Joyous, generous, kindhearted, marvelous, musically talented, and handsome with self-esteem issues - placing my feet in other people's shoes to experience and feel their hues of blues
Wonderful, crazy cool, chaotically peaceful, mellowly untamed, lost, but found...God's chosen child to fulfill His word somehow...someday, prosperity, fame, and fortune will surround me...success at my finger tips, getting my man grips as I mend friendships with God's advice, corrections and tips in mind...letting time unwind, wishing that my daydreaming come true by actions and interactions
Essence of faith fibers...good and bad traits shape my inner and outer being...meeting new zealous horizons that embrace change, which is a challenging chore and oh so much more
Awesome good apple of the bunch and God's mild, wild child...a poet and lyricist that had his verses erased online or misplaced in who-knows-where
Rapt up in rue, yet a light to this world of woe...my mission is to fulfill God's Word - His tranquil truth is not sugarcoated by deceptive lies
Not afraid to speak my mind through verses and lyrics
Introvert and extrovert...shy in person at first, then I open up confidently and jabber on and on 24/7...I do listen to others' point of view, but I have a lot to say about a lot of things that has to do with writing, singing, music, etc. - anything goes as long as I go my own flow and His flow, not anyone else's flows that are in unison in rows to and fro...I make friends and foes, but I love all - fat or skinny, small or tall
Nostalgic nights and delightful days inspire me to engage in writing and singing day in and day out without a smear of doubt...no sleep placed in eyelids tonight, so I'm fighting the mighty fight
Gracious and glorious...kinda lazy, yet so busy all the time in all aspects of life - bipolar is the condition I have...and an indecisive, yet creative-logical Gemini
So picky, yet forgiving and eccentric elegantly...a handsome soul that's full of humility and modesty in all honesty...I have a young heart that is of bliss, XO and art
What to do?
It's Saturday morning, 09:16, I'm hesitating, I don't know where I'm going. Where?
Where should I go? To where? Oh, I have many ideas, I have many. You need it all
It is now 11:14. I went to the store, my desire was smothered, my thirst killed me
I met a nice saleswoman in the store, she is Indian, I saw her last night as well
I bought a Merlot Australia, and a Woodgate Original Cider, and I pondered, wondered
I'm thinking now sitting here in my room, haven't I decided where to go? Where?
I'm indecisive. Where should I go? To my favorite places? Loves, memory, impressions
All that, souls, lives in me. Existing places, they live on after my life; dated, my life out
Places, neighborhoods, parks, forests, um, if there's a woman there, if there's not, I go.
12:07 I'm late
nobody here walking
i talk to myself to heal
i sing an old late 60s song in the temperamental, indecisive sunshine
raindrops then begin to actually fall on my head
however that is okay
i am off work today and the rest of the week
all my errands have been run
it is still early in the day
all of the bills have been paid
my annual physical was a flawless success for a change
now i shall sing that song about it being time for a cool change
the birds are singing
the ducks, the geese, and the swans are echoing my inner feelings
the water is glistening and sounding so peaceful,
and i have it all to myself
the rarest of moments are to be enjoyed in our One Life To Live
Time isn’t static; it’s always dynamic.
The flow of time can’t be reversed.
It can only resolve certain issues.
It soothes pain and heals many wounds.
March with it, or else you’ll trail behind.
Does 'Time' really decide?
A decision in time becomes a winning factor.
Wait for time to grab an opportunity.
Not to lose a chance due to impatience.
Don’t be hasty.
It pulls wise Dr. Faustus down.
It can turn heroes into zeros and vice versa.
It does fun with egotists.
What remained for Ozymandias?
Don’t be indecisive like Hamlet.
‘To be or not to be’ will take away lives.
It makes the strongest into feeble
It can break Berlin walls and storm Bastille forts.
It paves path to significant changes.
When the time comes...
Caterpillars transform into butterflies.
Live in the present.
And be a reference for the generation to come.
Sandpiper Pausing...Again
What times are these
where hearts run hot and cold
ceaseless conscience alerts
remind us of steel girders fallen prone
entombments sealed
their distant voice remembered well
Compassion's lens peers through
this fallen metropolis of micro-flesh
this glass transparency
engulfed by forsaken smoke
knowing today's ethereal
descends as heart's residue
embracing darkness recalled
clock hands stopping
media rushing to air-time
yet never to be out of date
Silence remembers
fused tragedies
crumbling worlds
bodies falling
hearts broken
Yet
learning comes hard
More violence breaks the silence
cacophonous pandemonium
empty shell casings bouncing
pop pop pop pop pop
children's pleas
teachers' bravery
first responder's sorrow
parents traumatized
grievance everywhere
Sterility reigns
Washington defers
barbarity's extended abyss
the next tragic moment to define
insensitive that irresponsible behavior
will spawn new memories
destined to awaken vanquished yesterdays
Like a video game of archaic gulosity
certain chameleon passions remain insatiable
indecisive apathy-driven appetites
fuel congressional obstruction
While at the shore
A sandpiper pauses
beneath remembered ash
echoed violence
unredeemable screams
floating atop societal trade winds
seeming to be never forgotten
Like other creatures of blood that flows
eyes that see
ears that hear
hearts remaining conscious
knows not cowardice
Even a bird understands that
And so...
Even as the sandpiper probes away
its discovered sustenance hard fought
its needs remaining small
congressional appetites of power and greed
continue sated only with constituency expectation
indulging in anticipated 2013's gluttonous reward
thinking the next tragedy but finger food
the next gun sales windfall a payback for re-election
answering the next challenge of moral impotency with...
Not a problem
Not a problem
My last Thursday class is over - my class-week is over.
Looking back at the science building we’d just left,
the hallway looked dark, like the throat of an animal,
the people snaked out like a tongue, the archway
seemed like a mouth - I shivered and looked away.
Lisa laughed, and my senses returned to reality.
The clouds on high, hung like fresh linens on a line
being dried by the sun in its Egyptian-blue heaven.
The air smelled rich, clean and ionized and ever
the inventive stylist, it periodically rearranged my hair.
Leaves rustled, sounding like a buzz of conversation,
as they rushed from place to place, as if late to class.
The breeze was working hard, in jerky flourishes,
like the strokes of an indecisive artist.
The afternoon seemed as bright and brash as a shout
as if it wanted, no demanded, our emotional attention
and I gave it, smilingly, ready for the weekend.
When And Why
Concepts of right and wrong
White and black without the shades of grey
Where did those ideas come from?
Whose warped mind divided the world into two?
Murder is murder unless it is done on a battlefield?
Killing an unborn child is ok but only until it is born
It is okay for people to starve
But it isn’t legal to steal a love of bread to feed a family
Pets are left to waste away on the sides of the road
Or take them to a shelter and have them kill it for you
After all…it is painless to die
Animals can die for sport as long as they die running
It is okay as long as they don’t fight
People can be crippled for sport
It brings in the money
But we are told that it is not right to inflict injury
As long as the owners count their millions
It is alright to be a man until a woman wants your job
It is alright to be a woman until a foreigner takes your job
When did the world become so segmented?
So indecisive about what is right and wrong
When did we screw it all up?
I am very indecisive
And so choices cause me strife,
Though when I reveal my problem
I’ll be told to “get a life!”
For presented on a platter,
At a friend’s house, after lunch,
There was not just one dessert
But many pastries, quite a bunch.
Thus, confronted with cannolis,
Carrot cake and pecan pie
And a towering red velvet –
Who could choose? Well, how could I?
A Napoleon was nestled
Next to some dark chocolate square
And of course, since we are healthy,
There was lots of fruit to spare.
So I narrowed down my options;
In addition to some fruit,
I had part of a cannoli
And some carrot cake, to boot.
Oh, if all of life’s dilemmas
Could be solved with such a taste,
Then the problems that exist on earth
Could simply be erased!
Adamant mindsets
In a modern setup,
Vibrant visions evaporates
To emptiness, nothingness and waywardness.
Leaving the people in stark darkness,
Leading to nowhere,
As penury is declared "king",
Hunger succeeds the throne
As blind leaders hardened the
Economy like bone.
Giving peanuts to the peasants
But gold for the wealthy,
Oh! what a chess game in the midst
Of blind spectators.....
Mothers swaying in tattered rags,
Struggling with drying breasts which
Produces the hopeful milk of the skinny infants...
Children strolling with empty plates
Searching for who to wet their throats.
Fathers planting courage and assurance,
Hoping the land will be milky someday,
Yet the center is not holding
For heads are plenty but the brains are few...
Therefore turning weakening hearts
To marauding crooks,
Victimizing themselves,
Staining their whites,
Be litling their lives,
Insulting their hands
Making the land stink,
While Africa bears the smell,
To the detriment of her virtue.
Our agricultural and peaceful
"green white green", they've turned to
A dark and bloody "red black red".
Now who leads who in this
Criminal war front, corrupt justice
And indecisive generation?
Things fall apart when truth step aside,
Evil takes the lead when black minds
Score the goal...
Things fall apart when the people can't merge.
Why do we always become aware of things when it’s too late
The unconscious mind screaming to closed ears just wait
And you know the saying hindsight is 20/20, well some are looking the wrong way
Gasping for one last breath, when fate is instinctive, and we just opened the wrong gate
Stumbling down a dark road, getting drunk off your indecisive thought, and getting lost in a maybe
Going anywhere but up
Sipping from the finest glass when all we need is a cup
Your no cannot see clearly and your yes comes about rarely
So, you always leave a p.s. explaining all your wishful maybes
In essence this is just a post script, explaining my life in a long p.s.
because we all have regrets or things, we wished we would have said
We’re constantly writing little nothings in life
that mean everything in someone else’s head
This is my afterthought
p.s. a heart beating but dead...
