Few times of the year are as glorified as this.
It is the Sabbath of Litha, the summer solstice.
Just two hours before dawn in the dark of morning,
among the witches gathered is a pretty thing.
With fiery red hair, she’s making my heart sing.
In a small clearing in the middle of the wood,
this young longhaired maiden looks much better than good.
The coven joins hands as they circle an oak tree.
The summer’s full moon light enhances her beauty.

You are the prettiest of the witches in your coven.
Seeing you sky-clad is getting me hotter than an oven.
Upon me, you must have cast a powerful spell.
It has control over me. It is working well.
How I would like to join you in this early hour.
I don’t want a talisman to quash your power.
Seeing you revitalizes my energy.
May earth, air, water, and fire dwell in harmony.
Later this morning, won’t you spend some time with me?

I am not an adherent to witchcraft or any other form of neopaganism.

Famous last words: "the taste of death is upon my lips. I feel something that is not of this earth"

In the quiet thoughts, an inkling
where God stills the breath,
soothing away the shadow’s gloom
with a silhouette of the rising moon
and stars who reflect gentle truth
His love is alive and revitalizes,
resting upon heart and soul
in millions of notes – poured out
angels sing, expressions of pure gold

in the music, a newly found chord
awakening the spirit, stirring
fires beneath the sun’s soft glow
gentling the tears that believe
this isn’t the end – because they see
yes, they see…

unlike the finality that the undertaker vows
there is a reunion in the sky, a hope for you and I
awaiting in the clouds, the tears are no more
where there was once a fear, there is light
light that pours across the heavens, blessings
restoring the heart and soul, making us completely whole
remembering the sins of doubt no more

when we leave this earth, and remembering
the new birth…
winds take away the past, the shame
falls under the wings of angels who sing
amazing grace, the way has been made
when leaving the known, to go into eternity
there is the wonder of a hope, far sweeter
a hope of life when we meet with….

Jesus Christ, the King of each hope
The Maker of light – the most familiar friend,
Telling hearts who hear – there is nothing to fear
He is always here, forever wiping away each tear
Because there is love far sweeter than we’ve known
Love that sings its melody in the richness of a space
Which feeds the soul such amazing grace…
On and on… we sing His praise. Oh, precious Savior
How I shall praise You ~ forever and ever!

Quote: The sky exudes a serene splendor after a storm, a soft serenity that revitalizes the ruined land. By Poet.

                                    *********************

Breathing the crisp air by a sunlit brookside,
where spring is nested in the snowy stride.
I felt the serenity of the world grow mild —
as if the highlands were nurturing a child.

The inn with its halcyon mosaic glow —
held the night as a lantern cradled in snow.
Stars danced slowly in the alpine breeze,
soft as lullabies sung by the trees.

Aged innkeeper’s hands shaped the bread,
as blessings warmed in the embers' bed.
Her tea — spiced cloves and heated coal —
was what I sought to soothe my restless soul.

Below, the river laughed in the sunlight,
a silver thread through greenery, bright.
Its whispers stitched the hours so pale,
until my breath matched its stillness, frail.

Evenings carried the scent of earth made anew,
with nutmeg drying in the morning dew.
Children raced down the "moss — soft" stone,
while quiescence poured deep within my bones —

I painted the sunset—equanimity and fire —
an artwork born from a lasting desire.
I named it for the tranquility I claim —
that gentle hour when gold meets flame.

Then, quietly and warmly, I stand again —
to dismantle walls in the familiar den.
Serenity, akin to a patient guide,
extends its palms in my mind, slow tide.

Premium Member Watch Children Laugh

With an open heart and a loving mind
Affection flowing from my grateful pores,
The sight that so beautifully spends my time,
Children laughing and playing out of doors.
Here I sit soaking in adoring sun,

Children playing silly games in my drive,
Having a world of good, clean fun
Innocent hopefulness is so alive,
Loving my catbird seat, watching them play.
Dashing and darting, laughing with goodness.
Revitalizes me in every way.
Enthusiasm blatant must confess.
Nostalgia sets in, remembering my youth.

Leisurely days with my grandchildren here.
Aware suddenly I’m long in the tooth.
Urgent plea comes in from the youngest now.
Grandma, you can play! You surely know how.
Happiness Reigns, so take that Aunt Ruth!

Premium Member Beach Side Meditation By the Sea

A daily pilgrimage to the seaside refreshes and revitalizes by imposing meditation.
The rhythm of the tides and surge of the waves, to and fro, in and out
Calms the spirit of those listening to, and watching, the pulsing mantra of waves breaking,
Whooshing and hissing, splashing and dashing, surging up the shore and back.
Every day the sea is different in some way,
Yet like an old friend, forever familiar as the same old sea and ocean.
The waves break and rush white with foam, bubbles and froth up the wet shore
Leaving wedding gown train crescents on smooth glistening wet sand.
The rhythm of the sound and visual surge of the image is meditation
To all who come to the shore daily to be refreshed, adore and pay homage
To 'mater mer', the mother and matrix, and womb of all life, here, on Planet Water.

Premium Member Purity of White

Clouds, cotton balls, a fresh canvas, a crisp page, snow
White lives free, with confidence and no apology.
Popcorn, whipped cream, milk, cream of wheat
She is pure and innocent, fresh, and comfortable
I am honored to know her.

Freeing herself up from all the problems of the world,
White lives her truth, renewing, refreshing, inspiring
I reach for her to paint puffed up clouds,
It revitalizes my painting, beautiful contrast to the sun.
She makes me feel loved and cherished.

In the evening I sit in awe of her moon.
All knowing, self-assured, watching, enlisting silence.
White freshens up everything
She has a purity that cannot be duplicated.
A combination of all colors, she tugs at my artist heart.

Premium Member The Five Questions At Heaven's Gate

I do not believe in a judgement gate
I do believe in heaven’s gate
I feel when we arrive there will be five questions.
Who did you love? How many did you love?
How did you show them love?

Did you love everyone you saw or only your friends and family?
Did you show them love in empathy and compassion?
it is my truth, and I live it daily, for I know the benefits
Showing and sharing love to everyone I meet
Showing love to animals also. It revitalizes and rejuvenates me.

It keeps me skipping forward toward heaven.
Fearing no one, knowing I have done my best today.
Ready to answer these questions if I should be turned over to heaven.

Hopeful Hearts

Old wishes carried into the new year,
Former desires brought into the new year,
Dim lamps longing for brightness in the new year,
Incomplete books searching for the missing pages in the new year,
Feeble trees in need of vitality elixir in the new year.

Redemption songs buoy the soul into a new world,
The bell chimes in the old cathedral reminding us of the creed,
Orbs in the sky strengthen the weary elements for another chapter,
A divine majesty accompanies us into a new arena,
The old fountain still grants wishes.

The new year revitalizes frail strands,
The new year highlights the pale colours,
The new year wets the parched ground,
The new year replaces worn-out tyres,
Bring your old wishes into the new year with hopeful hearts.
