Greater Consciousness

Greater Consciousness
08/17/2015

Imagine humankind in a future time
Could perceive each other’s mind.
What would it be like to do this thing
And the kind of world it would bring?

My insight of what would come about
Probably is sorely lacking no doubt.
But I will try in rhyme to give my take
Of how this will cause a human remake.

Could many brains make such a noise
That your psyche it destroys?
I very much hope and believe it would not
Be the result of so much thought.

Would politicians have to retire
No longer able to lie or conspire?
Could other crimes be in the past,
Criminals finally eliminated at last?

Would freedoms of expression be curtailed
By thought police with info very detailed,
Or would enlightenment reign so not a single jail
Or any form of bureaucracy would prevail?

Would war and armies be gone
Because humankind can easily get along
As misunderstanding and hatred of the other
Is not possible when in mind we’re together?

Would “I” and “me” disappear overnight
As we share all our thoughts forthright,
No longer needing the phone or internet
Would communications be very intimate?

Would science and arts be transformed
As all would be well informed
Of new ideas and concepts in their spheres
Pushing both rapidly toward new frontiers?

Could we travel through one another
Seeing the worlds beauty would we discover
A experience more than just virtual reality
Bringing us together as if one “nationality”?

Would privacy be dead
Every inner thought known unsaid
As we evolve and transform
Could this become part of a new norm?

Could we pickup thoughts of a dog
Or would they be sensed as if in a fog?
Would our perceptions of all life be different,
Much more connected and reverent?

Would we continue to speak,
And if not would it change our physique,
Leaving the world silent, not a word said,
Except inside everyone’s head?

Imagine us beyond our current ken,
Could we finally reach our Zen,
Becoming a greater consciousness thru emergence
As a result of our mind convergence?

Mystic Rose's NEW FRONTIERS OR GREATER CONSCIOUSNESS

Explanation:
Three major emergences are known–matter, life and consciousness.
Could we reach a fourth emergent state poorly defined as "godhood" in the west or possibly better defined as enlightenment or awakening as in Buddhism?

Albatross

I see it now
flying low
over silver-spumed waves.

I am a watcher
I can enlarge the picture
        zoom in
look into bright midnight eyes
        as if it were I
that propelled it.

Spreading bright foils
catching the billowing blows,
a clean swell-rigged clipper
      sky-sailing sailor
tacking to gypsy winds.
Within its avian breast a magnetic compass
                     on a pivoting gimbal,
soon to make a terrible landfall.

For a ship came upon it
a craft arrayed in the guise of a cruel crocodile,

snagged from the air it snared the voyager.
A ship blighted by its own wake,
                                    a very flowering of evil.
A wandering navigator brutishly used,
deckhands bundling broken wings
bound it as if a flopping fish,
gaffed its body open

         to a hollow of hope.

I also recall a monstrous time
inside a crocodiles smile,
          a time when poetry
was cut from my lips.
Yet here I am flying
in an airplane looking down
upon England,
following an albatross
            only I can see.

Few crocodilians in London
yet more perilous reptiles there,
I shall have to take more care,
plot a fairy-tale revenge
with Peter Pan’s time-frozen statue.

                                At last to Paris
a windborne glide tracking a dream
of slow rowing wings,
there to dine with a restless ghost
who knows well enough
how dangerous monsters
can be

on land and sea.

There to restore myself

            with Baudelaire.
to remake over

an imagined albatross of a life,
return it to humanity,
should it ever want to be
                  that flightless.

~~~~~
“Often to pass the time on board, the crew
will catch an albatross, one of those big birds
which nonchalantly chaperone a ship
across the bitter fathoms of the sea.
Tied to the deck, this sovereign of space,
as if embarrassed by its clumsiness,
pitiably lets its great white wings
drag at its sides like a pair of unshipped oars.
How weak and awkward, even comical
this traveler but lately so adroit -
one deckhand sticks a pipestem in its beak,
another mocks the cripple that once flew!
The Poet is like this monarch of the clouds
riding the storm above the marksman's range;
exiled on the ground, hooted and jeered,
he cannot walk because of his great wings.”
- Charles Baudelaire
Like a Potter, God has a plan and a purpose for us.                                                                                                 Like clay, we are filled with air and many impurities.
He places us on 'The Wheel', where we must be schooled.                                                                                  He's ever patient to long endure with our disharmony.
He's beyond tolerant, going the farthest distance with us.                                                                                           He'll bake, shake, remake us; reshape us; return us; resend us;
It's hard to even imagine what good He would not do for us.                                                                               He's unafraid and freely allows freedom of expression and freewill.
He knows no weakness that disallows Him to release us to our own devices.                                                     His Divine Law of Freewill often yield to our hastened demise and destruction.
Many are the tears of God, frequently poured out for the choices we make.                            But He is bound by His Divine Laws, intrinsically stamped upon His character.
Although He is Omnipotent to do as He pleases,                                                                                                  He sometimes prohibits Himself from certain actions.
His Love is also subject to Divine Legalities of Holiness.                                                                                                         And His personal attributes never contradict each other.
He is indeed vitally involved in the human condition';                                                                                  but He forces neither success or failure; and He neither
dictates heaven; nor does He program hell for us.                                                                                            Each destination is a personal preference via free choice.
I must confess, there are times when I wish it were not so.                                                                 But ultimately, the Father knows best how things should go.
Premium Member Cowperson versus Jaws
I went to the Hollywood studio meeting
Paul, Steve and Sandy gave me a warm greeting
I was there to advise them, hired from Spain
My motto in business was no pain, no gain
So we sat down to the business at hand
Their movies were sinking, like stones in quicksand.
"How about a cowboy movie," I said...
"Good guys and bad guys with the latter shot dead!"
A gasp of wonder spread to them all
"Why didn't we think of that?" said Paul
Said Sandy, who though rich, struck me as obtuse
"It has to be woke, it must have juice
The cowboy, we'll call him Abdul McPherson
No, wait, we should refer to him as a CowPerson
His love interest should be black or brown
A birthing person, the soul of the town
The villains name could be Donald McKnight
A Donald Trump stand-in, got to be white."
"Wait," said Steve, "cis-male is a relic."
Abdul should be tender, gender-fluid and angelic."
Steve looked at his reflection in the table of mahogany
Added "How about hints of consensual non-monogamy?"
Sandy said "No! We must push the edge with our fans!
Every character, even the horse, must be trans!"
I was sarcastic, I said "for a true creative spark
We know Spielberg had a hit long ago about a shark,
Maybe stick one in the film, somewhere in the sagebrush
A gasp spread around the table, an awestruck hush
Paul shouted, "that's it!  Cowperson versus Jaws!
A fable about transgressing natures laws!
Lets start shooting tomorrow, drop that Batman remake:
With this kind of theme, we can't make a mistake!"
Despite guaranteed payment, I was feeling sick
I already knew there was no hope for this flick
But they got so thrilled, they made their bet
Sunk investor millions, their studio further in debt.
I gathered my fees, went back to Spain
And  "Cowperson versus Jaws" circled down the drain
To my horror in the credits, they mentioned my name
I was jeered in Madrid, couldn't face the shame.
Paul, Steve and Sandy did fine at the bank
Woke investors kept funding, though the movie stank
Though audiences felt under a dentist's drill
The Critics said the movie was epic, groundbreaking, a thrill.
Geologists say that one day, California will fall into the sea
Its already happened; Hollywood is a parody
Showdown at Noon but no Gary Cooper, can't find John Wayne
Woke Bandits have stolen the gold off the movie train.
You Tell Me To Stand As You Hold Me Down
The day I have to watch what I say
Is the day I wake up to see that I lost myself
Ask me why I want to run away As your screaming at me everyday
Ask me why I can't stand my life
When every time I stand up you push me from behind
Tell me the world is at my feet and you will always be there
When I look around and see my family crying to my face and scheming when I walk away
Tell me to fix my life when my life is locked so far away from me I can't even see myself in the mirror
Now ask yourself why isn't she happy
We promise the world when she leaves
Only to dangle her dreams out of reach
Why do my words mean so much to you
When the world can see that you aren't true
But behind close doors you don't have a clue
You told me if I was lost you would find me
But when tears stream from my face and I tell you
Daddy, I don't know what I am doing
Daddy, help me through Daddy please I really need you
A stone face looks at me and says You've been lost for years
I'm sure you will pull through
My hate has been mistake for strength
And your hate and my hate
Broke a soul I can never remake
You tell me emotion are for the weak
We beat them down till they are on full retreat
I lived a life of feelings and friends
And that was when I was at my weakest
So you pulled me back in
But daddy can I tell you have you ever cried yourself asleep
Because your words cut to deep.
Have you ever been so happy that you promised yourself nothing could take that away
Just to see a knife to your throat by the person that swore to protect you
Imagines of the past rip through my future
As every step becomes cold and calculated
Disappointment is easier to handle then success
And pain is more acceptable then love
Now keep wondering why I can't fix my life
When the only things I can count on happening
Is everything in this world that would bring down the strongest person
Tell me to move forward and remember you kept  me down so long I forgot how to walk
And then explain to my friends why I Flinch away from everyone’s hands
So how can I be better dad, when you taught me to run and hide?
I wish I could fix myself I've even prayed that one day everything would be ok
But if you and your life for me taught me anything
It's don't hope and don't dream It's better to just pretend
And wait until this life ends
Premium Member Unintentional Hero Dragon
A meteor came falling to Earth, as Dragon was flying, so very, very, close by.
His curiosity, must of got the best of him, as he ended up on board, in the sky.
Some say it was simply an accident, after all, we all know, how well he flies!
Whatever occured, the meteor was redirected, saving our town, before our eyes.
Though, no doubt, it was only redirected, due to Dragon’s, fearfully hanging on.
Many do swear, they heard him crying, for Mama and, yes, Grandpa Troll, anon.
This wasn’t good, for the people of Nodding-off-Ham, where peace is so sublime.
Yep, these shy, and retreating folk; were in trouble for yet, again, another time.
Remember, the Sheriff of CrazyLand lives there, Dragon’s most ardent foe.
Why there, you ask? To be far from Dragon’s type of craziness, we all know.
Yep! You got it! The meteor’s flight was, for the Sheriff, not so very sublime.
It Hit the Sheriff’s home, head on, leaving a crater, where he once, did reside.
Dragon was thrown and bounced a few times, resulting in an big earthquake…
Took out most of the town! But don’t worry or cry! All was well after a remake.
For everyone from Mayhem Falls: came to see… the resulting gaping hole…
Trolls jumped into the new pool, made from the broken water pipes, Yo Ho!
Dragon tried to gather everyone up, to take them home, with him, to reside.
It took a Lot of effort to round them up... nobody wanted, with him, to abide!
They kept running away! Until they realized they’d be staying in our home alone.
For a little while, that is, until the Carpenter Trolls, finished their brand new homes.
When rebuilding, the homes… bigger and better, became the name of the game!
And a new Community Center, came with the swimming pool, now so acclaimed!
Not to mention, a meteorite was found, worth a King’s ransom in glorious gold.
Finally the shy people of ‘Nodding-off-Ham’ returned, to close their doors, so bold.
All agreed that it hadn’t been quite so bad, as could be… along life’s tragic shore.
And it ended: a Great News Day, for all, when our Hero Dragon, did save our town!
So ends the most recent tale of our neighbors, in the town of  ‘Nodding-off-Ham’.
The moral: Help can come from unusual places; even Dragon’s and Trolls known for a little Mayhem…
Fiction
What beliefs within that do you define
the adversary's lies or Gods Truth divine
like a child absorbed what you've been taught
have you examined the things that are thought
In the stronghold of your heart and mind
the vast majority of information you will find
is designed to impair accurate thinking
because six thousand years of deceit are drinking
The Word of Truth is made for our correction
to tear down the the entanglements of defection
to expose corruption and self deception
the barriers and veil to the Father connection
People believe in angels but seem to forget
that the armies of Lucifer are still here yet
a deceiver and lies are his pathways
to deaden hearts where clouded thinking stays
Is the easter bunny a truth or lie
and when children grow up and do ask why
in the Truth of God they haven't believed
because like a fairy tale it is received
Just another story as it's understood
like the fables to show evil and good
that the outcome and end can't be serious
because they believe the Truth is mysterious
The paths of Truth lay within simplicity
and it's clarity does overcome lies duplicity
Gods Kingdoms children and such like ones
speak a single Truth not Babylon's tongues
Like the fiction of fairy tales lies reside
in religious doctrine whitewashed graves hide
by pomp and pageantry Jesus teaching denied
and the indoctrination of demons Gods Word belied
Fiction upon fiction are children fed
so like those tales Gods Truth made dead
why take it seriously when one is grown
all stories end happily in heaven is shown
What is important is what they get now
for death doesn't exist for eternal soul anyhow
Beliel and Satan and prophetic prediction
they can just chalk it up as another fiction
One cannot teach lies and be a spiritual Jew
by teaching of Jesus can only speak what is True
to be a Son of God with all lies must brake
for Holy Spirit must heart and mind remake
The Word of God should affect all reason
and clean out all thoughts that to God are treason
Jesus may have died to save all from sin
but that won't help if not reborn within
Behold I am coming quickly says He that is True
to cleanse the earth and make all things new
broad the path to destruction those chosen few
they have believed Gods Word and whats holy renew
Premium Member A Mother’s Guide to the Perfect Performance of Parenting
It wasn’t the life she wanted.
This life drained the light from her eyes,
Turning them to deep gray circles,
Her voice lost its tone,
She lost herself.
Mothering was not a part of the plan.
She was supposed to get out.
Out of the town,
Out of the house,
Out of the state,
Go to school,
Go to college,
Go to work.
Grab the job of her dreams by the reigns,
Ride it into the fantastically detailed future
That she’d been planning since the 6th grade.
A home,
A steadfast group of friends,
Maybe a dog.
But not a kid.
Not a husband.
This was not the plan.
Over the years, she learned to pretend,
If not for the kids, for herself,
For the husband,
That she was happy.
Trapped in this provincial life,
She was happy.
Wake up at 7 a.m.,
Make the bed,
Walk downstairs,
Make coffee,
Make breakfast,
Remake the bed that you forgot to make.
Wake the kids,
Get them ready for school,
Get the keys,
Get in the car,
Get on the road.
Go home.
Sleep because you can never sleep at night,
Trapped in the spiraling paradox
That prances in your mind,
Telling you that this is not your life.
It shouldn’t be.
It can’t be.
At 3:00 p.m.,
Get back in the car,
Get the kids from school,
Get the kids back home,
Get back on the road,
Resist the urge to keep driving
Past the house, into the night,
Never to be seen again.
Resist the urge.
Because you have to.
At 10:00 p.m.,
Make sure the kids are in bed,
Make sure the lights are dimmed,
Make sure the stove and oven are turned off,
Go to your room,
Your husband won’t be home yet,
Not for another 2 hours.
You’ve got time to kill.
Read a book,
Look for flights,
Watch a show,
Cry into your pillow,
Because no one has given you their shoulder
For a very, very long time.
Husband comes home at 12:00 a.m.,
He takes a shower,
Crawls into bed next to you,
You exchange pleasantries,
He turns off the bedside lamp,
Within minutes, he’s asleep.
What to do tonight?
Another successful day,
Set off without a hitch.
Walk back downstairs,
Fold the hampers of laundry,
It’s 3:00 a.m. now,
The kids will be up in 4 hours.
You’ve got time to kill.
Maybe this time,
You and time can trade places.
Maybe this time,
You can keep driving.
Maybe this time,
You can be free.
Maybe, but not today.
What a Man Shoud Know
A man should first know his own strength,
what it is he can and cannot do,
our physical power is no small thing,
use it wrong and you’ll be truly screwed,
they’ll take everything away from you.
But on the right job, or in self-defense
it’s a boon that can make all the difference.
A man should know that he has to work,
that without it there’s no dignity,
that hand-outs just put you on a leash,
make you someone else’s property,
for them to move around endlessly.
To truly be free, you’ll have to labor,
earn the respect of yourself and your neighbor.
Man should know of his nation’s past,
what it cost to get where we are now,
the good and the bad, and who sacrificed
to give us the life freedom allows,
not all folks with this chance are endowed.
It is our duty to see it live on,
to not do so would leave our children wronged.
A man should know to carry a knife,
and to own and use a firearm,
to know the when and why of such things,
in defense only should he cause harm,
or if hunting food down on the farm.
But trusting to fate will leave a man dead,
you must have the tools to hand evil its head.
A man should know how to spend his money,
how to plan ahead and make a budget,
and to put aside for the unforeseen,
it always hits when your least expect it,
and a killer lies within large debts.
It’s not just cash, it’s hours of your life,
things are easier when you spend it right.
A man should know that human nature
is something that’s never going to change,
and all who think they’ll ‘remake’ the world
as either childish, evil, or insane,
their ideas end in nothing but pain.
Treat people as the mixed batch they are,
at least then you’ll have the chance to go far.
A man should know that women are built
different not just in body, but in mind.
Each sex will have its natural strengths,
and we play to them all the time.
Given our aggression men will find
use in restraints from old chivalry,
no matter the protests of the feminazis.
A man should know how to be sincere,
to be honest in his life and his work,
to hold close to a firm code of honor
so as not to devolve into a jerk,
but to still remember how to hurt,
because if you can’t, if you have no backbone,
then you can forget a life that’s your own.
