When True Love Is Found

As the clock strikes midnight
And there's a full moon in the sky
Into our room she walks
Something catches my eye

It's the black lacy piece she's wearing
Hemmed low to draw me in
Revealing curves of delight
Tanned undulations of skin

Her sexy swagger delights
As I turn from the window to view
The man in me hungers
Excitement now flows through

We stand in hold together
Our hands in wandering mode
I pray this night never ends
As our future hours erode

Our cries like anthem sounds
Echo from our hearts
Two souls from broken pasts
Cementing their new start

We awake in the morning
Spooned from captured joy
This first of many a night
True love, this girl and boy

"two souls from broken pasts. cementing their new start.." wow!! i love that lines... :) but somehow submitting to such part of loving isn't at all a guarantee.. The sexual act spices the physical expression but it's more than it.. :) and I wish guys know this.. though this world may seem so modern now and it seems "sex" like a casual thing... i wish some will still think otherwise... passionate write mr. JAmes.. !

When true Love is found, their Love abounds. There is still some honourability in this lovely world relating to what they want from each other. But I agree, "sex" is a loose canon historically, everywhere - James :)

Young love portrayed in its romantic finery, dear James. (I tried the lace nighty thing to no avail once, just a bit of laughter from my late husband.) Very sensual scenario conveyed in perfect rhyme and meter! You're the "passion prince" on Poetry Soup. Love, Carolyn
