Premium Member I Came Upon

I came upon a man today
Not socially distant in any way,
But sad and staring off into the sky,
I looked straight into his tearing eye.

What is it, I asked, that has colored you blue?
Is there any one that I may get for you?
Either by phone, or text or even by Lyft?
That may keep your heart from sailing adrift?

He shook his head no, while wiping his face,
And said My life was one big disgrace.
I've blown all my money on women
And cars
Not to mention the stacks I left at the bars.

But that's not what makes me unreasonably sad,
It's what I never did, what I thought that I had. .
I thought all the while that I was alone,
And could count on no one, my ego was blown.

But the truth was so simple, that I missed the boat,
And now my emotions are stuck in my throat.
I wish I had seen the spirit of life
It would have saved me years of strife.

Wasted hours of godless pursuits
Tasting all of the darkest fruits,
To see, in the end, my last hour is here
And all I've to show is sadness and fear.

The decisions I made were part of choice,
To never let anyone drown out my voice.
God was for losers with half of a brain,
Or blind hypocrites that just jumped on the train.

But it wasn't religion that was calling my name,
Just a faint whisper of the key to the game,
You're free to go your own selfish way,
Or choose to rise above all the fray.

When you draw your last breath,
There will still be some time
That you can respond to love,
In an affirmative cry.
I am sorry I wasted the hours and days,
You gave me to use to spread joy and praise.

But the silence looked through me
And saw I was lying,
And just grasping for anything
To avoid my dying.
So as you listen to me now,
Know I have lost my only call
To be with the Love that created us all.

I walk these empty beaches now
For eternity and a day,
While others stop and listen to what I have to say.
My fate is set in stone and hope, forever gone,
As my soul drifts from man to man,
Never to be done.

For hell is not flames nor fire, nor blood,
Nor gnashing of teeth or drowning in mud.
Hell is eternity of knowing that I
Chose my needs over God's, so each day I die.

Lucky Ones

Some women can bounce from man to man,
They've got that pretty face and smooth skin,
But a lot of us have never been so lucky.
Never had the options to choose.
And just because we hold moral and ethical values,
Because we care about God, ourselves, and our reputation,
We cannot jump around like that, have never been able,
So we sit alone for a long, long time.
Perhaps we are wrong, but we are also true to ourselves.
Things are not always what they seem to be.
Why can't you see that everyone faces big challenges,
Every single person. Mine is being alone, doing it myself,
But...I am scared to death of being homeless.
I know what's out there, I know what they do.
I try to get by, make meager ends meet, pay my bills,
But let me remind you, there is nothing,(no one) in my life
For which I would practice being indiscreet.
Besides, I am not a beautiful woman, not a lucky one,
And not one single man has been interested in me
Since you. No, not one.
I am not one of the lucky ones.

Premium Member List of Shame

You'd think by now companies would have seen the light
And stopped trading in Russia and doing what is right
But many big companies are still there, raking it in
Indirectly funding that war mongerer Vladimar Putin.

See the list of companies above and remember a name
How the hell do they sleep at night, have they no shame ?
Their profits are being payed with Ukrainian blood
Bodies of innocent people lying dead, in snow and mud.

Russians are cowards, man to man they won't fight
And fire missiles indiscriminately at everything in sight
A sign of sheer desperation by an evil Russian despot
But Ukraine is fighting back with everything they've got.

Big Bad Bart-Mountain Man

Alright all you pigeon chests
Came the sound of thunder from the open door
As Big Bad Bart replaced the space
Giant mountain man of lore

Making his way into the bar
Sweeping Nancy boys out of his way
Stepping up to the the jukebox
Kicking it till some good ole country boy music played

This mountain man has made it his goal
To grab hold and unsissify
Any Wimpy Wally's
That happen to catch his manly eye

He started off his conquest
Out in the great North wood
First stop The Red Eye Back Door Saloon
Need I explain the name to you

He went in with his moral barrels a blazing
But there wasn't much he could do
Village people the only band on the jukebox
Y.M.C.A. being the only tune

He didn't let that little nitch stop him
Or slow him down by any means
Giving America back to the menly men
And not the mousey men with their girly dreams

Till the day that Bart locked eyes with Stanly
In that San Francisco flower bar
Those two haven't left each others side
Going through life now arm and arm

They spend their time skipping through fields of pansies
Giggling freely hand in hand
The way Bart now feels this was meant to be
Mia Mono, Man to Man

Bart's lumberjack buddies can't believe it
And don't know what to think of their friend
Although they all secretly admit
He does look good in those Hot Pink Hot Pants

My apologies to...

The Gays
The Mountain Men
The Lumber Jacks
The makers of Hot Pink Hot Pants

Did I leave anyone out?
If so I apologize for that too!

Evil Deeds

Under street lamps where shadows play,
You danced on hearts as if they were clay.
Pogo’ing from man to man,
Now you’re lost in the sinking sand.

Whispers echo through the break room air,
Your name's a melody of shame and despair.
Thought you could fly high with your lies,
Now watch as your life crumbles and dies.

Boom boom boom boom, feel the base thrum,
This is what you get when the devil finally comes.
Boom boom bird brain, your mask falls away,
Face the music for all the men you’ve played.

Boom boom boom boom! This is what you reap
Time to pay for those evil deeds buried deep!
Boom boom bird brain, now it’s your time to bleed
The world turns cold when you are the one in need.

There's no one left in your empty room;
Just echoes of laughter that turn to gloom.
Thought you'd shine in a world of gold,
Power fades fast when the truth unfolds.

Feel the terror in each lonely cart roll—
A heart without home is a fractured soul.
You played with fire thinking you were safe
But flames have a way of leaving their trace.

Boom boom boom boom, hear the sound collide
This is what you get when there is nowhere to hide.
Boom boom bird brain, all glitz turned to rust
Now it's time to face every choice that was thrust.

Oh oh oh! Did it feel good? Did it thrill?
To tear down others just for cheap thrills?
With every high comes a low like this—
Karma’s got a rhythm and you won’t be missed!

Boom boom boom boom as your fortunes fade
This is what you get for every wrong crusade.
Boom boom bird brain with nowhere to flee
Look at yourself; can’t escape from me!

Boom boom doom doom—the clock’s ticking fast;
Finally all your evil deeds caught up at last!
Boom bam bang bang—You don’t have to agree:
What you do always comes back—soon you’ll see!

(Refrain fades out... boooom... boooom... boooom... )

Just Can't Fathom
By Franklin Price

Just can't fathom man to man
The how the why the can't the can
The reasoning for you and me
Rash practice of stupidity

The wants the needs the lines are blurred
The voices visions seen and heard
Goals mixed for us for self and shared
The do nots and the ones who dared

Accepted values in the end
And lack of such will much depend
On how we move along the way
And make our choices day to day

Lack of thought lies everywhere
In conversation we should share
Our witness of those things we see
Of practices that should not be

And if when shared that is the end
So far from right that is my friend
We must then participate
Or others will decide our fate

To sit aside fuss and profess
And point that others made this mess
And think there's nothing we can do
We gladly practice stupid too

Man to man

Man to man
Is so unjust how men suffer
Yes man is the problem of man
Remember one man poison
Is another man food
So who is my friend
Yes who shall i trust
Man betray man
Man kill man
Man make man a slave
Man is jealous too
Is so unjust how men suffer
Man is greedy
Man is powerful yet
Power intoxicate a man
Man is the reason why man cry

Man to man
Is so unjust how men suffer
If only man respect man
Wars will be gone
If man is honest to man
Progress will never disappear in life
If man don’t manipulate man
Men will develop with the truth
If only man respect man
The evils of our generation will be abomination
Man is king
Man is powerful yet
The reason why
man die young relates with
Man to man

And the walls came tumbling down.

Do you have the faith to march to battle
Raise your sword and strike the enemy down
Tread through snow with feet bleeding
Hunger pains while crawling under Death's shadow
Sleepless nights and soul searching
War is hell the anguish screams in killing
Burning days in scorching deserts
All to keep a point to hold
Disease mocks your very existence
Limbs are torn away
Drowning in swampy waters

Spears with bloody tips a glazed
Stone by stone you tear away
Stone by stone fortress made
Stone by stone piles a quick grave
The jackals belly full of human flesh
The body rots as vultures dish
Strike a blow with sword in hand
Combat man to man
If you win a hero's creed
Lose begets death as life bleeds

Why is it that so many young die
Behind shutter gates the elders survive
Deciding fate for profits sake
The more war the more money to make
Kingdoms rise and kingdoms fall
But the same people always rule us all
Did Joshua kill all evil as God command
Or did he allow some to live and bring down man
The world drowning in sin
So it begin so it ends

The Meeting

I was in the chair, list of attendees:
God, the fallen angel, Alice in wonderland,
Caesar, alter ego, Nero and Cleopatra.
Solomon, doubting Thomas and Bill Clinton.

The minutes were approved, Alice hadn't moved,
Cleopatra wrestled with an asp near her chest,
alter ego said that:'I always know what's best,
Caesar made a salad, Solomon gave Cleo the come on.

The fallen angel gathered some souls, Nero played bowls,
doubting Thomas didn't think there should be another meeting,
God and I spoke man to man, I was his greatest fan,
Bill Clinton said that he did not have sex with that woman.

The meeting was called to a close, Alice went down the hole,
followed by Clinton, ready to score another own goal.

If you are a homosexual

Man to man
If you are a homosexual
You need to change—
I present a 'contextual' analysis
Based on a pretext and a post-text!

Your emotion is based on something
God 'your Source did not design'
Therefore. sign a 'new' beginning in your life
Be honest with God the Father and
Jesus can impact your life so that you
Can understand your purpose in life

Homosexuality is a perversion of the truth!
Do not remain perplexed or
You will be vexed with ‘deceit’
I might not understand your 'perspective'
But understand God's 'objective' when
He sent His Son to die for you and me!

Man to man
You need to change!
Homosexuality is wrong
My Government’s (Heavenly) position is clear.
