Mask of Snowy White

I came home one evening after a hard day at work,
To find a surprise waiting for me.
I ran to the table, my heart filled of glee.
I imagined him sneaking in with a sexy little smirk.

It was a wooden box, beside it a mask of snowy white
I opened it up and found a note.
Written on it was a cute quote:
“We will dance until the clock strikes midnight”

I followed the rose pedals sprinkled on the floor,
They led me to my bedroom.
My heart went boom, boom, boom,
As I opened the door.

I could not believe what I found,
For it was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
An elegant white with a beads of green.
On my bed was a gorgeous gown.

There was another letter,
This one written out in pedals all across the bed.
The message read:
“There is a hole in my heart, and seeing you tonight will make it all better”

I put on the dress and looked in the mirror.
And I found another remark.
“Get all dressed up and come to the old park,
Our moment together draws nearer and nearer.”

I rushed down the stairs,
Grabbed the mask on the way out.
Ran down the street, my mind clear of all doubt,
For this man was the answer to my prayers.

I got to the park and saw him waiting,
And I discovered I was not the only one to wear a mask.
He told me that I had one more task.
He said “Close your eyes and think back to when we started dating”

Obeying him, I closed my eyes,
And without me knowing, he got down on one knee.
Everything fell silent, then I heard “Desiree will you marry me?”
That’s when my heart burst into a million fireflies.

I opened my eyes, stuck in a trance
As I was not expecting this thrill.
I flung my arms around him and replied “Oh Stephen of course I will!”
Just then he grabbed me and we began to dance.

Just like his note said,
We danced until the clock struck midnight,
Holding me close with all his might,
Right on his shoulder is where I placed my head.

The rain began to pour,
So we ran hand in hand.
He said “This is not how I planned”
Then we reached my door.

We entered my house,
Where it was all cozy and dry.
Once again my heart began to fly,
As I stared into the eyes of my soon to be spouse.

All he said was “I Love You”
That was all I wanted to hear,
For me to wipe away all fear.
Knowing he loved me, I replied “I Love You Too”

*Not a true story, just a sort of fanatasy I suppose*

Hey Linda What Did You Mean U Read It Cuz It Was Me So Could You Kindly Tell Me Who I Am

linda-----listen to Leonard Cohen any song on youtube.....puhhhhhh leasssssse
he'll make you feel as inadaaquate as he does me, betcha....i cannot listen to his
words early because i would never write another word during the day.....DO NOT let
me know if he is or is not an unmitigated genius because I dig cliff hangars your
friend, ~free!~ AN UNFORGETTABLE EVE WHEN THE WIND OPTED TO
BLOW
                                              SNOW
Saturday sought Snow and became a shawl for the entire northeast
but for me it was heaven sent
The lights from the lounge reflected off the white wide world
And the evening’s festivities were akin to feathers blessed by flight
It was the final tune of that night so right
And then she mystically appeared,
that evening’s gift to me
But no, ’twas music and dance no more for us that eve or evermore

For the band was on their symphonic way
And I did not inquire as to how I could touch her once again
So you see,
As seasons do disparate deeds April slay the snow………………
And as the ice and snow had done
sorrowfully she was gone

Hours devoured days since I’d held her hand to dance
Alas when dreamed did I of her
By what name wouldst she be summoned forth
Thusly I gave her many names
All mellifluent
All melodic
All floral
All names that claimed a soul serene

Each day I’d wonder why I lost that which would sustain me alone
No food, no drink, but ever do not wrench us two apart
I knew not the trail to her abode,
on a street blessed by her presence
No way to see that sight of light and brightness for me to behold

The next week I was calling Saturday sadder day
Yet and still a friend coaxed me into going where I had found the first sight of a
lady who was the embodiment of love made mystic by the music’s end
Never to be continued

Someone opened the door to the lounge
And the band was playing some kind of classical composition mixed with jazz
My eyes scanned the room that she might as I had, come there
but for to meet me
And yes, there she was, and smiled sensually as she drew near
We both agreed that week had been a master with no heart
And still, for years we’ve danced to music that gave our love its most romantic

A Cashier's Crush

I can't seem to concentrate or even get my
mind right. I'm losing sleep and suffer
from a sudden loss of apetite. I'm shakin'
in the heat and sweatin' in the snow and
all the while this is happening, this girl
don't even know that she haunts me in my
dreams and I wake up in a sweat. She's like
an old recurring dream that I just can't
forget. I'm feeling like I'm ill, like I've
caught some sort of flu. I feel like I could
faint when she steps into my view. She's
out of the ordinary; nothing like I've ever
seen. It's like my heart plays the puppet
and she's tuggin' on the strings. She's
knows that she's a beauty and she's
probably sick of hearing about it. But that's
the drug that gets me lifted. Like a junkie,
can't live without it. It's like an unspoken
agreement that this girl is such a hottie.
And the talk around the cooler is that man,
she's got a body. Her hair flows for days
and her eyes could cast spells. Soft skin
like a pearl just released from its shell. Her
voice is like a song sung only by those with
halos. Plus she's got a booty similar to that
of J.Lo's. But the thing that's really crazy is
that we've never really spoken. We're still
strangers and the "ice" has never really
broken. There's this mystery about her
that not only appeals to me, it makes me
want her more because it feels so real to
me. I pray that at work she's the one that
works beside me. Then maybe I could
reveal these feelings I have that eat inside
me. But I don't wanna jump the gun or get
ahead of myself but she has brought out
all these feelings that for so long I haven't
felt. I've gained a little wisdom as to how
relationships go but I still wanna go old
school and write little notes. I'll tell her
that I like her and ask her if she feels the
same. Check yes or check no. Don't forget
to sign your name. But I gotta do
something because I'm losing to much
time. Before I know it she'll be gone and
I'll be left wondering why. I just gotta say
more than three words and things should
be cool. I just hope that I don't stutter and
end up looking like a fool. It's just when I
look her in the eyes my mind starts to flip
and all I can think to say is "uh, what's the
code for chips."

Regret… My reply to "HE"; a poem written for me by SOS!

Where to begin…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I enjoyed you immensely even back then
You meant more to me than just a friend
The closer we became
The more I felt it would end…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We always had fun
Never thought about the long run
No commitments to each other
Yet we were more than friends... We were lovers…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Too good to be true... Just look at the clues
Remember "no expectations"
Remember we are "just cool"
Remember these were our rules...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We both had issues and I didn’t think twice
I was soft and gentle offering wisdom, experience, and advice
Personal experience reminded me of the pains in your life
I knew something was wrong... I felt something was just not right...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
But we had nothing to lose
No future in sight
How I wish you trusted me
I needed you to shed some light…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What were you feeling
How were you dealing
That your heart needed healing
Revealed what you were concealing…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Left to answer these questions on my own
Left in the dark all alone
Left with the door cracked in “Danger Zone”
Left with fear of the unknown...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
FEAR TOOK MY HAND AND LEAD ME TO ROAM...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I’d been hurt just a short time before
My heart was hiding behind steel doors
Somehow you cracked it and let fear in
Fear is powerful and fear did win...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
THANKFULLY THIS WAS JUST THE BEGINNING... THIS WAS NOT OUR END...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Only time will tell if our wounds are healed
Little by little we break the seal's of fear
Little by little we open up and reveal
What’s in our hearts and what we truly feel…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We have learned from the mistakes of our past
Taken a new direction; created a new path
Neither one of us is hiding behind a mask
This time will be better...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
THIS TIME I HOPE IT WILL LAST...
Sex Scenario
I'm so glad that you came to see me, let me take
your bag, you look so beautiful tonight I wanna take it
bad,
but patience is a virtue as my Daddy used to say, I
think that when I'm done they'll have to carry you
away.
That's later on, right now I say we sit and chill a bit, I
got some DVDs so go ahead and pick a flick,
there're dutches by the fridge I plan to give a little
twist, and fill em up with piff to get us both a little lit.
A hundred eighty minutes later, movie time is done,
we're baked like Grandma's cake on Sunday, now
it's time for fun,
we've both been touchy feely during movies being
viewed, a kiss that's executed perfect leaves you
being nude.
I see your nether regions garner nary strand of hair,
my mouth begins to water and I'm barely standing
there,
for gravity is dragging me right down into the floor,
erected hard and stiff like bodies struck with
rigarmor.
You take me in your mouth real slow and time is at a
crawl, my knees are trembling lightly as I'm poking
out my draws,
the bobble-head you give is like your neck's a greasy
hinge, my cheesy grin just means that you've
unleashed the beast within.
Enough's enough, I lay you down, your legs at 10:15,
my mouth then wanders aimless all around and in
the seams,
your tightened wizard sleeve you seem to store in
skinny jeans, just call me Milkcum X, I'll get you off by
any means.
You bust off automatic like a weapon 50-Cal, I'm
black belt in the martial art of sticky licky style,
but even Shaolin monks of old possess their limits
too, I ease into your wetness like a city swimming
pool.
You like it from behind and on this fact I do agree,
your oven's temp'rature feels like it's 92 degrees,
which makes me snap and crackle with a popping
through my knees, releasing hot rice krispies all up
in your gooey treat.
We pause to catch a breath before we share a snack
with death, the time that we've let go don't mean we
can't get back what's left,
the night's still in its infancy and though we're
roughly drained, your touch means stuff has
changed, I guess we'll see how much remains.
What If...
What if I said you're too strong of a woman to worry about a loss?
What if I said you could have any type of man you'd possibly want?
No matter what your Knight will always be by your side,
And as my Angel I know you'll always be here even if I need a guide.
What if you were single for a year and then decided you want me as your man?
Do you think I would be available to step forward and take grasp to your hand?
I'm a patient man but there's a limit to my waiting,
But then again I must remember it's been years since I did some dating.
What if someone came along and swept you off your feet?
Or vice versa do you think either of us would feel defeat?
Put together all the what if's that are floating throughout your mind,
Then cast them all out because the answers will not be easy to find.
What if this and what if that questions will stress you more than you imagine,
You should continue to move forward and start making subtractions.
If we are meant to be then we shall be together,
And even though we have deep emotions doesn't mean we'll be forever.
Live your life and only worry yourself of your own happiness,
And don't be fooled by petty game or a drunken kiss.
But please hear this cause I must confess,
My heart has been screaming at me so listen to this.
What if I fell for you and didn't want no one else to stand in the way?
What if you're the woman I'd rather wake up to everyday?
What if I cared so much for you I would rather you be happy even if that meant with
someone else?
Your well-being matters more than my own loneliness which is just another matter to be dealt.
Miss A.W., you are one of a kind and truly one unique woman that's hard to find,
Your alter ego Destiny...speaks to my soul and fills me with the right amount of joy to
put me in a peace of mind.
Angel...to me you are beautiful...exciting...a very rare person I'd love to share my life
with,
Every aspect about yourself makes me believe that God personally sent me a gift.
Everything you are is exactly what I need in my life,
Answer this...what if I could feel that your heart wants me involved in your life?
Good Morning 2u2
Laying in the bed beside you, early morning light,
cascades into the window banishing all signs of
night,
your sleeping frame presents to me an appetizing
sight, I'll wake you up as only I can do, with sheer
delight.
You're underneath the comforter because of
morning chill, I gently ease it off prepared to give you
more than thrills,
your sexy thighs define mine eyes they're slightly
parted still, I drape your legs across my shoulders,
zero movement; nill.
My face descends your waist I breathe in deep your
sweet'ning air, the peaches that I plan to eat secrete
a sweet'ning flair,
that trickles just a little we can race, I'll meet you
there, my tongue becomes The One like Neo
leaping through the air.
The 1st lick stirs your body lightly, is this just a
dream? Your womanhood's dessert I'm talkin
peaches AND the cream,
which seemingly's inviting me to your forbidden
seams, you moan and then it's quiet, I call THAT a
silent scream.
The shock is wearing off and now the sound starts
coming out, your legs are softly tremb'ling as my
tongue moves all about,
like surgery most certainly but this aint nip and tuck, I
introduce my special skill, I call it 'lick and suck'.
This means that simultan'eously my tongue as well
as lips, are working hard in tandem to dismantle
your defense,
just like a potent passing game I'm rackin up the
yards, I throw to 2 receivers that'll make you scream
for God.
See now that's what you're doing as we're entering
that stretch, the sun is shining bright outside and yet
you're soaking wet,
sook sookie not a rooke status labels me a vet, I
spell the alphabet which makes you gush all on my
neck.
I latch on like a newborn baby latches on to feed,
you're sudd'nly strong as 20 men, I guess that's it
indeed,
you look at me astoundingly not knowing what to do,
I wink an eye and wipe my mouth, good morning to
you too.
Room C13
I raced through my chores, braided my hair in cornrows
Meticulously washed my body, daub the back of my ears
The insides of my elbow, and my wrist, with my then cheap perfume
There my pulse beat, no longer fluttering like a butterfly
But racing away at 5 horsepower speed
I put on my favorite dress, navy blue with tiny white polka dots
Red buttons going down from the neck to the hem
Flowing skirt falling from a cinched waist to mid calf
Finally I slide my feet into cream patient clogs
Adorned with red petals on the sides
“Mom I’ll be back soon”.  I said
“OK dear, walk safe and don’t stay out late”.  She said
Through the door I dashed and across Pancho’s open lot
Anticipation taking control of my pounding heart
Each step I took carried me one step closer
But in fact, felt like I wasn’t going fast enough
I hurried along the Spanish Town to Kingston main road
Going west to Jamaica School of Agriculture
Where in its core lies building C room #13
Within room C13, awaits, like the earth void of rain
My man, my lover, my friend
I entered the portals of JSA, the guards smiled with me
Knowingly!  They knew me enough by this
Not to enquire of my reason for entering
I climbed the hills, though smooth the road
Entered campus grounds, hardly a breath could catch
With racing heart and panting breath, I entered building C
Up the stairs I swept like a queen entering her throne room
Tap, tap, tap, on the door of #13, the door swings open
There standing before me, a magnificent specimen of humanity
My lover
Tall as the pine tree, dark as mahogany, and oh, so handsome!
He took my hand, and I entered his web
Kisses me as if I was his oasis, his fountain of cool clear water,
To quench his dry and thirsty being
I felt sweet drowning, like a moth to the flame being pulled
Sweet whispers, heart-stopping kisses, frantic hands
And, and, and……
Never forgotten memories of you, sweet, dearest David
Aberration defines this creature
He walks among us all
Although he blends quite well
Is only seen at nightfall…
>“Master DeRay, I’ve found doubt in myself,”
Says Tate, in cold confusion
“My eyes beheld a beauty, her blood…
Smelled so luxurious, I WANTED IT,
I YEARNED for it, but some urge against myself
Restricted me from her taste…”
His mind pondered his words- he uttered slowly,
“…as if she was favored against me.”
DeRay alarmed, sifted swiftly toward Tate
Face so filled with hatred
Scornful looks, that could pierce Tate’s granite form.
“So you’ve been consumed by infatuation, eh…”
Words like venom from the tongue
“An ignited flame in the devil him self:
The enchanter has been enchanted.
Have you reached the un-dead senile age?”
DeRay belted a screech of laughter
From the pit of his empty stomach…
“Ah, but the strong finds his weakness…
After 335 long years…
What do you propose I do with you now?”
Tate leans closer, his eyes a twisted noir
“ What do you wish...master…brother?”
A taunt towards DeRay, as he whispers the reply,
“ Leave me Tate, I ban you from this court,
If I see you again, you know I must
Bring your everlasting life to it’s end”
Tate shot a saddened glare
Which brought shivers to DeRay’s spine
“I will not stand below you DeRay,
Your power, Is an equal to mine. Just as you say
We can’t feel, yet I do,
I will show you we can live without
The need to kill.”
DeRay turns to respond,
But, Tate obeyed his will.
A young woman he seeks.
An un-beating heart fulfilled….<
Best For Last
They say one man's trash is another man's treasure
& they treat you like garbage bags full of invaluable nothings
While I treat you like
A pirate chest full of priceless undiscovered riches
& I bask in the glory of my wealth
But others look at me as a poor man
But I don't care
I want to lay my face on you mahogany skin
Catch whiff of your scent with my senses
Grasps by the sensation
My body explodes
Erupt with utter passion
You make me feel a way I never felt before
& your all I need & I never want more
You say all the right things without a clue
So Im going to say the best for last
Your the one for me & Im the one for you
 I want you, my priceless treasure chest
To open your chest
Let me in
If I didn't have enough already
Give me more reasons to love you
Allow me to lay a finger on you
& feel the smooth slickness of your soul
So if, God willing
We are able to be together
For the rest of our lives
When our hair is the color of storm clouds & tombstones
& our bones sound like skin sliding against plastic
I will recite this poem & see the look on your face
& as you smile
The wrinkles near your eyes
Look like a willow tree praising proudly against the wind
You are the one for me
It's always been you
The one I was looking for
I'm glad I didn't settle for a lover
Who's a little more boring but a lot less picky
Because those love filled conversations
I never would have known
Would be missed
Lastly you are the best thing that has ever happened to me
You are the butter to my bread & the breath to my life
& as this journey continues
I pray that the mistakes we made
Brings us closer together
You make me feel a way I never felt before
& your all I need & I never want more
You say all the right things without a clue
So Im going to say the best for last
Your the one for me & Im the one for you
