"I love you"
These are the three ripe words that
I wanted to whisper in your ears.
So, I
Fixed a date
You came
We met
We spoke
But I couldn't propose:
Though tattooed on the tip of my tongue,
at my dismay it refrained to flow out.
Then,
I packed all my feelings and emotions in a box
with a love letter clinched to it
and laid it on your desk.
Looking at the hourglass
Counted the time.
Zealously anticipating
for your arrival
But,
Unfortunately
you were on sick leave.
Poor me
Carried the box
ran and hopped into a taxi.
Impatiently sitting,
throughout the ride
yearning to meet you..
After reaching the destination
Carelessly forgetting the box,
restlessly I jumped down
Rushed to your flat
Found your name plate beside the door
Pressed on the calling bell
Faced your maid
With a fine clarification
I stepped inside the hall
Not finding you
Confused I stood.
In a while,
Got to know
that you have been shifted
to hospital;
Not knowing the address
and the exact location
I stumbled
Place to place..
In search of you
With a wrong information.
Cash had melted;
Looking my wallet
I sat on the street
gaping at your photo,
that..I had stolen
from your locker.
Hit suddenly an idea..
Thought of calling you
But,
In a hurry had left my
mobile on my table;
Recalling your number
I went to a telephone Booth
I tried and tried and tried..
With many failed attempts
I just heard the recorded voice
which repeatedly said:
"your call is not reachable"
My eye lids were twitching
prophesying something awful is to happen.
The clouds were shadowed by darkness;
And I returned back home
with a huge sigh;
Found my pillow
Embraced ,
Cried my heart out,
Lay insomniac,
whole night
Thinking
Of YOU
I stay awake
Worrying,
What might have happened to you..!
The next day morning,
I found newspaper
Headlines said:
"Airplane crashed due to turbulence"
Strange was to know..
Your name typed too..
under the missing passenger list.
Why such a shocking news ?!
Why the hell did he board the flight
all in sudden with no clue?
Myself wriggled
On the floor..
Soul paralyzed
"Losing him"
~The Untold love~
The one who capriciously
got away from me
in a very
short span
of time.

Whenever you feel lost
Or when you feel to reset
To look back and feel refreshed
Click the “Home” key
It’ll open the door to inner prosperity
A heart filled with joy
For there’s no place like home
When you feel like something is missing
Or you are missing something
You look through the woods and see a forest
You finally decide to run away, don’t!
Click the “insert” key
It’ll make space for a missing heart
A missing soul
Or a missing leter
Then the letter makes a word whole
No need to panic, insert!
Each time you feel you wronged someone
Or there’s something making you look or feel terrible
There’s a key called “backspace”
You can hit it way back to fix all the wrongs
All the mistakes that find you mistaken
Forgiveness is such a key, no, backspace
A sure way to fix things
Anytime you foresee danger
Trouble lingering ahead, impatiently waiting for you
You know you’ll lose it
You’ll lose her, him, them
Click on “delete”
It’s there to save you from the bad
It’s not gonna happen
It’s never gonna happen
Then you know you are safe
When you feel squashed and need to make way...
When things are compressed and you need to breathe
Take a walk and visit “space”
Bet you’ll need this guy as often
Might become great friends
Don’t be afraid, you need air
And space is there to give it to you
Sometimes, in order to go forward
One needs to reflect
See what you have, or have had
Some highlights or flashbacks
Can go a long way
You need “PrtSc”, print screen in full
To observe for you what you cannot
Through the naked eye of ignorance
Reflect, it’s a good part of moving on
One wouldn’t argue that
Now and again you could use a “tab”
From one place to another
Hop forward, this is a slow train
Why not adjust and keep the format most suitable for you
This is your life, take a tab!
Whatever life throws at you
You know you are the only one
Who is in possession of this special key
It’s a key to happiness
It’ll transport you to any place you ever want to go
It’ll give you anything you need, and want
This key has a name, like no other
“Ctrl” is the only key you can ever use whenever you want to
It’s never far from you
It’s on both your right and your left hand side
Always reachable, always available
You should try it sometimes
Life can be computerized
But what if a computer is personalized?
There I was just chillen with all my homeies in the big zip block bag. We were all talking about the latest ozome spray, and we were wondering if it would work on us, since our scents were pretty potent. We all just were hanging out when suddenly we felt the dresser draw open. Sock after sock were moved until the tuber ware container we lived in was found. The sound of the struggle they made to open the tuber ware scared us, but then we heard the popping sound and knew it was open. “Who would it be?” we all thought impatiently. There was just so many varieties of us to choose from, it was crazy. Afghan, Afghani, Alaskan Thunder**** ,Black Widow ,Blue Dream, Blueberry , Buddha, Cali Dream, Cali Gold, Caribbean Dream, or me Hash. We all were anxious to see who it would be today. We never knew, the big hand would come in and just choose so many of us at different times that we never knew what to expect. He went to the left, than he went to the right, and then he went to the center; and looked dead in at me. Everyone turned around and stared at me. I didn’t know what to do! I didn’t know what to say. Dead silent, it was pure dead silence when I looked to my left, to make a run for it, whoosh their I go! Up in the air, taken by the big hand! Never to see friends or loved ones again, never being able to tell them what happens up here with the big hand out from the dresser. The big hand was holding me, than there was some weird exchange with another hand and something green looking, than I was gone from that room forever. The next day, I was taken out by this new big hand. He put me in some big contraption, it said it was made of steel. He tossed me in there and, Ow! Oh the pain I cannot describe! Ow! Ow! Ow! Oh so miserable. I am in pieces, literally. I am in pieces, and some dark chamber I have never seen before. All a sudden, it opens. I am banged thumb, thumb, thumb, out onto the table. I am placed in some cylinder looking object, and thrown back together with all my pieces. While sitting there, thinking and wondering about what is going to happen to me, it suddenly gets hot. So sudden, in fact, that you ought to think somebody lit a match or something… and then… Ow! Ow! Oooh! Fire! It burns! My life! It has gone up in flames and smoke, and now I am gone! Oh how do I miss the dra-… Death, something undeniable to every human, animal, and mind.
The Master Artist Pt 1 --Pt 2--the ending, is the next posting
The artist’s tray was loaded with colors, each pastel waiting for its turn:
Hues of indigo blues lie impatiently, sparks of carmine seemed to burn.
While English chrome colors lay in anticipation for the Master’s touch.
The yellow ochre pansies readied to fill the void on the painter’s scene.
Each hue was waiting for its turn but chosen first was the yellow green.
Winds blew lightly against the canvas and upon each color that he lay
Each sound had a melodic lilt as the grass seemed to grow and sway
Under a fountain of colors, each strike radiant upon the colored field.
Cerulean blue skies lightly painted waited for a stray, pearl-grey cloud
To float above the lively meadow, yet no spring rain would be allowed.
The artist was tired, yet couldn’t wait to return quickly the next day.
Morning came and his fervent fingers reached for the pastels that lay
Undiscovered upon the palette—more hues waiting for their chance.
He painted a sapphire blue creek moving snake-like up then down.
The artist smiled wisely, painting groves of trees of Van Dyke brown.
Afternoon came and pastel shades were glazed upon the flowing water
As the creek rippled over the violet stones painted on by the Master.
He seemed to lose all sense of night and day as each hue told a story.
Colors flew from left to right and the meadow seemed to come alive
Ruby hues were topped upon the phlox as fragrant flowers did thrive.
His hand would not cease until he had painted the bluebird at its song.
The misty meadow was melodious as he painted crickets to sing along.
The artist looked upon his growing scene and knew what it still needed
But his hand was weary and the pastel scene would wait another day
For colors that still lay brightly unused upon the Master Artist’s tray.
The next day he painted against the sky purple hills gently sun-kissed.
His hands worked with great passion as twisting trees seemed to tryst.
Pastel colors floated upon the land as pink butterflies flew here and there.
Sounds of songbirds were singing as his meadow seemed to nearly burst
With every color and every hue that the great artist had fervently dispersed.
Part Two has the Master Artist poem ending that I posted after this one--
(PoetrySoup doesn't allow enough space)
If it's meant to be, then it will be
All I know is that I'm done killing myself over a fantasy
The way last year's nightmare,
Can becomes today's reality,
In the blink of an eye,
All under the same sky;
Thinking about it makes me wish to be high,
To forget my feelings and the sorrow they cause me,
Letting them momentarily fade away and die
Thinking about how this is what it has come to,
Brings forth from me a melancholic sigh
I should try showing my feelings the door,
Out of my heart, so that it isn't shattered further,
From a thousand pieces into a million pieces patterning the floor
From this insane rollercoaster of love,
My heart and mind are already sore,
Being optimistic these days,
Feels like a strenuous chore
I just want to feel as light as a feather
Hopelessly waiting for things to get better
Impatiently waiting for the storm to clear away,
Knowing it will leave my heart impervious as clay
There's nothing more left to do or say,
Other than remember how our end was imminent, clear as day
It isn't a crime to flirt,
But the reaction it will bring will only remind me,
That my feelings are worth nothing more than dirt
That doing so is a pointless effort,
Whose result will only get me hurt
Who would've thought I'd be resaving her contact name?
Who would've thought she'd be doing the same?
Who would've thought my love for her would become a beast I had to tame?
Necessitated by her leaving, as suddenly as she came
Before she did though, I knew I was playing a loosing game
Damn, this life is crazy
One minute, there's nothing but bliss and magic
Dwelling in mutual feelings discovered to be platonic,
The next, these feelings are one sided,
At that point, to the owner, they become toxic
I want to say 'there's no such thing as magic'
Preceded by 'If I'm being realistic,'
But; there is, I experienced it firsthand,
And it would be an understatement to simply say it had me ecstatic
It just happened to end, in a way I'd consider tragic
I remember when it did;
In the flow of my thoughts, there was great traffic,
Millions of thoughts honking at each other,
Crashing either into each other,
Or obstacles of confusion and pain
I remember how it felt as though I was going insane
Most of my days after that hardly saw the sun,
Just storms of thunder and rain
Walking home from the bus stop, with a little girl.
I did this every day, and I was really sure,
That everything would be just fine, like every other day,
But little did I know, that this was not like other days.
She stop behind a broke down van, to tie her favorite shoes.
Little did we both know, the van was working well.
I stopped with her, making sure not to leave,
As it was my job to get her home nice and safe.
The van suddenly started moving, and I told her to move.
I can’t she said in reply, im not done tying my shoe.
Tara I said impatiently, we need to move now.
She refused and then I pushed her, making her move.
It was my job to get her home safe, and safe home she would get.
Just then the bumper hit me, knocking me to the ground.
I tried to get up but couldn’t, because the tire was on my leg.
People screaming at the lady, who was in the driver seat.
The lady did not listen, she kept going on with ease.
I screamed, and all went black.
And the next thing I remember,
I am sitting in the passenger seat, my mom lunging over me
Paramedics all around asking me if I hurt,
I am I said, my legs and shoulder, but I cant really feel my legs.
They put me in the ambulance, carefully transporting me from the scene
I wake up in a hospital bed, with my mom sitting next to me.
You may never be able to walk again, she tells me delicately
The accident broke both your hips, you were lucky to survive.
Then the nurse came in, telling me the rest of the news.
I cried and cried as I heard I may not be able to move.
Your really lucky she then told me, as most people don’t survive.
But you did and that’s all that matters, my mom said with a smile.
She kissed my forehead and said she would be back soon.
I fell asleep in a hospital bed, and woke up in my own.
I don’t remember much of this day, but what I do I have said.
Tara survived with no injuries and I am happy that it was me.
I had to quit my favorite sport, and I missed nationals that weekend.
3 months later my shoulder was healed,
And I was re-learning how to walk.
I don’t dread what I did that day, not one bit in the least.
I saved a little girls life. But gave away some of my own.
Its been a little over 5 years since this.
And I still have side effects from it.
But I can walk, and do most everything,
That I was able to do before.
Form:
Here I sit, on an examination table
bored, swinging my feet to and fro
waiting for a doctor who will be able
to diagnose the reason why I feel low
I study the body posters while I wait
in my unfashionable blue paper gown
I must remember to sit up straight
to keep my tushie from being found
Another hour goes by, maybe more
I'm sure I got forty winks in a nap
I can hear him now, outside my door
clicking his tongue then 'rap, rap, rap.'
A cheesy smile then he reads my chart
I could tell him what he needs to know
and doctors are supposed to be so smart
Well, he should have been here long ago.
He shakes my hand then off to the sink
where he washes with ten squirts of soap.
"You think I'm contagious?" I ask with a blink.
"Don't know," he says. "Maybe there's hope."
He inquires, "Now, what seems to be wrong?"
I ramble symptoms; there are many to convey
while squirming from the pinch of my thong.
Shouldn't doctors be old, at least turning gray?
"Lie back," he mumbles, "and I'll check you out.
Blood pressure's high. You have a fever, too."
Into his stethoscope I was tempted to shout
but he hands me a cup and I'm off to the loo.
I clean off the seat from someone's neglect
sit quite impatiently, and desperately I try
to get enough of a specimen for him to inspect
while maneuvering the cup beneath my thigh.
Back to the room and the nurse peeks in.
A frown on her face makes me start to worry.
She seeths the words, "Where have you been?"
"My pee cup runneth over," was my true story.
Dr. OneSoYoung returns and takes a chair.
Eyes of blue, handsome face, but I digress
while I'm sitting here with my bottom bare
Wondering if my thoughts, I should confess.
"Get dressed," he orders, with a look of dread.
Must be bad news, I tremble, cold with a chill
thinking that by tomorrow I surely will be dead.
"You just have a bad cold and here is your bill."
I spent all morning thinking I was near death
and his diagnosis claims that all I have is a cold.
I peeled off my wrap and said in hissing breath
"Your bedside manner sucks, if truth be told!"
To the pharmacy, I strode with a disgruntled look.
I have to pay a fortune for prescribed medication.
Druggist or physician, which is the biggest crook?
Now I suffer from the malady of acute indignation!
All those High School years, she stared at smiles
and would envy those, lined up in rows
shoulder to shoulder, enjoying the carefree days.
They with porcelain jewels, of sparkling white
she would have given her life to have such shine,
but was much too shy, to seek their eyes
At fifteen years old...she averted her eyes
while beneath her nose, no winning smile
would grace her face. So, to avoid disgrace, she declined to shine
or laugh with the kids in the algebra rows.
How often she'd long to star in the play and dazzle her whites
"Be patient," they'd tell her...."You'll be a beauty, one day"
And while she waited impatiently for that far away day
keeping chin down, this ugly duckling, with lowered eyes
It may seem extreme, but a few kids, with straight and white,
called her "Metal Mouth", which dampened her spirit and also her smile.
Barely could she eat the mushy fruits, passing the rows
of cripsy foods, ate mostly mashed and white, pining for a crisp apple to shine
She talked with a lisp, while awkward wires shined
and wore horrid bands. Then on those "Ortho" days
after school, while in uncomfortable chairs lined up in rows,
he'd greet, "How are you, Missy?" ..with his bespectacled eyes.
"Open wide"....(and with pliers that looked like her Dad's, but could fix a smile)
as, with all of his might, he adjusted and tightened....correcting her whites
Branded with bands across the whites
Correcting the gaps, the lapse, the crooked shine
A few like her with awkward smiles
Would count the hours and count the days
Longed for smiles to please the eye
And be so blessed with perfect rows
Finally one day, while sitting in rows
Snip-snip!, at last, he cried..."Let's free these whites"!!
With excitement, the life came back to her eyes
"I'll grant your wish, with a brand new shine!"
She was the happiest girl on the planet today
and she left his office with a brand new smile!
While sitting in school rows, she beams her white teeth, merrily joining the fun
Her eyes always shine now, she stands tall and proud, singing out loud in the sun
And during each school day, she smiles all the time, finally her life has begun!

Impatiently we stand in line, tickets in our hand
At last we are ushered inside, hoping for seats up front
But people push ahead,...so we wiggle into row two
A tall head sits in front of me...............................................oh well, never mind.
Crowds fill the chairs, and chatter fills the air
Small children held up high for better view, mothers hold small bouquets in their laps
Fathers hold Canons or Kodaks, with extra rolls of film
Opening my program...I look for her name
Her name should stand out like neon....brighter than any other! Oh yes! there it is!
But her name is printed like all the rest.................................oh well, never mind.
With a dimming of the lights, the first chord of music meets our ears
The show begins. We clap politely, and watch patiently
It's not yet her turn.............................................................oh well, never mind
Finally we realize her turn is near! Anticipation is building! We sit straighter in our chairs!
We crane our necks a little higher, camera is ready.....YES! THERE SHE IS!!
OUR SHINING LITTLE STAR!!
Oh dear...she misses a step...................................................oh well, never mind.
Her hair touched with sprinkles, her smile is glowing
A little wrinkle of concentration on her brow, ...
Taking care that she makes each move on cue
She is shining, amazing, and wonderful!!
Doesn't everyone see it? How could they miss it? That she stands out from all the rest??!!
We clap madly...why are the others only clapping politely?
Our camera flashes brightly! Why aren't other cameras flashing too??
Could it be that all these folks....all these other mums and dads,
All these other grams and gramps, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles
Do they see different stars than ours? Perhaps.
Oh well.....never mind. We know those other stars can't possibly, no not possibly
Shine as bright as ours............................................................oh well, never mind.
There's a star in the heavens we'll name, 'Sweet Claire' for you...so don't you ever mind...
