Not to be humiliated along our haughtiness-pace.
God commands us to consider our ways by His pleasant comfort
Letting our faith seek His favour against discontentment’s retort
Toward joyful obedience for ministerial effort
Not to be convinced for personal gain as vain resort.
God commands us to consider our ways by His guiding hand
Letting our faith continue to comply to His divine demand
Toward strong conviction upon steadfast stand
Not to be discouraged in reaching the promised land.

Without You ORIGINAL VERSION
All I ever do is dream about you
I dream of your eyes…
And the beauty inside them
I dream of your arms…
And the way they have held me
I dream of your love…
And then I start crying
Because alone in the night, I realize
Without you… am I even me?
Without You REWRITE
All I ever do is dream about you
I dream of your eyes…
As they dance with so much life
I dream of your arms…
How they’ve held me so tightly
I dream of your love…
Before the tears start to fall
Reminding me that without you…
I’ll forever be without my heart!

In love with words- I'lyezette
Have always loved words,
that take over my emotions,
The muse flies swift as birds,
as pen sets ink in motion,
Deeper in thoughts I drown,
when no words come to my rescue,
Failure then paints frown,
awaits a reecho to pursue,
Masterfully crafted and chiseled,
gleeful words rock in phloem,
On soup's first page I sizzled,
as an eloquently structured poem !

Poem written last year-
For the love of words
Deep in love with words,
I keep digging through the day,
Although words fail me,
Still can't help reverberate,
I am a structured poem !

A FIRST !
BIRTHDAY
I saw the Ghost, of thirty seven years
let go of, set free, smiles, laughter, no tears.
I watched, as you glowed in the light of life,
letting go of, what caused you so much strife.
You gave into life, on this your thirty eighth Birthday.
For the first time in your life, you put the Ghost, away,
set Her, free so that you could be, let your spirit play
with your friends, family and me on this, your Birthday.
I can not help but think, your mother, is happy to know
that after all these years, the sadness, guilt you've let go
and realize that Her, sacrifice gave birth and life to you.
This is the ultimate sacrifice a Mother, can do
for the child She, LOVED with all Her, life.
Your heart, spirit, soul felt the cut from that knife
for thirty seven long and sad years.
Now - the thirty eighth - time to shed no more tears.
This She, did for you Xiao Ling, so you could live,
make Her, proud, watch you grow, see you give,
know that, in you, Her Spirit, Her Soul, lives on.
One day - thirty eighth Birthday - know She's not gone,
lingering on in your memory's hoard, inside your heart.
Your thirty eighth Birthday has given you a new start,
one, that throughout the years to come,
you - joy, happiness from
will light up the skies,
will fill your Mother's, eyes.
Nothing in this universe, ever dies!
In this, A truth lies.

Walking through the corridors of my dream,
Down the boulevard of anguish, it seems,
Breathing in the knell of an unreadable sky,
Haunt Harbinger hypostatization, holding high
Dimly lit guests, snow troopers, and a piano key
Playing a dismal dirge, an internal funeral melody.
Insightful memories on the dark side warn us
Anger and passion, the cusp of nuclear dourness
Letters written in sepia script, a child's scare
In this circumstance, an illustration of despair
A startled, hoary invoice manifests in the mail.
Chaste in Gulag, cognizant of the time roll on stale
Shattering and breaking through the glass box.
The axe grooves on raw wood and blocks.
A misheard song, carefully shattering a splash.
The spear is reflected in the water by a slash.
Hope mirrors shake fate spears to consume.
A rare bedazzlement, a reflection of optimism.
Swords of inertia rattle, eager for consumerism.
But I drudge, unfazed, in this dream, I resume
Where the power of a single act of kindness
Can shatter darkness and bestow brightness.
I walk on, carrying the weight of the past.
But never forget that it won't last.
In this dream, I find solace and peace.
In the midst of chaos, pain, and cease
The blue sky is melting into green.
A symbol of hope, of a raw scene.

Poetry is the rhythm of the heart and soul. Poetry is more than art is a part of our lives. Poetry comes in many shapes and colors. It is rhythm at it's deepest core. Poetry is all around us in the air. It is a rhythm of every living creation. Everything has a song, and everything has a story. Poetry it is something that is extraordinary, and more than ordinary. Poetry expresses pain. It expresses overflowing joy, and every emotion that is felt in between. Poetry is everywhere just look and see you might even be speaking poetry Don't You see. Poetry can be the beauty of a tree, or the buzzing of a bumblebee. Poetry is all around us can't you see it's in The Melody of the tunes that we hear in the musical beats. It is in the summer heat. Poetry is for the rich and is for the poor. Poetry is for every girl and every boy. Poetry is a creation of God. Poetry is an original to each and everyone. We all have our stories to tell, no matter who you are.
Pinnacle
Climbing slowly
Up the mountain
And relishing each step,
As success glorifies
And vibes of joy strike,
Through sunny prickle
And soothing moonlight,
Stopping midway
As touches the breeze
You heave a sigh,
One glance upward
Sparkle of content,
Bravo more you go,
Crest to culminate
Just one look down
From where you came,
And feel the beauty
The power up there
Another war conquered,
It's so light here!
Who ever has seen
The lava boil inside,
Volcanoes beneath
Ready to erupt,
pinnacle you reached
Turns to history
Another fine day!

asked... milk and honey dripped from my lips

NOT been kind to me." Rupi Kaur
_____________
My path in life has been t a n g l e d from my beginnings-
I met DEATH at an early age and it seems he has followed me,
and as a quiet and shy child I soon knew all about bullies . . .
But instead of breaking me- it made me stronger!
I have a STRENGTH within that is unfathomable ~
At times, I have fallen into the pit of life and clawed my way out,
have been put down, abused, belittled, cast out, and forgotten.
But kindness has always d r i p p e d from my lips, cause kindness is the key.

Ever Faithful God* cares with His “gracious guiding"
His “wise ways” lead for spiritual ‘grow, glow, go
midst limitless ‘love above’ --- “freely, fully” offered…
Jesus, King Lord Master warms ‘blest zest’, divinely ecstatic
His “redemption ransom” “secures soul” from hell’s arena
toward ‘triumphant jubilant’ “heavenly-hoisted” endeavor
thru “sincere supplication, smiting selfish” arrogance
for eternal ‘worship-partnership’, “preciously priceless”.
